apart from Claire who is exempt for holiday reasons, who else in our group is waiting for a BFP?

I am ok, i seem to have swapped the endless faigue for terrible indigestion and heartburn lol - i am still tired - but feel btter uf i sleep for 10hrs a night - only thing is I dont really sleep beause of the indigestion!!! so i have to have my dinner by 4pm!!!! i think I can feel kicks though

@Luxoire Rennies do orange flavour indigestion tablets. I used to pretend they were my pudding with DS. This pregnancy is so different though, not much bloating or indigestion yet, plenty of fatigue and nausea though x

We're back in the UK 😢😩 landed at Gatwick at 6 now heading home slowly.
Was an amazing holiday with lots of memories.
Debating now when to start trying again as neither of us got bitten 😮 no idea how - the deet must have worked!

@claireb707 can a blood test identify it? Then maybe know for definite x

@claireb707 we were in Florida in August but Zika virus was low risk we still tried.
What I can not understand they recommended women to wait 3 months before trying but men 6 months. So what happens to the men and women who are living in those areas. Do they just get pregnant and then hope for the best they dont catch it or do they get immunized. (Dont think they can tho)

The virus can survive for longer in sperm than it can in the body...

I also think that once you have had zika you can't get it again (therefore immune). But yes the people living over there do just try and hope for the best 😢

And it's 2 months now for women only or 3 months if just male or both partners

Hi everyone! I think I'm back 😊 sorry for the long absence, I was having a tough time so we stopped trying. But I'm feeling lots better and we have officially "tried" this month 😂😂 so we shall see, I think if not successful we will likely wait as we dont want a Nov, Dec baby ideally.
Anyway, I'm sure if missed loads of news while iv been away? And hopefully lots of bfps? How are you all?? xxx

It's all gone a bit quiet here... But
@Zm2019 and myself have added to the groups bfp! My dates put me in my 6th week, due about 2nd September. Bit of a shock as we werent trying yet! The sickness is just kicking in properly the last few days... Constant nausea. Ahh.

@MrsSkr fingers crossed this is your month. Nothing happened when we properly tried. Only happened when were relaxed not keeping timings on the dates.
@pieandpumpkins I have my first midwife appointment in the morning, I know it's only paperwork but I am so excited. We decided against getting an early scan and hope for the best at the 12 week scan. I am still sore boobs and tiredness. I feel nausea sometimes but think that's down to hunger more than anything. Did you due date change ?

@zm2019 the first appointment is reassuring in a strange way though. Its nice to feel like you're making progress. How many weeks are you? You are so lucky not to be nauseous! It's always practically my first symptom... From 6 weeks to about 16, all day long! 😭
I haven't had a scan yet, my predicted due date is just calculated by the first day of my last period.

I've done lots of research and we have decided that as neither of us got bitten the risk to us and potential bubba is so low that we are going to carry on trying.
Consequently I got a solid smiley this morning so we are back on 😁

Ladies!!! I think I'm pregnant! I'm only 9 dpo but woke feeling sick and have a second line on 2 tests. I'm shaking like a leaf!!!!!!

Thank you both 😊 I was in a bit of shock this morning, fully expected a -ve test. I didn't know how to feel when it was +ve but now I'm over the shock I am happy...still a bit terrified but happy. Sorry I havnt been here much lately, hope you are all well? xx
