Hi ladies recognise some names from August thread
September is a good time for new beginnings so lots of positivity and BFP for us all

Age: 38 (turn 39 in 16 days!)
TTC (trying to conceive): #1
Cycle #2
CD (cycle day) 9

My cycles are 28 days last one last weekend was short and not very heavy so think body is still adjusting to coming off pill at end of June.

Great news for though who have had their peak 😁 I'm still holding out for mine..... I have 3 fertility apps (because I'm obsessed lol) one says I should have O'd yesterday, one says I O today and one says I should O tomorrow! I have used OPK 3 times a day for last 7 days and still no peak, or anything that I could even squint at and pretend there is something there! I dont know if I have missed my peak or its going to be late. I feel like we are just DTD blindly with no hope 😣 x

@mrslaurenbrown the exact same thing happened to me last month. I started spotting on CD22 on a usually religious cycle of 28 days. It was that unusual that I thought it could have been implantation bleeding but like you when I woke up I had the mother of all AF. Now I dont know if I will have a regular 28 day cycle again or a shorter one. It really is awful and confusing how our bodies work sometimes....... fingers crossed for you and everyone else this month x

@Carolba keep dtd every day or every other and you will be covering all bases.

Dh has left for work we dtd before he left will try to tomorrow night worse case tues night due to ovulate tomorrow or tues had flashing smiley today

Oh @Mrssunshinexxx I really hope this is your month 👍😁. I would DTD every day but I'm worried that I might not O for ages and I dont want to wear my poor darling OH out and deplete his supplies if we are not in with a fighting chance ..... but on the other hand I dont want to miss a day if that day could be the one. I suppose theres no point worrying too much, O will happen when (if) it happens so if we have to DTD every day until AF comes then at least we know we tried our best ... but here's hoping AF doesn't come and September is a lucky month for all of us 😁 x

Good to see some flashing smiles @Tamalama and @mrssunshinexxx! Mine arrived on Friday so we DTD then and will tonight too. Expecting peak around Tues or Wed based on previous months. OH mentioned the other day that he was surprised we hadn't got pregnant yet and is showing much more interest. I'm getting the pre-seed out this month!

@Fredthespider that's exciting do you normally ovulate 5 days after flashing smiley? Last month I had one day flashing next day static I don't know what's normal and what's not ?!

My hubby said last month when I said my period had come was the first month he felt sad it hadn't happened :( I hope it happens this month xx

@mrslaurenbrown I'm planning every other day too as long as I can get DH on board! It's not easy to keep it casual at that frequency

@Tamalama @Sophieb15 so got my static just now :) same day as last month don't know if that's a good thing or not.
Not got any ovulation pains yet which I usually get all day.
Will try to dtd tonight without telling dh it's 'the' day

@Carolba strange isn't it! In a sense I am pleased to have a shorter cycle as if it isn't the month I'd rather know sooner rather than later but it's a nightmare ttc without consistency in cycles!

@Firstimer703 I know what you mean. I think dh was relieved when af came so he could have a break we seem to have gotten used to the routine now though which is good. I hope we can keep it up to give us the best chance possible!

@mrssunshinexxx Ahh yay! Good luck! I have no idea what's happening because I ran out of clearblue sticks. Used a cheapie but the line was faint, I thought it would have been at least a little bit strong due to getting a flashing smiley yesterday.

Dtd last night and will aim for tonight, tomorrow and Thursday. X

This weekend my husband says he doesn't think we are DTD enough to get pregnant. When I asked him why he thought that he said 'I thought you had to do it like twice a day'. I have no idea what planet he is on and I'm bloody knackered from this!!

@Tamalama hmm that's why I think the more expensive ones are better but you know you had flashing yesterday so you wil ovulate in the next few days worse case keep busy until your hubby goes away I have everything crossed for you xx

@mrssunshinexxx that's good that you've hit a nice pattern of one flashing and then static, also helps keep the cost down! When I was TTC number 1 I had 6 days of flashing and we caught on the first cycle (so lucky!) this time around I can't remember how many the first cycle, but last cycle was 4 days of flashing. Today is day 4 of flashing for the latest cycle so we'll see where we end up.

@Fredthespider that's a good way to think of it I suppose but I worry that it's only high for one day before hopefully it's all ok x

@mrssunshinexxx whoo hoo. So your OH is around tonight? what about tomorrow morning? tomorrow night?

I've decided not to do any O tests this month and just work off my O pains, really taking it easy this cycle

@Tamalama DTD tonight tomor and thurs should have you covered. What CD are you today? x

@Sophieb15 he will be back tonight but could be a late one so not sure I will get him on board so to speak ! Worse case will do tomorrow morn or tomorrow night and hope that will be ok
We have been having sex in the close run up which we have never been able to do before so hoping that will help massively
Haven't got any ovulation pains yet which I usually notice as they are very painful for a day... xx

@mrssunshinexxx tell him wake you up or else get tomorrow morning and tomorrow night in make the most out of today and tomorrow and you have every avenue covered then!!! xx

@Sophieb15 I'm definitely going to try my best for tonight and tomorrow just don't want him to end up not wanting to do either with too much pressure I haven't told him I have had the static and not going to.

I can't believe he's actually been home to cover it this month goddddd let it happen

Can I jump on the September bus as I have AF on 26th September so a super long wait for me. Sending all the baby dust to September for everyone xxx

@mrssunshinexxx just try make it interesting without letting him know.
I've just told my OH we have to do every day if possible from CD 12 on wards xx

@mrssunshinexxx Yeah I agree the more expensive ones are better but I ran out of clearblue sticks yesterday and couldn't really afford to buy anymore this month. I'm just going to test every morning and evening with cheapies until Thursday. Good luck for this month 😊 I think it's a good thing you've not told your other half about the static smiley.

@Sophieb15 Yep just going to dtd tonight, Tuesday and Thursday and just hope I ovulate at some point in between! I've had cramping off and on today but no cm whatsoever, even though I got flashing smiley yesterday.

I guess it's out of my hands this week with DH going away for 9 days as of Friday...

@Tamalama I think by Friday you will have this month done and dusted I really do.
In previous months how many flashing days do you get before a static ?

@Sophieb15 god I couldn't say that to him he would just say no 😂 I am gunna get inventive tonight tho!!
