Hi all,

AF arrived today so thought I would start a new thread....feel free to join.

First cycle since MMC and ERPC on 1st October, following BFP straight after implant removal.

Bit odd for me, first proper AF in a few years.

Hoping this is the month!

@MrsTwentySeven I have seen lots of positive OPK that led to pregnancy test but all them people had already had a positive OPK about a week before. I would say cos you've been testing the last ten days you're just ovulating late sorry. I wouldn't worry about a short luteal phase though. Ovulation can vary monthly but luteal phase normally stays the same. So sounds like AF will be due later than usual. Get busy DTD. Good luck xx

MrsTwentySeven · 23/11/2019 10:43

@Nic555 sigh you're right :( Will do! Good luck to you!

meggybug · 23/11/2019 11:27

@Tamalama welcome! I'm 6dpo and AF due 4th Dec. I've been feeling exactly the same as you, including the creamy cm. Thing is before I was TTC I never really took notice of usual symptoms around this time of the month so no idea of its normal for me or not. I don't want to get my hopes up too much as I'm 35 and first cycle of ttc so trying to tell myself it probably won't happen diets time around. But still counting days til I can text!

HugeAgeGap · 23/11/2019 15:06

I would say the creamy cm after ovulation during 2WW is a good sign. I've tracked in the past and after ov mine gets drier and more sticky/gluey and then AF starts! Think if preg more likely to get thicker and creamier than is normal for you x

ceebee21 · 23/11/2019 15:11

@meggybug omg I wish I had taken note to my cycle before TTC I literally have no idea what is normal for me, although I was on the implant without proper AF so makes it even worse! Xx

I'm pretty sure I'm 3dpo. LH surge Monday, small amount of EWCM on Tuesday and low down ovulation pangs on Wednesday morning. BUT I've had copious EWCM both yesterday and today, so I'm wondering whether we should keep DTD - having done it every day for the last 12 days I'd really like a night off! Does EWCM mean you're still fertile until it's all gone? Or can it continue after the fertile window? It's thicker than usual but not creamy at all, just clear jelly like stuff (sorry for tmi!)

Shuckle · 23/11/2019 17:47

@Blooft it sounds promising, I think that @HugeAgeGap is right in that if you're not preg it should start to dry up towards AF. Did you have EWCM at the time you thought you ovulated?

Maybe try having a day off and then DTD tomorrow, if you've been DTD every day for 12 days I think you must have plenty of swimmers waiting 😂 might give sperm a chance to replenish properly

NCON · 23/11/2019 18:06

Hi all, hope you don't mind me joining in!

I'm 30, TTC #1, Cycle 1, approx DPO 7 (tracking with Ovia only), AF due 30th Nov.

So early days, having no symptoms whatsoever but still so tempted to take a first response Hmm going to try hold off till Friday as I know it would most likely be a BFN anyway. Don't feel like this will be my month but can't help myself hoping lol. Did not realise how all consuming this whole TTC can be!

HugeAgeGap · 23/11/2019 18:19

@Blooft I think your similar to me, I had LH surge + on Monday so think ov on Tuesday although I don't feel anything so not to sure but temp rises started Wednesday onwards and now really high so happy I did ov. Don't think I really had any EWCM this month which I think puts me out. I just wondered, if dtd so often (TMI) but I sometimes find it difficult to tell difference with OH stuff and my CM 😉 so perhaps your EWCM could be a mix?? 😂

Blooft · 23/11/2019 18:37

@HugeAgeGap haha possibly, but if I ever saw this stuff coming out of him I think I'd run a mile! Theirs usually isn't clear and stretchy, but maybe 12 days draughts has had a strange effect on it! 😂

I think a few of us ( @meggymeg and @ceebee21 ) are in the same boat regards not knowing what the normal pattern is. I've steed using the Glow app to track everything. Seems really good so far.

Blooft · 23/11/2019 18:41

Also @HugeAgeGap I assume from the name you already have kid/s. How big is your age gap? I'm trying for baby no 2 after 18 years!

Blooft · 23/11/2019 18:48

@NCON welcome aboard the crazy train! I'm also surprised by how all-consuming it is. I'm going to test 5 days before AF due with an early response, so that if it's a BFN I can just get on with life for a couple of weeks before trying again. That's the plan anyway. Hoping I'm strong enough to stick to it!

HugeAgeGap · 23/11/2019 19:00

@Blooft 😂 it is just not right thinking about all this it!! But I know when we've been dtd it gets really difficult to tell either way what's going on down there!

Yes my age gap will be at least eleven years, son is currently 10 :-)

AliSxo · 24/11/2019 00:38

Struggled to follow SMEP plan as I ovulated 2 days after I expected to.. so we DTD a lot this cycle but couldn't do it last night which I get as boyfriends worn out!! We DTD all the days running up to ovulation including on the day, just not the day after... it's hard (no pun intended!) work this ttc!! Well as of Sunday I'm 3dpo so it's going quicker than the wait for ovulation xxx

AliSxo · 24/11/2019 01:12

The hearts below the date are were we've DTD... wanted to do it Friday night but boyfriend said he needed the night off which is fair enough.. just can't help worry that Friday was the best day to to do it, Flo predicted I'd ovulate Tuesday but it was actually Thursday xx

Hitherebaby · 24/11/2019 05:00

Been tracking my OPK since day 8 but this month I'm ovulating exceptionally late. LH has just surge on CD19... normally it's like clockwork on CD15 with a 28-30days cycle. Cycle 1 didn't work so hoping for my BFP this time around in December!

Age 33
Cycle 2
CD (cycle day) 19
TTC (trying to conceive) #1
BFP (big fat positive)/AF due 6 Dec

HugeAgeGap · 24/11/2019 08:59

@AliSxo your Flo calendar looks great (I use Flo too), I wouldn't worry about not doing Friday, you've done enough leading up to and incl ov that I think you've got that perfect this month! x

meggybug · 24/11/2019 11:21

Welcome @Hitherebaby!

Anyone else feeling really nauseous? I was queasy yesterday and feeling sick again today and have thrown up once this morning. Too early for morning sickness? I've also had twinges / cramps. It could be I just have a wee bug but cos it's the 2ww I'm reading into everything!

AtouchofFrenchy · 24/11/2019 11:53

Hello ladies!

How are you all? Any first symptom yet? I should be at 5 DPO and so far nothing at all which clearly depress me... :( I remember my first pregnancy I got heavy watery discharge at 3 and 4 DPO but here nothing.. which doesn't give me much hope.

I am desperate TTC (Cycle 9) and keep having my mind thinking about it, even doing nightmare to not be able to conceive.. How do you do to not think about it? Also I am wondering if any of you started to change their diet? I have pretty healthy diet in general, smoke and drink from time to time (socially) but thinking to stop completely both of them, as well as to change my diet (no coffee, focus on food which increase vitamine d, Progesterone and drink lot of water for fertile CM)... Am I getting mad.....? Any feedback of your own experience would be much appreciated :) xxx

HugeAgeGap · 24/11/2019 12:06

@AtouchofFrenchy we are same dpo and I also have no symptoms whatsoever. I was last preg 10 years ago and wasn't TTC so no idea about anything other than knowing I was preg because my boobs ached for first time in my life, and I was really thirsty!

I'm not to worried about symptoms as it takes around a week for implant, and don't think any symptoms really occur until after that point, so I wouldn't read anything into it at this point, incl CM changes. Mine is dry yday.

I think any changes towards being healthier is fantastic, incl when TTC, so any changes are good for you regardless of TTC or not so go for it :-)

Nic555 · 24/11/2019 12:06

Hi.

I'm only 3 DPO based on my OPK but i did have ovulation signs 10 days ago. I am having creamy CM which I had the day before AF last cycle but not in any previous cycles. I have felt a bit sick since Wednesday but I had a work event Wednesday night and drank far too much gin so it's probably a 3 day hangover 😂

I drank loads of water beginning of this cycle and did make a difference to CM. Although I only noticed lots of EWCM ten days ago and not when I got my positive OPK. Im not really symptom spotting yet too soon after my OPK. Xx

@meggybug @atouchoffrenchy

Xx

AtouchofFrenchy · 24/11/2019 12:07

@meggybug sounds really promising!!! Fingers crossed you get the BFP at the end of the month. :) When your symptoms started? xxx

meggybug · 24/11/2019 12:14

@AtouchofFrenchy I've been feeling shattered and crampy for a few days but nausea started yesterday (6 dpo). Hoping it's a good sign! I also look unusually pale with bags under eyes (OH thought I had smudged makeup and made a joke, and was shocked to find out it was actually the colour of bags under my eyes right now 😂😂)

LoveRainbow02 · 24/11/2019 12:15

Opks are remaining dark for me but negavite hpt 😔. Tww sucks!!

@Nic555 Gin hangovers are the worst 😂

LoveRainbow02 · 24/11/2019 12:17
