TTC Baby number 1 - Looking for buddies

Hi Ladies 🙋,

I'm new to the forum so thought I'd look for some TTC buddies.
I'm 30 and TTC baby number 1, I came off the pill beginning of May and had a withdrawal bleed a few days later then got my first AF 4 weeks after that. Last month I sadly had a chemical it was gutting seeing the faint line go but I guess it wasn't my time!
AF arrived on time Sunday so looks like my cycle ranges from 34-35 days.
I'm currently taking pregnacare and using the Ovia app for ovulation, I'm thinking if I don't concieve by month 6 I'll try ovulation sticks. Onward to month 4 I go 🤣

@Gigi318 Sorry im wrong, it's meant to come from Wednesday as my luteal length has been 12 days the last few months

@Hewie30 so tomorrow could be the day 😬 I'm hoping now but also want you to have a concrete answer so you can move forward either way. I know this may sound nuts but I actually feel so much better today now. It really helps having AF as I know where I am and now I've got a fresh start. What a turnaround from 1am this morn 🤣🙈 but I'm excited to give this month a real go and have fun with it. Especially as I thought I was pregnant the last two weeks so pretty much kept OH away from me 🙄 it'll be nice to reconnect again!

@Gigi318 Yeah hun either tomorrow or Thursday 🤪. I'm getting cramps so maybe it will come. Either way my mind's settled with it now, as much as I'd like a positive. That's so good your feeling better ❤️, it's more of feeling gutted you weren't pregnant at first isn't it, especially when you have symptoms! Haha bless him but don't worry we all do that! 😂. They must get so confused, one minute we're jumping on them then the next we want them to stay away haha

@Hewie30 that's so good, I'm glad you're in a good place with whatever happens this week. Always the best way to be, because whatever is happening is happening and it's good to just sort of go with it 🤞🏻🙌🏻 absolutely, I had such a cry on the loo at 1am 🙈 it was horrible. But I woke up with a fresh outlook and feel good today.
Haha yes and then I just don't want him to think I only want it for a baby, as that's not kind on him and he may then get fed up. But I was so worried that it may ruin things. Silly isn't it. Definitely won't be doing it this time 🤣

@Hewie30 Wow your cycle's really taken you for a ride this month, I admire how well you're handling it. Hopefully you'll have more clarity withim the next couple of days! You're right either way the limbo is rubbish!

@flossy12 Aww that will be lovely for you guys to have a family holiday, is DSS excited?

@Gigi318 You seem well pumped for the new cycle, your OH won't know what's hit him 😂 Does AF last long for you?

@claireb707 Keep us posted on your pre-holiday results! Nice thing is no matter what it is you'll have the time away to look forward to, never been to Malta but having family somewhere nice and warm sounds awesome 😊

@Raizelrea hahaha, I am. Because it's better to look forward than be down in the dumps about what has already happened. Plus it's so exciting to think that this could be the month that our little poppy seed appears 😍 gives me chills! Hehehe, he won't although I'm sure he will think I have a not-so-hidden agenda 😏🙊

@Gigi318 god yeah it took me ages to get used to everything it's never really been some thing I've taken much notice of 😅 you spend all your time making sure you don't get pregnant as a late teen

@Katie1109 Where are you in your cycle at the minute? If you had the bleeding last week I guess you must be approaching fertile window again soon right? ☺️ I'm at the beginning of my TWW which is not very thrilling 😄

@Raizelrea yes I had some bleeding, I think it was my af but I'm not too convinced because of the timing - it was 22 days after my mc bleeding stopped. And it was extremely light, did not have to use tampax. If it was my AF I am now CD7 with ovulation coming on Monday. Although, just to be sure because I am a smoker and like my wine (ooops) I have saved my FMU this morning and will test when my FRER arrives today.
TWW is awful, I absolutely hate it! I hope it's your month x

@Katie1109 hello lovely, I am feeling good. No pain at all now. Hurrah. Always horrendous day one, then nothing at all for the remaining days. Not even cramps! Now to wait for it to stop 🙄 how are you today? yay to testing as you can find out for good where you are right now. Let us know when the FRER arrives!

@Gigi318 I'm glad you're feeling good. I just want to know for sure that's all. There's always a glimmer of hope I suppose, but I'm doing this more for the health reasons really. My boobs feel a bit sore on the nipples and sides, but that might be completely unrelated to anything. And had quite a lot of white watery CM yesterday afternoon, but that might be only because my fertile days are coming - not sure because I don't really track my cm, find it too confusing lol x
@Raizelrea thank you, of course I will post on update when they ariive, I'm off work today so as soon as they arrive I will dip one in my FMU I saved :)

Also ladies, I think we need to create new thread for ourselves, because I believe max amount of posting is 1000 and we are well into 900s x

@Gigi318 Morning! TWW is ok so far, I know I'm realistically too early to have any symptoms so that helps - I'm sure next week will be harder. My plan is to test next Saturday I think - 13 DPO should be enough. I partly want to wait till 7 October as that's my birthday, but then I don't know if I want to set myself up for birthday disappointment if negative!

Hope your AF goes away soon, how long does it normally last? Mine usually takes 6-7 days so that whole week is always a bust.

Lots and lots of cm for me this morning but still nothing else, getting twitchy about testing now I'm so close to test day

@gigi318 Yeah exactly there's nothing I can do to prevent it or change it from happening so I'm going with the flow and whatever will be will be! There's no point worrying now. Awh bless you!! Once you have a cry though you feel so much better letting it out.

@Rakzelea It massively is!! Cd39 today! Rolls eyes. Thank you hun, I'm just being relaxed now, there's no point fretting. If I don't come on by Saturday then I'll take another test. Ugh massively but I've gathered my thoughts and ready not to stress over it. How you going today?

@katie1109 Morning babe, nah I haven't tested today! AF has stayed away though, cd 39 today haha. If it doesn't come by Saturday then I'll test again. I'm just waiting to see if I ovulated really late so that's the reason for my late period first, although it doesn't explain the faint positives I've had 😂🤷

@Katie1109 yes definitely, I would be testing too as it's so confusing and you just need to know either way so you can move forward in the right direction. Absolutely. Watery CM is good - OD may be close. Which is good as you're either pregnant or ready to conceive. It's a win win! Oh yes, this thread x2 needs to happen soon!

@Raizelrea absolutely! When is AF due? I think 13dpo sounds reasonable and I am on guard should you need talking off the ledge. You know my thoughts on testing early 🤣 Oh wow, that's amazing - so many people in my life have 7th Oct as a birthday. You are now the 5th!

@Hewie30 absolutely! Hehehe I did and then I always absolutely fine as crying changes nothing so here I am 🤷‍♀️🥰 hehe! I'm feeling good today and yes absolutely no pain at all now (not even cramps) which is the norm for me. It's like I get it all in one go!
