Hi Ladies 🙋,

I'm new to the forum so thought I'd look for some TTC buddies.
I'm 30 and TTC baby number 1, I came off the pill beginning of May and had a withdrawal bleed a few days later then got my first AF 4 weeks after that. Last month I sadly had a chemical it was gutting seeing the faint line go but I guess it wasn't my time!
AF arrived on time Sunday so looks like my cycle ranges from 34-35 days.
I'm currently taking pregnacare and using the Ovia app for ovulation, I'm thinking if I don't concieve by month 6 I'll try ovulation sticks. Onward to month 4 I go 🤣

@flossy12 Awh I'm glad you guys sat down and had a chat. Alot of guys feel pressured during this time and it's understandable, all we can do is reassure them. We put alot of pressure on ourselves when it's out fertile time and they do when it comes to dtd. I told me OH my fertile time is when we're in Italy but that's all I'll tell him I don't want to get him stressed, I actually regret telling him that to be honest! So next month if we don't catch I won't tell him.

Ahhh tell me about it it feels like everyone's getting pregnant and I'm sat here like hello... I've been trying too when do I get my positive 🙋🤷 xx

Hi, can I join please!
Ttc baby number 2. My partner and I had a happy accident last month which resulting in finding out I had conceived, but unfortunately it was a chemical and I ot af a few days later.
Its a shame but its made us realise we are ready try for baby two. So this is our first proper month of ttc.
Baby dust to all! Smile

Nicecupofcoco · 25/08/2019 08:56

Oh forgot to say, with ds, it did take me 9 months to fall pregnant. At the time it felt like forever, and as though it might never happen, but actually it can take up to a year. So positive thoughts ladies! Smile it will happen!
I was very relaxed during my tww last time, and didn't test until af was late! I can't imagine being that relaxed this time round. I'll be testing like a mad woman! Grin I'm almost 35 now so feel more aware of being that little bit older and that there's a possibility things have a slightly higher chance of not going to plan, but fingers crossed for us all! Smile and positive thoughts!

flossy12 · 25/08/2019 09:23

Yeah bless, my OH wants to be there for every HPT incase it's positive 😆😆 DSS mum has kicked off today and said 'why don't you go and start your own family' 🙃🙃 not a good start to the day

Hewie30 · 25/08/2019 10:45

@flossy12 Awh bless him!! Ugh tell her to go and do one 😂😂. Hate it when people make comments when they don't know what's going on 🙄. I've had a few people say when are you going to have a baby and we haven't told anyone we're trying so inside I'm thinking we're trying 😂 xx

@nicecupofcoco Hi and welcome! 🙋. Sorry to hear about your chemical 😔, that just have been upsetting for you both! It's such a hard process much harder then I thought it would be. Thank you for giving us all hope that it will happen! Every month just seems to drag and I feel I'm wishing my life away but even on cycle 4 it feels like it's not going to happen even though I know that's really early days xx

flossy12 · 25/08/2019 10:52

@Hewie30 and exactly I don't want to let her know we're trying because it's nothing to do with her, I know!! I just want to shake her and say like it isn't that easy for some people so stop being so inconsiderate 🤬🤬

Lifesforlivingandloving · 25/08/2019 13:10

@Hewie30

Thank you! Literally so happy but I still can't believe it x dis another test this morning and again positive x I guess the next step is to call GP on Tuesday for an appointment!

Yeah I had a few cramps and nausea ( which is getting worse lol) and heartburn x

How you doing hun? x 💕

Hewie30 · 25/08/2019 14:33

@Flossy12 That's fair enough it's no one's business to know unless you want them too. Yeah exactly for some people it takes a little while longer, just ignore her and focus on you 😁 xx

@lifesforlivingandloving Awh that's amazing hun 😍😍😍. SO over the moon for you! ❤️. Yeaaah how exciting! Are you going to have a early scan privately or just wait for the NHS one?

I'm good thanks hun, just waiting for my opks to arrive and for my fertile window to open! This is the worst part for me because I'm so inpatient 😂🙄 xx

Nicecupofcoco · 25/08/2019 16:03

@Hewie30 yes don't worry still early days! I know how hard it is not to worry though, especially when you want something so much! Have you been using the ovulation kits? Ahh thank you, yes it was upsetting, but in a way it made us both realise that we did want that second baby, so I guess that's a positive way to look at it!

Raizelrea · 25/08/2019 16:22

How is everyone enjoying the bank holiday weekend? We've been spending loads of time on the beach and in cafes, such a good way to recharge!

In other news I'm fairly certain I've ovulated - not temping but based on all the signs I think it was either Tuesday or Thursday. Had a huge energy drop on Friday and Saturday morning so must be in the luteal phase now for sure.

@Lifesforlivingandloving So exciting! Let us know how you get on with the GP appointment, I'd been wondering how early they're willing to see you in the early days!

@Flossy12 She sounds like a charmer, you must be very patient with all these difficult women in your life, I would have snapped if I were you. Hopefully you're not taking her comments to heart!

flossy12 · 25/08/2019 17:27

@Raizelrea I always think I'm not doing so well with it all, but everyone always says they wouldn't stay if they were me and had to deal with all this sh*t 😅

Got this OPK today Glo is saying negative but looks positive to me 🤷🏼‍♀️

TTC Baby number 1 - Looking for buddies
flossy12 · 25/08/2019 17:28

@Hewie30 thank you sweetie that's what I'm trying my best to do 💕 hopefully once little one is old enough to have his own voice things will get easier x

Raizelrea · 25/08/2019 17:34

@flossy12 The lines look the same colour to me so I'd say it's positive too!

flossy12 · 25/08/2019 18:04

@Raizelrea hopefully! 🤞🏻 going to go DTD again 😆

Nicecupofcoco · 25/08/2019 18:50

Hi @flossy12 that looks positive to me too! Smile

flossy12 · 25/08/2019 19:14

@Nicecupofcoco BDing done 😂👏🏼 now time for a 12 hour night shift x

claireb707 · 25/08/2019 22:51

@Lifesforlivingandloving congratulations Grin

Lifesforlivingandloving · 25/08/2019 23:03

@claireb707 thank you 😘

@Raizelrea will do! Not sure if the process has changed but think they see you to do blood tests to confirm the pregnancy. Hoping so anyway!

@Hewie30

Thank you hunni x so happy x
I think just wait for the NHS one... unless anxiety / impatience gets the better of me
Awwww- I know the waiting is horrendous isn't it?! X

Hewie30 · 26/08/2019 09:11

@Nicecupofcoco This month will be the first month using opks their due to arrive on Wednesday but have been a little late so haven't been able to test since CD8 (yesterday) but hopefully I won't miss the surge! We dtd last night anyway just to cover myself as I was getting cramps! Xx

@flossy12 Exactly hun ❤️, when their older and able to answer for themselves she'll find out about herself and it'll be coming from them rather then yourself. That Def looks positive to me hun, is it the first month your doing opks? A friend of mine said that for the first month it'll always say low while it's getting used to your cycle so glad you dtd still! Xx

@lifesforlivingandloving Haha that's fair enough! 😁, So exciting! Are you going to wait to tell people? Xx

OP posts:
Nicecupofcoco · 26/08/2019 10:17

@Hewie30 ahh that's good! I'll keep fingers crossed for you!
Ive stopped bleeding today after my chemical, I've read its safe try again straight away, and apparently can even be more fertile after a loss, so here's hoping!Grin so, I'll start with the ovulation tests tomorrow I think. I'm not sure if this cycle will be messed up due to chemical or not, but will see how it goes!
Let's hope for lots of bfps this month ladies! Congratulations to the ladies that have them already! Smile xx

Lifesforlivingandloving · 26/08/2019 10:28

@Hewie30

Yes hun I think once it's confirmed by the GP were literally going to tell 1 or 2 people
Then wait to tell the rest of our friends and family unti we've had the first scan 😊 x

Hewie30 · 26/08/2019 10:35

@nicecupofcoco Thanks hun ☺️. That's good you've stopped bleeding a chemical is really tough going emotionally, yeah you can most definitely start trying straight away and like you said your more fertile the month afterwards so hopefully this month it gives you your BFP 🤞😍. Yeah don't be too surprised if your cycle is slightly different, mine was slightly longer xx

@lifesforlivingandloving That sounds like a great plan 😍. Let us know how you get on! You had any more symptoms? Xx
