December bus - testing first week of december

Hi all,

AF arrived today so thought I would start a new thread....feel free to join.

First cycle since MMC and ERPC on 1st October, following BFP straight after implant removal.

Bit odd for me, first proper AF in a few years.

Hoping this is the month!

@croissantmonster - No advice really but I can relate to feeling a bit ugh and meh about it all and it's only cycle#2 for me!
I mentioned up thread our DD was conceived unexpectedly so this is the first time actually TTC. DH talked a lot about when to start trying in the run up to last month (decided to wait until after we got a particular work event out the way) and we were both definitely really looking forward to having lots of fun DTD 'au-natural' yet now it's not as much fun as we anticipated so far. Sex on schedule is NOT sexy!! There is just so much pressure! I can't stop trying to look for symptoms either - problem is not helped by the fact that I didn't find out i was pg with DD until almost 7 weeks! So I cant even remember if there were any symptoms in the very early days!

A bunch of weird symptoms have cropped up for me, but they seem so strange that I'm hesitant to think they mean anything.

My nose is so stuffy, congested, and runny. I'm sneezing and basically leaving a pile of tissues in my wake wherever I go. It doesn't feel like a cold, more like allergies. But I have no idea what I'd suddenly be allergic to. Also a bit of blood every now and then.

I've also been having...really odd dreams just before waking up. Very vivid sexual dreams which is extremely unusual for me (I'm basically a monk when it comes to dreams).

Has anyone ever experienced stuff like this before a BFP?? I'm about 7/8 DPO at this point (slightly unsure about ovulation day this cycle) so I know it's suuuuper early to be having legit symptoms.

I think I'm officially 3 dpo... I don't know when I ovulated but I think I'm 2-3 dpo.

I will be testing either 3rd or 4th December. Anyone testing around same time?

@cerios156 Vivid dreams were a sign of pregnancy for me. The 3 times I've been pregnant I've only ever tested due to me having very real dreams that I was pregnant and each time its turned out my dreams were true lol. With my only successful pregnancy I had very sexual dreams right up until I gave birth lol. It's crazy!

@LoveRainbow02 Ooo, okay, that makes me feel a bit more hopeful then actually! They could also be because I'm thinking about pregnancy and baby making 24/7 lol, but I prefer the first option :)

@Sunshinexx95 I'll be testing on the 3rd! Period meant to arrive that day, but if it doesn't show I'll be peeing on sticks allll day.

@LoveRainbow02 @cerios156 I have vivid sexual dreams about my DH quite regularly I've never noticed if it's at a particular time of my cycle though I'll have to keep a look out 😂

TWW is the most frustrating thing as PMS symptoms and pg are so similar! I'm 5dpo and all achy around my hips and legs and feeling generally heavy and swollen. Why did I wear a skirt today I feel so frumpy?! I'm cross referencing back to my symptoms from last month 😂. It seems my PMS symptoms stopped at 10dpo last month until cramps started on 12dpo so I'll be looking out for that again!

@oliwc12 thanks, resisting the urge is getting increasingly tough! 10DPO today and as well as a lighter metal taste, backache, sore nips, I had some super super super light pink CM last night for about an hour then it went - and I have SO MUCH CM today - crossing my fingers and toes and everything else for a BFP! I can't really remember for sure, but I think my CM normally dries up before AF? I am determined to hold out testing until Sunday, 15DPO. AF due anytime between today, and Sunday. Keep telling myself if its a BFP it will still be there on Sunday, and the line will be stronger! You can hold out thursday, you've got this!

@whatsthecraic91 sounds good, do you normally have boob pains before AF?

@AtouchofFrenchy oh fab, that's cheered me up :D yes - all the Christmas salmon and drinks is definitely an upside, i'm holding on to that thought if this month is not to be - at least I won't have to be shady with all my colleagues about not drinking at parties!

@LoveRainbow02 I literally don't know :') I wake up in the morning, pee, and then go "RIGHT! YOU'VE USED UP THE FMU, CAN'T TEST TODAY NOW!!" and then spend all day looking longingly at my tests haha! How many DPO are you today?

@Talcott2007 oh wow, 7 weeks!! It's so annoying isnt it, when you are all ready and prepare yourself, it's so complicated! My SIL recently announced she is unexpectedly pregnant, been drinking the whole time (stopped now ofc) but you do think "oh why can't I suddenly just BE pregnant" haha

@cerios156 I have heard that runny/stuffy noses can be a sign, but it is just that time of year unfortunately! Long as its just a tiny bit of blood, could just be bursting some tiny vessels when you blow your nose. Vivid dreams I have also heard is a sign, but its so hard to tell when you are thinking about something 24/7 its inevitable it will pop into your dreams now and then

@waitingformyturn ooh, stopped on the 10th? What PMS symptoms did you have until 10th?

@shuckle - It was a bit of a wild ride last time - Conceived despite taking the MAP with about 2hrs of a condom malfunction - it honestly didn't occur to me I was pg - It was actually DH who suspected first! Also as I didn't even bother writing down my cycle at the time either there was a bit of a panic about exactly pg I was at one point! Once I actually knew I remember thinking it was so bloody obvious it was having all the symptoms by the time a actually tested - classic morning sickness for days beforehand etc!

Did anyone else get the extreme heightened sense of smell as an early symptom? Not sure exactly how early it started but that's the one thing that sticks in my mind symptom wise - most noticeably I'd gag at the smell of DH's Beard - He had to shave it in the end!

Going to be sniffing DH's resurrected face fuzz tonight for sure now just in case!

@AtouchofFrenchy yes 7dpo here and AF due 04 Dec too, this month is 34 day cycle, when usually down to around 30.

Absolutely nothing here and feeling like you, out again. But considering we only really dtd once on ov day I half expected this anyway.

Cm for me is pretty dry, what there is is sticky like prit stick (tmi but might be useful to compare!) and same as all other negative cycles I've had so no change there.

Body temp is consistently high since ov as well so that's all the same.

Month 4 of trying

Sounds like everyone is having a lot of symptoms. I'm not having any apart from one's I am potentially imagining 😂. I'm not too worried though only 5 DPO so plenty of time and have heard plenty of people got their positives the month they had no symptoms. So all is not lost until the witch arrives

@loverainbow02 how many DPO are you now? Sorry I can't see much on your test but it's probably too early. Are your OPK still positive? I did a HCg test this morning just in case I had ovulated a week earlier when I had all the EWCM but not a sign on it. Not surprised considering I got my positive OPK the week after.

I don't have as much CM today but I swear it's potentially because I've been sat down all day. I usually notice more when I'm up walking must be the gravity 😂

@Shuckle no not really the sharp pains are new but my body constantly plays tricks on me! Last month I had the sorest nipples like even my clothes touching them hurt and I wasn’t pregnant 😫 but this afternoon I have had a weird sharp pain out towards me right hip bone - again is probably nothing but it’s really making me want to test in the morning - I have loads of ICs 😓

I'm 11dpo now I think. Just tested after work and I can deffs see a line in person. It's so hard to pick it up on camera though. Waiting a my frers being delivered tonight.

@LoveRainbow02 I can definitely see a line! Especially in the second photo! How exciting! Keep us updated

@loverainbow02 i think i can see a hint of a line on your first and third pic. I cant see any colour though. What day after ovulation does AF usually arrive? Hopefully the frer will pick up a stronger line x

Theres colour in real life but so hard to pick up by camera as its still faint. Af usually arrives 14 days after ovulation but that could be a little off after my mc last month so I dont really know 🤷‍♀️

@loverainbow02 all sounds promising. Test again with FMU and hopefully a stronger line. I've just spent at least an hour reading old threads 🙈. It's my birthday tomorrow and we go away so that'll be a great distraction. Just decided I'm not checking any threads apart from this one from now on 😂 xx

@Shuckle so it depends on the day but a general overview is - pulling pains in/sore abdomen, heavy boobs, achy back/legs, sometimes moody🙄, sometimes a heavy/full uterus feeling, clothes feel tight haha. I read it's normal for them to stop a couple days before af but if they carry on that's a good sign!

@HugeAgeGap I am having sticky pritt-stick cm as well 5dpo.

@Nic555 I am literally the same with cm I have loads when I've been walking around a lot and it always surprises me but unfortunately for me I spend most of the time sat down 😂.

@Nic555 I honestly feel like combining the TWW with time away is the most genius idea ever. Two weeks that feel like they last FOREVER plus a holiday? Ideal.

@cerios156 i wish i could go away every 2ww or when i ovulate. I can tell now why lots of people get pregnant on honeymoon most relaxed i have ever been but we werent trying then.

Fell asleep really early. Not done that in ages but i do go through stages so don't think its a sign. Had a bit of back pain as well but doubt id have noticed it if not the 2WW so dont think that's a sign either 🙈

@LoveRainbow02 I can definitely see a line!! Did you test again this morning?

@whatsthecraic91 No i didn't test this morning and I've ran out. My frers were supposed to arrive last night but courier was running late and now wont get them until today.

@LoveRainbow02 9DPO today, just really want this month to be it - we tried so hard this month DTD so much 😂 started my journey in January and just can’t imagine going into the new year not pregnant - the thought is really making me sad 😔

Try and stay positive. I felt the way you did when I was ttc first time round. Took me 2 years to get pregnant which ended in mc. 4 months later conceived my son. You haven't got long now to test, the waiting really does suck tho! Try and distract yourself. I'm one to talk right enough when I've bee stressing out this tww 😂
