TTC Baby number 1 - Looking for buddies

Hewie30 · 20/08/2019 13:30

Hi Ladies 🙋,

I'm new to the forum so thought I'd look for some TTC buddies.
I'm 30 and TTC baby number 1, I came off the pill beginning of May and had a withdrawal bleed a few days later then got my first AF 4 weeks after that. Last month I sadly had a chemical it was gutting seeing the faint line go but I guess it wasn't my time!
AF arrived on time Sunday so looks like my cycle ranges from 34-35 days.
I'm currently taking pregnacare and using the Ovia app for ovulation, I'm thinking if I don't concieve by month 6 I'll try ovulation sticks. Onward to month 4 I go 🤣

@Katie1109 thank you lovely, I just wish I hadn't messed up the first test 😂🙈 thank you, I hope so do. It's so light barely been anything and nothing since 🤞🏻💫 hmm, it is odd isn't it. But like you said maybe your cycle is adjusting? At least you can say you're around CD5 now and then fun starts! 💖

Hewie30 · 21/09/2019 18:39

@gigi318 Oooo that's good that it's gone back to how it was! That definatly makes me think it's more of a possibility that it could have been implantation? 🤔. Eeek!! Roll on Monday! Never wished the weekend away do much haha. Erm well it says delivery Monday/Tuesday but hoping it'll come Monday 🤞. Haha! 😍, I've sort of got mine but I really want it to go darker, I've got in my head it's going to be another chemical but trying to remain positive

@Hewie30 yes. Slightly more again since then but still tiny amounts 🤞🏻I hope it is IB and that it sticks! Hope you have a nice sticky bean too because you've obviously had something fertilised for the line to show!!! Hahaha me too. Just casually wishing days away over here 🙋‍♀️ okie doke. Eeek hope it comes Monday, will you test Monday then or wait for FMU on Tuesday?

Hewie30 · 21/09/2019 19:45

@Gigi318 Oh really? I'm still going with implantation bleeding because it's not much and spotting, plus it's brown🤞❤️. Erm as tempted as I'll be to do it in the evening I think I'll try wait until FMU! Yeah exactly! Fingers crossed it's a sticky bean! ♥️

@Hewie30 I think so too, it's hardly anything. The odd short thin line every few hours or so. Very strange for me. No cramping at the moment. Now for it to stop tomorrow and I can then test 2 days later. Boobs still feel really full and nipples are gross!! I think it's them that makes me think! They just feel so different! Yes I think wait for FMU. So proud of myself for getting the right tests, just need to not eff up the test next time 🤣

Nicecupofcoco · 21/09/2019 20:38

Hi ladies. Hope every body is OK.
I've had some bleeding today. Sad brown mainly, with red on the tissue when I wipe, sorry tmi. So just going to wait to see what happens, and might see if I can get gp appointment next week. I'll only be 4 weeks four days but thought gp could just advise if feeling sympathetic enough, but more likely tell me just to wait and see.
I had bleeding with ds but always brown, never red. I feel so gutted that this could be my second chemical in two months!
Dh is quite hopeful that it's normal and all will be OK, but I have a bad feeling. I've had dull lower back ache on and off today too.
@Hewie30
@Hewie how are your tests coming along? Xx

Nicecupofcoco · 21/09/2019 20:39

@Gigi318 you feeling OK?

Gigi318 · 21/09/2019 20:50

@Nicecupofcoco oh babe, try not to panic 🤞🏻 it could be all okay, just regular old spotting just with fresher blood. Is it a lot? Or just a few bits? Definitely check in with GP just in case, I think the reassurance will be helpful and handy to be on their radar too. I'm no expert, but I feel as if I've read a lot about spotting lately and I feel it's so common early on but always good to get checked. If I get BFP I will mention this spotting, just in case. I am feeling okay, thank you chick. Just very tired and VERY full and hot feeling boobs. Very bizarre. They are so warm and I just feel very aware of them (considering usually so small 🙃🤣) Sending lots of love 💖💫

Nicecupofcoco · 21/09/2019 21:11

@Gigi318 thank you! 💕
Your symptoms sound positive! Have you decided to test again tomorrow? Fingers crossed for you.
Ahh, I really hope all is OK too. I just cried this morning when I saw the blood, it was mainly brown but red at times when wiping through out the day. Not loads though, I put a pad on just so that I could check how much I was losing and there's a small splodge of brown discharge on that. On the tissue each tme I've wiped its probably been size of 50p coin I'd say! So not loads but I'm convinced it'll get heavier.
We've had dhs family over today so had to put a brave face on, but all I really wanted was to curl up in bed. I'm terrible for jumping to worse case scenario. Need to try and stay positive. Xx

Gigi318 · 21/09/2019 21:20

@Nicecupofcoco thank you chick, I hope so. No not testing tomorrow as spotting today. AF due tomorrow/Monday so all good and well I think Tuesday would be good. What do you think? Then I would be officially late.
How long did you have the pad on for? I think when we wipe it's worse. Always seems to be more when I wee 🙄 just to add to worries! Because we need them! Just see how it goes and try to relax, you can always call the GP first thing Monday. Or out of hours!
It's kind of good you had them over - to distract you a little. A bit of wallowing is okay, but sometimes it can drive you crazy! Hope you can get a good night's sleep!

Nicecupofcoco · 21/09/2019 21:37

@Gigi318 yes Tuesday sounds a good day to test! Hope af stays away for you!
Yeah your right, its better having a distraction than wallowing. I've had it on about four hours or so, and a little splodge, but fingers crossed its nothing. Time will tell though.
Thank you! 💕

Raizelrea · 22/09/2019 00:09

I got my static smiley ladies!!!! So Sunday must be peak for me!!!

Raizelrea · 22/09/2019 00:11

@nicecupofcoco I'm so sorry Flowers It might still be ok, fingers crossed for you!

claireb707 · 22/09/2019 07:00

Woooo way to go @Raizelrea 😜😜
Thought static meant peak though so if you got static yesterday then surely yesterday is peak?

flossy12 · 22/09/2019 07:07

Sorry for being totally MIA yesterday 😆 the exhaustion is getting the better of me and 12 hours shifts aren't helping 😫😫💤

Hope everyone is okay today! Had some nausea this early morning but ate a little something and it stopped 🤞🏻 also had some pains in my right pelvic area but only lasted a few minutes

Got me worrying at my sister suffered an eptopic last year and had to be rushed to emergency surgery 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

Gigi318 · 22/09/2019 08:24

@Nicecupofcoco it sounds all very normal to me chick, but if you get any more today then you can always call the GP. But let's hope there's nothing, or just tiny spotting if so. So far, I've had nothing overnight 👌🏻👏🏻 a tiny bit of cramping but I was expecting to wake with horrific pain and woohoo so far I have survived another night. My OH thinks I'm nuts 🙊🤣 thanks lovely, let's hope I make it til Tuesday woohoo 🤞🏻💫

@Raizelrea wooohoooo now bugger off here and go DTD. Today could be a good day to get those swimmers out there 😍😍😍

@flossy12 hello love, how are you doing today? I can imagine those shifts are tough, hope you're getting enough rest where you can! Yes feeling good, spotting was very very light yesterday and long gaps in between. A bit of cramping overnight but nothing painful. Although today I feel like I've got the flu. And yes again I couldn't sleep well 🙈 yay to the nausea. Glad it goes away when you eat those. That's what it's like for me!

Raizelrea · 22/09/2019 08:37

@claireb707 Thank you! You're right technically peak was yesterday though I didn't get the flashing smiley till 11 pm (did a test at 4pm and that was still just high fertility), and cheapie was not quite positive last night so I figured it was more of a Sunday positive - most likely had peak while I slept. I'm assuming ovulation is today either way.

@Gigi318 Yep we DTD not to worry! 😄 Though I had the peak when we got back from the pub so not sure if the swimmers will be the highest quality haha.

claireb707 · 22/09/2019 08:42

Feeling like a bit of a Debbie downer this morning, think yesterday was something I'd eaten /alcohol related rather than implantation. I m doubting I am pregnant and been thinking this morning about whether we're doing the right thing with trying for a baby.
Something my partner said the other day came into my head this morning - if we got pregnant then I'd be 50 when child is 10, they're probably not going to see much of their grandparents (all currently late 60s - 3 with health conditions), and we probably wouldn't see their children if they have them - I'm feeling a bit miserable about it 😢
And then I burst into tears yesterday watching a bloody cat video on Facebook.

I think I'm just stressed from work and trying do think this holiday next week will do me good, am also thinking about holidays in general as we have a cruise booked at Christmas and I don't know if we'll get to go (will need to cancel if I'm pregnant due to zika).
Bloody hormones, at leat I'm assuming hormones and I'm not just going mad

(sorry for being miserable)

Hewie30 · 22/09/2019 08:45

Hey Ladies how we all doing? Theres alot to catch-up on 😂😂
@Raizelea Awh Hun keep positive bleeding in early pregnancy can be completely normal!!
I think I'm having another chemical, my second line has faded and think I had pink on the tissue this morning. If it is I'll be devestated, that's 2 chemicals in 4 months 🤨

OP posts:
Gigi318 · 22/09/2019 08:57

@claireb707 oh chick, sorry to hear you're feeling sad. It's hard not to think like that sometimes, but yes we will blame it on the hormones. I feel as if, you'd like to start a family and you feel healthy now, go for it. That's all there is to it. Try not to overthink it with what ifs! Unless you're really unsure then maybe take time to to think. Although you do sound hormonal which is another positive sign. Sending love and hugs!

@Hewie30 oh no, chick I hope not! I really hope not. How do you feel? Do you feel as if AF is coming? 💖💖💖

Hewie30 · 22/09/2019 09:14

@gigi318 I feel devestated to be honest, I've done 4 tests and all of them had a line and the one the other day was definitely darker. I don't feel it's coming I just have the normal wet feeling, but my urine this morning was dark so can mean blood in the urine and I saw pink on my tissue. Plus my test this morning the line was lighter. If this is another chemical I'm going to have a break from ttc

OP posts:
Gigi318 · 22/09/2019 09:19

@Hewie30 oh my love, that is heartbreaking. I'm really hoping it's not. Is the line still there though? Cannot wait for the FRER to arrive now so you can have some answers. Hopefully no more blood today 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 sending lots of love chick and keeping everything crossed for you! 💫

Hewie30 · 22/09/2019 09:23

@Gigi318 Erm yeah there's a little line there but definitely not as dark as the one before. Thanks hun, hopefully it won't come completely and it's just spotting but preparing myself for the worst too just incase 🤗🤞

OP posts:
Gigi318 · 22/09/2019 09:32

@Hewie30 yes that's handy to think like that, so you don't freak out too badly if the line goes away. I hope it doesn't chick! Let's hope the bleeding stops or stays very light and that line stays there 🤞🏻 how are you feeling today? 🤞🏻💫

flossy12 · 22/09/2019 09:33

@Gigi318 well not full blown AF then! And some people can spot through pregnancy anyway ☺️☺️

Yeah I'm fine now, just having some breakfast with the fam ☺️ we got doughnuts as a treat but not sure I'll be able to stomach one 😅

@claireb707 aww please don't doubt yourself! My friend who I went to cschool with her parents were 50 when they had her 😅 and she never batted an eyelid about it, as long as you love that child it shouldn't matter 💞💞
