Hi all,

AF arrived today so thought I would start a new thread....feel free to join.

First cycle since MMC and ERPC on 1st October, following BFP straight after implant removal.

Bit odd for me, first proper AF in a few years.

Hoping this is the month!

@Hitherebaby - I'm good - trying not to have into the temptation of testing yet! Its sooooo hard! Have actually been thinking that it must not be our month as I've had zero symptoms so far - but this morning I've woken up all achy with very sensitive breasts and then ended up feeling very nauseous in the car. Could be absolutely nothing as I do get travel sick just not usually for short journeys!

Sunshinexx95 · 30/11/2019 11:33

Hi everyone ..
anyone who is 7dpo today? ❤️
Wanna share symptoms ?

GeminiCancer · 30/11/2019 11:38

Hi ladies, jumping on.
Currently on cd31.
Previous cycles have went 29days, 35days, 29 days, 34 days, 29 days.
So I'm thinking this cycle might be 33days by following the pattern? What do you ladies think?
OH and I have literally had sex every single day this month. I tested last night and got a BFN.
Am I out this month? Any advice welcome.

Hitherebaby · 30/11/2019 13:08

@Sunshinexx95 - I'm at DPO6 but I'm trying not to symptoms spot and I'm experiencing symptoms are very usual before I get my AF.

I've been feeling very bloated/gassy, nipples are quite sensitive, cramps for a few seconds a day, tummy feels a little weird like something is bubbling but I reckon it's because I'm feeling bloated. Otherwise, I'm feeling fine. Not any more tired from usual, no heightened smell.

Hitherebaby · 30/11/2019 13:16

@GeminiCancer it depends on when you ovulated... but i say you're still in! The chances look good! Hope to hear your good news soon x

AliSxo · 30/11/2019 15:59

9DPO and bfn this morning xx fed up, I know it's still early but I think what I thought was a hint of a line on an IC was actually an indent x boobs are sore but always are at this time in my cycle, bit more CM and mood swings so I'm not out until AF arrives xx

GeminiCancer · 30/11/2019 18:48

@Hitherebaby Tested again about 10mins ago. Sainsburys tests. Still a BFN. I guess AF will rear her ugly head soon x

Blooft · 30/11/2019 19:27

@AliSxo I'm same as you, 9dpo and AF due in 5 days so I tested today. BFN with a clear blue early test. I'm only first cycle and I'm 39 so I knew it was pretty unlikely.
I don't do well with uncertainty, so I'm not testing again and will assume AF will arrive.

In a wierd way, it's a relief just to know and be able to get on with things for the next couple of weeks. Obviously, every negative is disappointing, but I remember the TWWs, feeling like I was losing the plot, when I was TTC DD. Second guessing everything and squinting at lines that weren't there. Knowing, even if it's a definite negative, is easier to deal with than that craziness. Of course that might change as time goes on.
Anyone else feel like that?

GiraffesAreTheBest · 30/11/2019 20:13

@Blooft yes! I had a BFN on Thursday and even though AF not arrived yet, I am calmly resigned to her showing her face soon enough! App predicted AF on Friday so technically late but I've been anything from 26 to 31 days so we'll within range!

AliSxo · 30/11/2019 20:15

I couldn't not test @Blooft I prefer to test it's like mental torture!! You're not out until AF arrives, I'm trying to stick to IC's as the FRER are so expensive xxx

Blooft · 30/11/2019 21:15

@GiraffesAreTheBest @AliSxo I guess we're all different. I really struggled to wait until today. I guess I can't deal with the emotional rollercoaster of what do many seem to go through, with very faint or evap lines and even chemical pregnancies.

I also sometimes wonder if the whole FRER market isn't just exploiting the emotions of desperate people. You buy the early test, then you keep testing every day from a much earlier point and they make a killing.
Anyhoo! You're right to stick to the cheaper ones! I know I'm technically not out until AF starts, but for my own sanity I'm mentally putting it all in a box until next cycle! Fingers crossed for you 🤞💚

AliSxo · 30/11/2019 23:09

@Blooft I'm annoyed with myself, it'd do me the world of good if actually I just waited for AF and didn't get so worked up by the TWW! Xx

Nic555 · 01/12/2019 09:31

@LoveRainbow02 so sorry. I hope you are feeling ok.

Sorry for silence on here i have been on holiday just about to fly back. Went to toilet and sorry if TMI but brown tinged CM gutted im only 10 DPO. Last month i started spotting day 11 month before day 10. Worried i have some kind of luteal phase defect. Although my app doesnt count spotting as AF. Least i dont waste a fortune on tests. I was feeling confident this month as lots of creamy CM which is different to normal months. Gutted xx

MrsTwentySeven · 01/12/2019 09:57

@nic555 couldn’t it be implantation bleeding ? Might not be AF? (I’m always hopeful clearly😂 - I’m still in denial despite my late ovulation and DTD too early ...not giving up until AF is here )

cerios156 · 01/12/2019 10:01

12 DPO today. Going to try and hold out until at least tomorrow, as AF is expected Tuesday.

Had a rather curious symptom yesterday. Was sitting on the bed chatting with DH when I started to feel mild cramps. Suddenly I had this sickening pain that was like the most overwhelming menstrual cramp ever, but just for like three seconds. Afterwards, totally fine.

Doesn't strike me a particularly hopeful sign, but figured I'd share in case anyone has experienced something similar.

Nic555 · 01/12/2019 10:20

@mrstwentyseven id have hope if i hadnt had the same thing a couple of cycles back so i dont think its implantation at all. I seem to be in a bad mood as well but that could just be the disappointment rather than AF. Im more concerned about a short luteal phase than not being pregnant. How many DPO are you?x

Nic555 · 01/12/2019 10:22

@cerios156 that sounds promising. Ive not had anything like that before x

MrsTwentySeven · 01/12/2019 10:24

@nic555 yes that’s true - I think that’s what I’m worried about too having ovulated CD23 or CD24....I’m 6 or 7DPO....AF is technically due tomorrow but my Clue app has postponed it to Dec 9th because of my late ovulation.
I will be worried if it’s on time Confused CM is back like I’m due my AF soon...

Nic555 · 01/12/2019 10:31

@mrstwentyseven 🤞she arrives later for you. Luteal phase is normally the same so im sure it will. Or hopefully not arrive at all. Its so crap isnt it. Always something to worry about. I know in a few days ill be fine
Its never nice being on your period even if you arent TTC x

MrsTwentySeven · 01/12/2019 10:35

@nic555 absolutely - hope you feel better soon :) Let next month be the one for us! Fingers crossed 🤞🏾
AF will definitely arrive for me as we only DTD once 6 days before LH surge 😂 Can you believe there is still hope I’m clinging on to haha

Flossie333 · 01/12/2019 10:55

Hi all, hope you don’t mind me jumping in here. Have never commented on any of these threads, but for the last few months they have provided a great source of comfort reading what other women are going through in real time as I’ve not been pregnant before. I’m really sorry to all of those who haven’t got their BFPs.

Was so sure that this month was going to be it, just felt so different with quite a few symptoms, and my cervix has stayed high. AF hasn’t showed up yet (due tomorrow according to my Clue app) but have done about 4 FRER and all completely negative. Annoyingly still clinging onto hope which is silly as I’m 13 DPO and so know it would show by now if I was. Has anyone had any experience of the FRER not testing positive until later?

Xxxx

AliSxo · 01/12/2019 11:22

Giving up hope, 10dpo and bfn on IC - fed up xx

AliSxo · 01/12/2019 11:32

I'm not testing any more. I'm putting down the pee sticks and I'll let AF arrive or not xx

Blooft · 01/12/2019 11:49

@AliSxo hugs I'm spotting lightly this morning. Five days early if it's AF, and going by my usual cycles (before I had the Mirena coil) starting light is unusual. I always used to come on with a bit of a flood, but maybe that's different now as I've only had one period since I had my coil out and it was quite light anyway.
Arghh! So annoying! But been doing some reading, and it seems that hcg hormone only gets produced once the egg implants, which is usually 10 days at the earliest, so maybe there's still hope this cycle? Even the early response tests won't be able to pick it up before then. If the spotting stops I'll test again tomorrow morning.

AliSxo · 01/12/2019 11:57

@Blooft I'm the same I never used to get spotting before AF she'd arrive in full flow but last period I did get some the day before... it could be implantation? I'm just fed up of testing now it's silly of me and actually I though it helped me with the TWW but it doesn't.... I've got a lovely day planned tomorrow so I won't test as a BFN will ruin my day xxx AF due Thursday for me xx
