TTC September 2019 Train

Hi all

I don't know if TTC trains are done on Mumsnet or not but I've had a bit of a search and I can't see any like this, so thought I'd start one. Hope it's not a duplication of any other threads.

If you have never been on a TTC train before, it's basically a place for us to share our TTC journey and look forward to our test days together.

Comment below with your test date and I will add you to the train. You can still join the train if you aren't sure if your test date too.

Got my crosshairs on ff today it's weird how proud that makes me feel haha! Had a decent temp rise this morning, ff and glow have put O on Saturday when I got my pos opk which makes sense, my temps since then have been above coverline, just slowly rising until Today's jump.
Feeling good about this month, we definitely covered all fw bding! I'm exhausted!

Hi, can I join please, ttc baby two. Had chemical pregnancy last month, we weren't trying but made us realise we are ready to try for baby 2.
I'm 3dpo (I think)
So gonna try and wait until af is due to test! Hmmm, not sure that's gonna happen! 😂
So test date for me is weds 18th!

Hi @Nicecupofcoco sorry to hear about your chemical apparently you are extra fertile after a chemical so fingers crossed you will fall pregnant again this month

@mrssunshinexxx aww thank you! Yes, but the positive I take from it is it made us feel ready to try again, which is good, as I was very much on the fence before.
Oh good we might end up testing together!😂 Will this be your first pregnancy? I have ds already, aged two!
Do you think you will test early? Im hoping not too, but it gets very tempting doesn't it?
Yes, I heard more fertile too, so fingers crossed. But had some very strange bleeding around ovulation this month, I never have that, so maybe my cycles still abit out of whack after chemical. So I'm expecting af around 18th but who knows! Xx

TTC #2, been trying for 4 months now. AF due on 14th so I'll be testing on the 13th. With our DS it took until I was 5 days late to get a positive result so I'm assuming I'll have to wait a while to be put out of my misery this month!

We were v lucky with our first as it was literally our first month of trying... so I'm trying to get used to the idea of having to be patient every month that goes by with no BFP! 🤦🏻‍♀️

@Nicecupofcoco no I am not an early tester I did it on first month and the disappointment was crushing I will definitely be waiting I will encourage you too also

Will be second pregnancy but 1st baby I am soooo ready month 6 and to have a June baby is my absolute perfect month so I'm crossing everything x

@mrssunshinexxx yes might need some encouragement not to test! 😂

So sorry to here about your loss. That's very sad. Its so tough isn't it.
Ttc is much harder than they have you believe in secondary school isn't it! 😂

@mrssunshinexxx just been using the internet cheapies opks... The one step from amazon. How about you?
I have a few of the one step pregnancy tests too, and a boots own brand digital left over from last month, might have to ask dh to hide them as the days go on! 😂

@Nicecupofcoco yes get him to hide them 😂

I use clear blue opks only been using them for last 2 months tho before that was just going off the flow app which I realised was. It accurate this is the first month I actually feel like I could get pregnant as dh works offshore and he's been around for all of fertile period for the first time this month so I'm crossing everything that it's worked !

I have one clear blue test in the house but I won't use it early xx

@mrssunshinexxx brilliant, I really hope this is your month! Sounds promising!
We only dtd three times during fw, just not feeling very hopeful this month as I'm not sure if we left it alittle too late, as we didn't start until I got the positive opk. Fingers crossed though.

@Nicecupofcoco It is SO much harder than they have you think! I get why they tell you it's so easy at that age but maybe we should all have another lesson when we are like 22 and actually thinking sensibly where they tell you the truth!!

I have 2 FRERs still in their amazon box at home that I didnt use last month. Luckily I am on holiday from 9th - 13th and 14th is when af is due so I should be able to keep from testing early.

@Nicecupofcoco we only did 4 but 3 on the run up and one the day after my static smiley showing ovulation

Oh brilliant, that's perfect timing then! Hopefully you'll have a lovely relaxing time away, and then will come home and get your bfp!

@mrssunshinexxx aw sounds promising with your timings. That's what we didn't do, the run up to the positive opk, well we did the night before if you'd count that, then the night of and night after. Oh well just have to hope, nothing more I can do about it now! positive thoughts.

Ooh I am so excited for the testing to start!

@mrssunshinexxx the clearblue opks are so expensive but are so much more convenient aren't they. I have a box of 20 digitals which I'm saving for when my cycle has stabilised. At the moment I'm using internet cheapies (I hate having to dip though ugh) but my cycle is all over the place. I don't even think I'm going to have a test date for this train at the moment argh!!!

@Dav87 only a few days till you test! (eeeek)

Are you getting any symptoms at all?

@charliebb they are expensive but I only seem to use 3 a cycle one day for low one for flashing then the static so feel quite lucky that way

Had a miscarriage in June & chemical pregnancy in July.
Allowed for a period last month so hoping it happens this time. ❤️
So desperate for a positive pregnancy test, it's all I think about since previous losses 😢 xxx
