TTC Baby number 1 - Looking for buddies

Hi Ladies 🙋,

I'm new to the forum so thought I'd look for some TTC buddies.
I'm 30 and TTC baby number 1, I came off the pill beginning of May and had a withdrawal bleed a few days later then got my first AF 4 weeks after that. Last month I sadly had a chemical it was gutting seeing the faint line go but I guess it wasn't my time!
AF arrived on time Sunday so looks like my cycle ranges from 34-35 days.
I'm currently taking pregnacare and using the Ovia app for ovulation, I'm thinking if I don't concieve by month 6 I'll try ovulation sticks. Onward to month 4 I go 🤣

It's ok i struggle keeping up with who is who as well, it's moves so quick on here 😂
Going to Malta, my aunt and uncle live there so go quite a bit, uncle has been in hospital for major surgery the last 2 weeks so will be good to see him up and about.
My mum and dad and my aunt and uncle Co own a flat near the beach there so we are staying there for a cheap ish chill out week

My bladder is definitely on overdrive at the moment, normally I can go a good couple of hours even though I drink on average 3-4 litres a day. But I'm having to go a lot more regularly which is slightly annoying

@Raizelrea I know I can't believe it! 7 weeks on Thursday! Hopefully get a more accurate date on my scan on Saturday 🤞🏻

@Gigi318 I'm so so sorry sweetheart 😢😢 I really thought you were on to a winner there 😔 big hugs from me and the girls! 💞 Also it took me until cycle 4 to get my BFP so 🤞🏻

@Hewie30 tell me about it! Nearly 7 weeks already! And by the time I know it I'll be on holiday (turn 8 weeks the day we fly) and then when we get back I'll be 9! 😱 I'm sorry to hear you haven't got your positive either 😔😔

I really thought you were all going to be getting positives today 😭 it took me 4 cycles to catch on and get my BFP so try to keep positive it will happen 🤞🏻

@claireb707 I only had the symptom of being tired in the last few days before AF was due and had cramping for 3 days and that was it, oh and my CM didn't dry up, apart from that I didn't have anything major to point towards my BFP x

@claireb707 also hun I was 12dpo when I tested ☺️☺️ so you could get a strong result x

But I'm not getting my hopes up too much otherwise I know I'll be gutted.
It's my parents birthdays in November a week apart was hoping to be able to give them a lovey present

My cm definitely hasn't dried up

@flossy12 did you have sore boobs? Not even got that, but then don't generally before period, just the first day of normally

@claireb707 no I didn't have sore boobs until week 5, not there hot all the time and heavy 😂 achy to the touch, but also I've had a boob job before so have some numbness so it could probably have been worse if not for that numbness

@Flossy12 That's madness isn't it, time sure is flying! Where are you going on holiday to? I bet you can't wait 😍😍.

Yeah I'm disappointed I really thought it was it this month but now I'm just waiting for AF, just a shame this is cycle 4 and I've now had two chemicals (Whenever AF comes this month)

@gigi318 This is true hopefully being nice and relaxed will help me and oh if he is feeling the pressure and stress, I'm glad he opened up to me though. This cycles going to be a crazy long one! How you feeling?

@Hewie30 we're off to Crete ☺️☺️ not with Thomas cook 😅 are you sure it's definitely chemical then? I so sorry 💞 but like you say maybe just relax this cycle or give yourself a cycle off doing OPKs and all that jazz 🤷🏼‍♀️

@flossy12 I'm not sure I think so, only because I got 3 or so faint positives before now, unless it's a coincidence and the tests had major indents or evaps but they were all within time limit 😔. But if I come on tomorrow then it could be faulty tests as i could have ovulated really late as I got another peak at cd26. This cycles been pretty confusing! Yeah I most definitely will do ❤️. Just waiting for AF to arrive now!

@claireb707 that sounds so lovely and just what you need right now whether you get a BFP or AF you can relax 🙌🏻 it sounds perfect to me. Very nice and chilled!

@flossy12 thank you babe, I did too. Had my little cry and now I'm feeling in good spirits again. Very excited for this month and intend to just stay relaxed and enjoy it 😍🥰

@Hewie30 well hopefully it will be your last cycle for a while chick. Remember you will also be extra fertile this month, so now we need to keep you calm and relaxed so we get that sticky bean! We've got this 💫 I'm feeling okay, in a lot of pain but it's 12 hours in now so should ease off before I go to sleep 🙌🏻 feeling quite calm and happy. Excited to be given another chance to try again and although I liked the idea of a May baby, I'm thinking a little Junebug would be wonderful 💖 so I'm in a good place. I also just popped out and treated myself to two new books, so I'm sort of taking the day to myself 🙊 got to just go with it sometimes. How are you feeling?

We're going for a week, OH ex has agreed for DSS to come so we're very excited a proper family holiday all together 💞 I wonder if it was anovulatory? Or however you spell it and that second peak was your body trying again? I'm not sure not that clued up on it 😌🤦🏼‍♀️

@Gigi318 tbh we went absolutely had on this successful cycle 😂 I don't have my TTC apps anymore but we literally went after AF and DTD every other day, then after +ve OPK we did it everyday and 3 times on the second day 😂 then just whenever we fancied it after that 😂🤞🏻

@flossy12 that's what I'm thinking chick, to just go every other day and enjoy it, if I spot EW then go that day and next or whatever, but just enjoy it and see what happens. As last month I missed a few days and then I think I may have O later anyway 🙈 so yet, rookie error! But hey ho. I have this brand new chance so yay 🤞🏻💖

@Gigi318 that's the best way just enjoy it ☺️☺️ at least for the first few cycles, although from experience I know it's hard to not obsess

@Gigi318 Fingers crossed it will be but in all honesty I'm just waiting for AF I've read online and a lot of women have got their positives before being this late and have just ended up having a really long cycle so I'm just going to think that so I don't get my hopes up. I just want to know what's going on now to be honest, whether I got a sticky bean whose taking a while to develop HCG or whether sadly it wasn't as sticky as we'd hoped. Feel in limbo! I got my hopes up a bit when I got my faints I even worked out I could go for a early scan on my birthday so that's stung a little bit. But as soon as AF is here onto the next month!

Awh bless you! Hate AF it can be so painful and draining, I'm glad you've spoiled yourself with some books. That'll keep you calm and your mind off AF! A June baby is a cute summer baby 😍. Good news is you wouldn't be heavily pregnant hopefully in the peak of summer!

@flossy12 Awh that's nice of oh ex! That'll be an amazing little family holiday 😍, bet you can't wait! What's that? Haha. Oh when your body tried to ovulate twice? Yeah possibly! I covered myself both times just incase 🤷

@flossy12 exactly, I think I was just a little off on my first go - I learnt much more after my fertile period. But there we are 🤣

@Hewie30 absolutely, you are exactly right - it's limbo right now. It's good to know either way isn't it. I was two days later than expected this month, so I think I ovulated later. Typical hey! Absolutely, urgh it's so easy to plan ahead isn't it. I was looking into due dates and things too, so it sucks 🙃 but you may not be out just yet!
Oh yes, and I quite like the idea of throwing big summer garden parties. Both OH and I are January babies so it's always dark and cold for us 🙊🙈
I hope you can keep your spirits up this week chick, but we're all here for you if you get stressed or want to rant!
Yes I have endometriosis so it is especially painful 🙃 but only for the first day and then I have zero pain. I never cramp I just had excruciating sharp pains and a numb back. As if its all in one day and then nothing for 4-5!

@Hewie30 summer baby isn't always great, I'm a July baby and my birthday party at school was always badly attended as it was close to school holidays 😢 (either that or no one liked me 😂😂)

@claireb707 hehehe I'm sure it was the holidays thing! Mine was always in Christmas break so I know the feeling. And as a teen and in my twenties nobody ever wanted to go out as it was too close to Christmas and NYE!

@Gigi318 🤜🤛 my cousins is boxing day so she struggled as well

So I imput my late opk positive from the other week into flo and it says AF will be due on Saturday at cd41. So we'll see if this was a really late ovulation

Yeah this is it it's the limbo!! Either way hopefully we'll know by Saturday. I put everything in Flo about my late peak and it's said it'll be a 41 day cycle and come on Saturday so I think I'm gonna hold off until then and if I'm late by then I'll do another test, but I do feel like I'm going to come on

@claireb707 yes, although when Christmas is done I'm always so excited and start counting down. Even at 30 🤣

@Hewie30 hurrah let's hope Flo is right 🙌🏻 fingers crossed for you chick! Yea definitely hold off until then for your sanity otherwise you'll drive yourself crazy doing more tests. Eeek do you, do you feel periody? That's what I always call it 🙊

@gigi318 Yeah 100% 😂. Can't be dealing with testing every other day until Saturday and overanalyzing the lines! I thought I saw an extremely faint line today but it's probably line eyes! But we'll see if it comes on Saturday, yeah I feel very periody - more so then the last few days, I keep thinking I've come on 😂
