TTC September 2019 Train

Hi all

I don't know if TTC trains are done on Mumsnet or not but I've had a bit of a search and I can't see any like this, so thought I'd start one. Hope it's not a duplication of any other threads.

If you have never been on a TTC train before, it's basically a place for us to share our TTC journey and look forward to our test days together.

Comment below with your test date and I will add you to the train. You can still join the train if you aren't sure if your test date too.

Did AF arrive? I too like to plan the small things to look forward to - while the child sleeps - he’s almost 3 and seems like he wants to drop his nap but I’m like no way!

Congratulations to everyone who had their bfp! I m on 11 dpo tested this morning and got bfn. Feeling very tired tho and sometimes nauseous. Af due Monday so will test again then.

No AF yet @Delphinidin. I feel like my body is playing a very cruel trick on me though as my boobs are really sore, I feel sick and getting different cramps to what I usually get pre AF. (I never usually get any of those signs). However as the First Response Test was negative yesterday I'm convinced that it's sensitive enough that if I was pregnant it would have been positive. The only far reaching hope is that I ovulated very late and therefore it was too soon even for the first response test to pick up.... or I'm one of the 1% it doesn't detect... but seems unlikely! Plus I think if I was "pregnant enough" to be feeling signs it should logically be enough to show up on a test. But we shall see

Completely agree re the naps- my DS is nearly 2 and has days where he doesn't nap (and is also a very poor sleeper in general) so I make the most of every minute I get! 😂

I gave in and tested with a FRER this morning and am still none the wiser... I think I saw a v v v fl but I couldn't tell if it was an Eap or had any colour to it so 🤷🏻‍♀️ I'm 13dpo if the apps are to be believed so I would have thought it would show up by now. Haven't been temping this week as we were ok hols and I was trying to take the week off but wish I had now!! I will have to wait a couple more days and see what happens but trying to keep my hopes low!!

@SMiles14 @pottypotamus Thank you! It’s exciting… but also anxiety-inducing. Just trying to relax. Hope things work out well for you both. @pottypotamus Did you test again?

I stupidly did another frer today and there wasn't even a faint line... I'm actually a day further on than I thought too, 15dpo and have loads of wet cm! Super confused. I have no more tests in the house so will definitely wait a couple more days before testing again! This is second cycle after mmc so maybe my body is just getting back to normal. We shall see...!

AF arrived this morning, I'm out :) good luck to everybody. Xxx

I know exactly what you mean, it's a terrifying time especially when you have no control over what's happening in your own body.

I did test again and the BFP haven't been getting any darker. Still no sign of AF. I saw GP who did a test and saw a very obvious line but not super dark and told me it was negative

Saw no idea what to think now. Just going to step away from testing for a bit and see if AF turns up. If it doesn't by Weds, I'll test again.

Thought I could see something on this test yesterday then I couldn't. Think I'll take that as a bfn x

Here's my OPKS from the last couple days. Cycle day 29 now and af due Wednesday. Not done a hpt again since that one yesterday. Will do another tomorrow morning. Anyone had this before?

@SMiles14 Sorry to hear about your MMC. You should hopefully receive an answer in the next few days. I hope it’s the one you want. Until AF arrives there’s reason to hold onto hope. And even if she does arrive you can then hope for the following month.

@pottypotamus Sorry to hear that. Did your doctor give any kind of explanation for the anomaly? I think your plan is a good one. By Wednesday you should hopefully know either way. Will think of you at that time.

@Mich2020 that's what happened to me with my hpt yesterday! I haven't tried OPKs yet, I have heard that they can pick up both lh and hcg but they aren't as sensitive as hpts for picking up pregnancy so it's weird you had lines on them and not hpt. I hope you get an answer soon!!! This is so frustrating!

@SMiles14 it is very frustrating isn't it. Yes I've heard that too but I've also read that people have had positive OPKS before hpt just don't know what to think anymore. This is a cheapy test from Friday morning, I thought I could see something on this one too but then with the frer yesterday I got all confused 😐 what dpo are you at? Xx

Well I just got my answer, was literally about to try an opk haha and af has arrived!
Oh well, can start again and I'm glad to see my cycles are 30days again.

Hoping I can join...
I've been on and off of MN since I started TTC.
This is my 11th cycle and I'm on CD 19
AF is due 24th September but hopefully it won't arrive!

I had a positive test back at the end of June but resulted in a chemical. Had HCG in my body for 5 weeks and didn't realise it would take so long for it to leave my body so was still showing positive on a pregnancy test at the beginning of August. Went to the doctors for blood tests and we just checked over 48hrs that the hormone was reducing which it was, so I think my body is finally back to normal.

I look forward to seeing hopefully lots of positive results this month on the chat as it gives me hope it will be my turn one day!

I won't be testing until after AF is due x

AF just arrived for me, better early than late I guess.

I am currently 9dpo. Yesterday at 8dpo I had af type cramps but a bit mild, also coupled with lower back pains which never happens this early before af. I also have sore boobs especially my nipples. Trying not to get my hopes up as it is the 9th month of ttc. Any ladies experienced this before getting a bfp?

Oh I forgot to mention that the af type cramps have disappeared today

@DaniellaS I have no symptoms whatsoever that indicate early pregnancy or period and I'm 3 days away usually have sore boobs and cramps constantly. But nothing 🤷🏻‍♀️ not sure whether to take it as a good sign or not. Will be testing with fmu tomorrow. When do you plan on testing? X

@Mich2020 I'm planning on testing at 13dpo, as I have had my fair share of bfns at 10/11 dpo. Very nerve wrecking I must say. I keep on praying for af not to show up every day lol
