I saw a post like this on a non conception board and thought it was quite funny and cathartic so I thought I’d start one.

I’ve got a whole bag of “up yours” to the trying to conceive process. Who wants one?! I’ll start.

Up yours to 10 months of ttc #2 and everyone telling me it’s quicker the second time around as your body knows what to do.

Up yours to indent lines on one step tests and frer’s

Up yours to people telling me to “relax and it will happen”.

Up yours to the age gap which is quickly getting bigger and bigger between DS1 and potential DC2.

That’s me done.

Up yours to "you're more fertile after a mc" well I'm not, it was 6 months ago and I'm yet to fall pregnant again.

A more lighthearted one today but up yours to reading the news about Ricky Martin's fourth baby and thinking 'wow, two men are better at making babies than me'! 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Up yours to being cycle day 2 on my second period since my second mc this year and it being really fucking painful and another reminder that I'm even further away from where I want to (and should) be.

Up yours to people assuming your pregnant just because you don’t feel like drinking alcohol or are a bit tired in the evening. OHs parents are the worst for it, I’m sure they offer me a drink every time we visit just to test to see if I am or not. I feel like they’re expecting us to announce something every time we see them.

Completely with you on that one Banoffee. I almost never drink and people still look at me all expectantly when I order a coke. I ALWAYS order coke!!

I'll def agree and repeat a few., I'm now about 6 cycles in but 40.. so time isn't on my side...

Up yours to hanging on in a job i dont enjoy for the mat benefits
up yours to knowing that same job might be part of the reason i've not conceived yet: SUPER STRESSY
up yours to constantly getting UTI's from all that 'ttc' Activity (on antibiotics and been in bed all day today)
up yours to daily BBT testing and peeing on a stick to test LH levels
up yours to the 30 year old temp who found out she was 5 months pregnant and hadnt even been trying......

that feels better!!

Up yours to the slight smudge on the HPT I took on Saturday that got my hopes up no matter how firm I was with myself that it was probably an evaporation or indent line.

Up yours to the beginnings of AF today.

1. Indent lines
2. Ink on IC's
3. Not being able to change jobs because of TTC

Up yours to the conversation being back on pregnancy again at work because smug colleague is nearly going on maternity leave.

Up yours to the same smug colleague loudly expressing how she is going to be a perfect parent when others aren’t.

Up yours to the same smug colleague being pissed off because someone isn’t coming to her baby shower (cringe!) because they have a friend’s birthday party. Her words were: “If that’s more important to them then screw them!” THE WORLD DOES NOT REVOLVE AROUND YOU!!!

Up yours to yet another cycle. Up yours to my periods getting more random, longer and more painful.
Up yours to running out of space in the baby clothes cupboard - I kept everything from DD when she grew out of it “to use for the next one”. Now she’s 3 and I’m running out of space in the cupboard.

Mate. A big fucking up yours to the girl I have been talking with for 2 days who was going on so impatient and how shes so sick of this and god she just needs to know now if she is or not and LOW AND BEHOLD it's her first bloody month trying!! And positive at 8dpo!!!! You don't know what impatient is love!!! Or waiting for that matter! Urghhhhh

Up yours to OH having a horrible cold right bang in the middle of ovulation time for me and not sure if I should even bother mentioning DTD. Now thinking well if we’re quick maybe he won’t manage to sneeze all over me and what position is best so I’m as far away from his cold as possible 🤣. If it wasn’t for all this TTC stuff I wouldn’t even be thinking about going near him haha!

Up yours to booking our first GPs appointment to try and work out what’s going on. Up yours to the receptionist just doing her job and asking what the appointment is for. Up yours for having to say in a small voice ‘it’s been nearly a year and nothings happened yet’.

Up yours to remembering how I thought I’d definitely be pregnant - or even have a baby - by Christmas when we started.

I’ve decided if I’m not pregnant by January that I’ll be going to my doctor. January will be a year since my EMC. I fear I will be turned away before then as I already have a DD and I went to my doctor about the EMC.
