@CooperLooper tbh, I was on the point of giving up... so frustrating.

I am happy, not just for ov, but also as it's happening after the MMC... it will be 3 weeks tomorrow since, so don't think that is too bad giving what has happened.

I guess either way I will be ok with BFP or AF, just so I know my body is sort of back to normal.

Longest TWW ever xx

SallyCinnamon3009 · 21/10/2019 16:55

Can I join?

TTC #2
AF due 9th November
Cycle 2
Had the implant removed in august and had a chemical pretty much straight away so definitely not testing early again.

Been obsessed with apps, OPKs and mumsnet this month 🙊 (oh and DTD) hopefully this will pay off

Had a positive OPK yesterday so I'm guessing that would mean OV today?

Fingers crossed for everyone

CooperLooper · 21/10/2019 16:56

@ceebee21 yeah. Good on you for persevering though as it's paid off and you trusted your instinct 😊 you're right 3 weeks isn't so bad considering. What's your testing date again?

I've bought some cheapie OPKs off Amazon that got delivered today, I just can't bring myself to pay for CB digital again at this stage when I don't know whereabouts in my cycle I am so 🤞🏻

CooperLooper · 21/10/2019 16:57

@SallyCinnamon3009 hi Sally welcome!

I've had my implant out recently too, no sign of AF and literally zero symptoms of anything at all. How long did it take for AF to appear for you?

ceebee21 · 21/10/2019 17:00

@CooperLooper I've spent a fortune on them... annoying, when I came off my implant I only used a few, but this time I have used so many!!

I agree with you not to do any more this month... especially as you have stopped doing them... fingers crossed AF/BFP isn't too far away for you though.

Well, i'm just going 2 weeks from today, so 4th November; pretty sure last time I tested 2 weeks after the static and had a BFP, so if I can hold off, I will try to!

x

SallyCinnamon3009 · 21/10/2019 17:07

@CooperLooper I had it out on 14th August and think AF showed up around the 9th or 10th. Was getting fair positives that got stronger a few days before which I'm guessing was a chemical.

Seem to have settled down to a regular cycle which was good as it was a bit all over the place on the implant as well

CooperLooper · 21/10/2019 17:08

@ceebee21 they're so expensive! Why a cheaper brand that does the same hasn't come out yet I just don't know 😔

Going away will be a great distraction from you, lucky you! I'm the 5th so just a day behind you x

ceebee21 · 21/10/2019 17:14

@CooperLooper I know - defo get them on Amazon, they are a lot cheaper then Boots and Sainsbury's etc. Also, best getting the 20 pack as much better value.

Yes, can't wait and pleased that this has happened beforehand!

We then have American family over visiting next week, so am off Thursday Friday next week - one day with them, and then the other my sisters wedding... so a lot going on x

CooperLooper · 21/10/2019 17:32

@ceebee21 sounds like a lot of fun 😊 love a good wedding

@SallyCinnamon3009 so around 3 weeks for you then, guess I need to be a bit more patient in waiting for AF then. I didn't have periods at all in the years I had mine in. Sorry to hear you got a chemical 😔

SallyCinnamon3009 · 21/10/2019 17:34

@CooperLooper thank you xx

Yeah it was about three weeks but I did have them throughout having the implant in just not very regular. It's awful isn't it waiting for the first one as you feel like you can't start tracking etc properly. I'm sure she'll turn up soon xx

CooperLooper · 21/10/2019 18:22

Fingers crossed for you @SallyCinnamon3009 🤞🏻 are you going to test on a particular date?

Peachyx2505 · 21/10/2019 18:50

@Tamalama I'm on this bus lovely xxx

Tamalama · 21/10/2019 19:50

Cheers for the add @Peachyx2505 😊

Nic555 · 21/10/2019 19:58

I can't keep up with all the messages on here now. Our bus is getting full.

It's seems most of us don't think we DTD enough this month. I've got my positive cap on today though and thinking it'll mean better sperm. Im sure I read somewhere if your OH has poor motility that less is better. Not that mine has any issue that I know of but just incase.

I'm going to try and enjoy the TWW this time as no point stressing over it and I definitely will not be obsessed with checking my cervix 🙈😂

I should just be happy that my cycles are back to normal and I've ovulated early again I was panicking a couple of months ago. I always said I wanted to be pregnant by Christmas after getting married in May but i've come to terms with the fact that if I'm not it doesn't matter its taken time for my body to get back to normal.

Anyone else got any positive thought's or things they're gonna do different this TWW

Xx

Not sure who asked about CB stick but I usually get my static on the 4th day of testing.

12goldstars · 21/10/2019 20:36

Can I join too? More out of hope than expectation.
TTC #3
Cycle 1
AF due 6th November
Dtd yesterday. Pretty sure ovulation is in the next day or so as I have the usual mild cramping. Not sure though and I could be imagining it. Plus periods aren’t particularly regular due to breastfeeding. Unfortunately I’m away with dc for half term now so that was the one and only try this month. Hopefully the one time will be enough!

SallyCinnamon3009 · 21/10/2019 21:13

@CooperLooper AF due on 9th and I also going away for the night for my friends birthday so I'm gonna try and just hang on until then. Got a spare test left in a drawer so figured I could hang onto it and not waste it by testing early.

wannabebump · 21/10/2019 22:05

I'm off this bus already, fertile week and husband isn't feeling well, doesn't want to baby dance. First month after 3 month wait after miscarriage, so upset 😢

Good luck to everyone else x

Tamalama · 21/10/2019 22:06

Hi all, these are my stats.
TTC #2
Age 38
Cycle 7
AF due 3rd November

I'm 1dpo today (I think.) I got my static smiley on Saturday and ov twinges that evening. What with one thing or another we only managed to dtd on Saturday. Plans to dtd yesterday and today went out the window. Prior to dtd on Saturday we hadn't done it for the last two weeks what with hubby having an operation, af arriving, I've not been well, etc. Dtd on Saturday was our only shot for this month so I know how you feel @12goldstars! I'm hoping it just takes that one time for it to happen 🤞

Tamalama · 21/10/2019 22:10

Don't feel like you're out @wannabebump. If you're in your fertile week then you'll have a good few days in which to dtd? Hopefully your hubby won't be ill all week?
I'm sorry to hear of your miscarriage, I had one in mid January. We left it a few months before trying again, I naively thought I'd fall pregnant again straight away 😕

SallyCinnamon3009 · 22/10/2019 07:04

So just rechecked my app and as I'm back on a 28 day cycle AF due on 4th and not 9th so don't have as Kong to wait to test 😃

Now can't decide whether to test first thing in 4th or leave it till 5th 🤔

omikron · 22/10/2019 07:06

Static smiley today and dtd at 5am... probably will dtd tomorrow too.

Charts are saying I haven't ovulated yet, maybe tomorrow or Thursday

@ceebee21 ah I know you’re right! Venice sounds amazing, enjoy your tww!

@Nic555 I’m also feeling positive 🙂 We’ve done what we could and as it’s mostly down to luck anyway!

I’ve ovulated a bit late so am pushing my test date back if I don’t get AF.
I am not going to test early!! (Repeat to self)

Ellsbells112 · 22/10/2019 07:21

Hey guys can I join??
I'm 27 ttc number two 8 years later! This will be my third month so smooched over from October bus.
I'm fertile starting 30th October! Hoping this month will be the month I cant stand the feeling when AF comes I just want to cry every time! I hope you're all okay, anyone fertile around the same time? I think I ovulate around the 2nd November

Peachyx2505 · 22/10/2019 07:31

Predicted ov over here is on my birthday..... might try and just dtd Fri,Sat,Sun and Mon (birthday) and see if that works out 😂 Also going to start opk today's as I normally start them too late... 🤦🏻‍♀️

@Ellsbells112 my DS is 7 in December.... big age gap but I think he would love to be a big brother! Xx

ItsAlwaysSunnyInPhiladelphia · 22/10/2019 07:52

Hey ladies.
Hope you are all doing good.
I’m feeling a bit rough atm. I need somewhere to vent and you all seem lovely and I think this is a safe place.
I think I’ve just ovulated, or it’s very imminent. I had my positive OPK last night.
DH couldn’t perform Sunday night and made it very clear he didn’t want to DTD last night. So I’m hanging on Fridays so now I’m hanging on the fact that sperm can live for up to 4 days.
I just feel like shit because I know in my heart of hearts that that is very unlikely and I’m out before TTW has even begun.
Last night I was just silently crying trying to get to sleep because I just felt so overwhelmed and disappointed. I know it’s not DH’s fault; but it’s really hard not to resent him and I’m worried that this TTC shit and calculated sex is having a negative effect on our relationship.
It’s just so hard. I think about being pregnant day, night, sleeping. Just daydreaming that someday it will happen to me but it just seems impossible.
I am looking ahead to next cycle already. I don’t want to use my OvuSense, I don’t want to carry on using it this cycle as it just becomes obsessive. I’m just thinking about getting CB OPKs so I don’t have to look at those green sticks every time I pee. I don’t want DH to resent me because we have to DTD ‘again’ and I will get secretly upset if it doesn’t go to plan.
It’s hard ladies. I hate this. I guess I will try try try not to obsess over symptom spotting in the next 2 weeks but we all know that’s near on impossible. At least one positive I can take from this cycle is that DH and I DTD 3 times in one week. I now know when I am ovulating at around CD 18, so I can start mass DTD later in my cycle as I think that that was the issue this month in that we started to early and DH just ran out of steam.
I hope you are all having much more luck that me this month. Xx
