november90 · 24/09/2019 15:40

@mumofbun symptoms only really started at 6 weeks. I've had a few very sickly days and I'm always shattered and ready for bed by 9 now! I don't normally get much in the way on pms so I think I must deal with crazy hormones quite well! My boobs are normally very soar in the morning but not too bad during the day. They are very swollen though which is refreshing after what 1.5 years of breast feeding left me with 😂

Rose87777 · 24/09/2019 15:58

Thanks @kwazycupcakes and @november90 Smile

@november90 - AF due 30th sept my app says! How are you doing, any symptoms yet?

theotherfossilsister · 24/09/2019 16:00

Hey all, checking back in after a break for sanity. Glad to see some bfps and sorry about the afs and negative tests. Am due AF on Saturday, and determined not to test this month as it hurts too much to see a negative.

Also, am in rural France visiting my parents - my Dad has pancreatic cancer and I was desperate to see him hold my first baby, but looking less likely every month. At least I can't buy pts here without driving twenty miles.

Wishful30 · 24/09/2019 19:26

Hi there 😀
I wonder if the ladies who already have babies could share their personal experience on 'spotting' or ' implantation bleeding'

Having had an early mc November last year, I'm very paranoid. Also unexplained infertility.
I told my husband once af was over a week late. I then had a mc the next day.
I had a positive test but I don't remember it being as dark as this.
I got back from my holiday yesterday and tested with some cheap tests. It's positive. I was so shocked!!!
I've had brown discharge since yesterday (sorry tmi) which has increased today. I'm also a bit crampy on and off.
So I tested just now after a long day at work with a Superdrug cheap test.. that's the picture.
Could the cramping and discharge actually just be implantation bleeding or am I heading for mc do you think? (You can be brutal, it's ok)
Really appreciate your advice, and sorry for such a long post xx

Rose87777 · 24/09/2019 19:39

@Wishful30 that’s a blazing positive isn’t it, when was your AF due? With my first DD I tested positive on the day my period was due then 2 days later I spotted brown for a few days which I was told was just old implantation bleeding making its way out. I actually had more bleeding at 6 weeks ish as well and because it was accompanied by pain they sent me for an early scan (where we saw tiny heart beat and all was fine)

Wishful30 · 24/09/2019 19:46

@Rose87777
Af was due last Thurs/Friday.
My last 2 cycles have been early and light due to an ibd flare up. So when she was late I wasn't fussed.
But felt a bit queasy on Sunday. So once we got home from holiday yesterday I tested. Can't believe it!! Can't believe how strong that line is!!
My boobs have been hurting a bit today so I'm taking that as a good sign. It's the cramping that's bothering me 🤷🏻‍♀️

november90 · 24/09/2019 19:56

@Wishful30 congratulations!!! What a strong positive that is, wow! I don't think I've seen one so determined! Wishing you a healthy and happy pregnancy 💗
Cramping is perfectly normal, almost all websites advice that's often one of the first symptoms for women :) it's all due to the chance son your body so I wouldn't worry about that side of things. I would only be concerned it it was so bad you couldn't stand up. I had cramping with my first and I'm 6 weeks pregnant now and I've had cramping again.
I don't really have much advise about the brown discharge, but I've also read that early bleeding can be normal too. If you're concerned and it continues then perhaps give your go a call and get some advice! There's so many women who have had these symptoms on here and gone on to be fine, so don't feel alone! But see how you get on and if it gets worse just get some advise and put your mind at ease :)

Wishful30 · 24/09/2019 20:02

Thanks @november90 🙃

When I had my mc in Nov the cramps were definitely worse. But I went to work.... only came home coz I broke down 🙄
and I guess red blood was obvious then, so I'm praying it's ok coz it's brown.
Had a good 5 chemicals too over 2 years of trying. Hence why I didn't bother testing early.
Also no charting. I just thought, pretty sure I'm ovulating in the next 3days ish, so bd with hubby as he was then working nights.
I'm too terrified to get excited yet..
just gotta go with it I guess, noting I can do either way🤞🏻

Rose87777 · 24/09/2019 20:22

Sorry @Wishful30 I misread your post and thought you had already seen you had a BFP and this was a follow up! Huge congratulations!!!

LillianFullStop · 24/09/2019 20:35

Congrats @Wishful30 ! That's a very strong BFP!

Sorry about your previous mc Thanks only natural to be apprehensive. If it's any reassurance, I read brown discharge in early pg is due to increased blood flow around the cervix and it is clearing old blood.

DH didn't mention anything all day about the FRER as he was not convinced... tested on the CB Digital just now and 1-2 weeks pregnant! I guess this is real!!!

Wishful30 · 24/09/2019 20:45

Congrats @LillianFullStop 💐 and thanks.
Wishing you a easy, stress free pregnancy xxx

sao81 · 25/09/2019 08:40

Firstimer703 · 25/09/2019 09:28

mumofbun · 25/09/2019 10:20

Thanks @sao81 i haven't phoned yet but will phone early next week once i've done the digital!

Congratulations @LillianFullStop and @Wishful30

mumofbun · 25/09/2019 10:21

@november90 sorry missed your reply somehow. I've been shattered too - think that's mainly as my boobs are so sore i can't like on my side haha. Feeling a bit sick today but only 5 weeks and i read sickness doesn't usually come until later so i'm hoping it's not a sign that it's going to be bad!

NamiSwan · 25/09/2019 13:13

Hi all, hope everuone is doing ok. Commiserations to those who AF got this month and congrats to all the BFPs.

9dpo here, desperately trying not to symptom spot. On Sunday (at 6dpo) I woke up feeling a bit flu-y (no raised temp though) and feeling congested. Same thing happened two cycles ago when I had my chemical, and a few days before I got my BFP with DD2, so trying not to read anything into it. Had a little temp drop this morning and cramping when I woke with a dodgy tum (sorry if TMI) which would point to AF showing her face either today or tomorrow. However, my boobs are itchy and look massive! And I've had a headache all day. So really mixed signs. I expect AF will get me tomorrow as usual at 10dpo but am not sure when to test.

Realistically what are the chances of getting a positive at 10dpo? Should I wait? I know I should but can't stop myself from wondering! I'm going to a wedding on Saturday so wondering if Friday would be a good time to test, if AF doesn't get me? I feel silly worrying about it when likely AF will come tomorrow morning as usual 😣

Sunflower2019 · 25/09/2019 13:13

Congrats on all the bfps! Just checking in xx

Tamalama · 25/09/2019 14:44

@NamiSwan as hard as it is, don't test!!! Stay strong x

Tamalama · 25/09/2019 14:46

I'm CD15 today and on day 5 of having flashing smileys.... I've still got ewcm but no ovulation twinges. I'm hoping I get my static smiley tomorrow morning, these flashing ones are doing my head in ☹️

theotherfossilsister · 25/09/2019 16:37

Lovely to see more positives. My period came today so back to cycle day one, had a weird cycle this time, only 25 days. Anyone else had this? Am normally 27 - 29.

mrssunshinexxx · 25/09/2019 17:04

@Tamalama are you coming to the end of Oct bus ?

What cd do you usually ovulate on have you been having regular sex xx

OP posts:
NamiSwan · 25/09/2019 17:44

@Tamalama this cycle I had six days of flashy before I got my static. And I ended up doing tests twice a day on the fifth and sixth day and on the sixth day got my static smiley in the afternoon. I was using IC opks last cycle and noticed I had a short surge so thought I'd try in the afternoon as well. Hope you get your static soon!

@theotherfossilsister sorry to hear AF arrived. I think sometimes you can just randomly have a shorter / longer period and it doesn't mean anything. Five cycles ago (first TTC) my cycle was 19 days! I must have randomly ov really early that month. Then went back to normal (29-31). I've read that anything up to 7 days variation is fairly normal (so mine actually wasn't normal, but seems to have been normal since that one random month).
