TTC Baby number 1 - Looking for buddies

Hi Ladies 🙋,

I'm new to the forum so thought I'd look for some TTC buddies.
I'm 30 and TTC baby number 1, I came off the pill beginning of May and had a withdrawal bleed a few days later then got my first AF 4 weeks after that. Last month I sadly had a chemical it was gutting seeing the faint line go but I guess it wasn't my time!
AF arrived on time Sunday so looks like my cycle ranges from 34-35 days.
I'm currently taking pregnacare and using the Ovia app for ovulation, I'm thinking if I don't concieve by month 6 I'll try ovulation sticks. Onward to month 4 I go 🤣

@Raizelrea aha yeah you can't eat too much during the week but as long as it isn't masses you'll be fine 😀😬

Oh ladies, I've just tried to go for a run and had to stop less than a mile in because I feel sad and like I'm going to cry. W. T. F! Am I going mad? My body is killing me at the moment 😭

@Gigi318 all good signs! I started to watch 'Emma Willis delivers babies' yesterday and started crying 😅 hormone central

@flossy12 I'm calmer now 😅 walked back, the sun was shining and I felt much better just taking in the fresh air. Jesus - I best get that BFP now 😂🙈 oh good on you, I don't think I could watch it. Also, can I ask what your CM was like before BFP or now (if you check/notice it) 😘

@Gigi318 oh good! Fingers crossed! 🤞🏻😁 normally it would dry up towards AF for me but before my BFP I still had creamy CM and enough to notice it definitely! Still have it now too 😅 and I'm 6 weeks tomorrow

@katie1109 Oh hun I'm sorry! Hopefully it'll go away and not get heavier, some ladies still bleed when their pregnant. If it is AF like Gigi says, it shows your healthy and your cycles are sorting themselves up. They can definitely get messed up a bit after a MC so it's positive it's gone back to normal so quickly 💓. Rest and keep positive and get yourself prepared for the next round!

@gigi318 Awh are you! You'll be completely fine honest, once you've peed on that stick a few times it's like a normal regular thing 😂😂. Sounds bad I know!! Before I used to be nervous now I'm more anxious! Eeek I'm so excited to see your test, you've done SO well to hold off. The cramps and sickness are positive that really makes me think this is it for you 😍. How's the heavy feeling? Awh bless you with crying during the run! That could definitely be hormones but I'm glad you feel better now. I'm feeling okay, my cervix doesn't seem to be as low today so hoping that's a good thing. Still got cramps on and off and sickness on and off more so when I eat 🤔

@flossy12 I watch that too!!! How amazing is it 😍. I cried watching it last night and had to turn it off 🙄🙄🙄🙄. Does it make you nervous to give birth?

@flossy12 thank you chick, not getting too much in my knickers (soz) but don't feel officially dry. During the attempted cervix check last night it was still stringy (is that the right work) and creamy, so 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 how are you feeling today?

@Raizelrea thank you! Yesss I was mega stressed and I think the long haul flight for the honeymoon messed me up as well. I'm really hopeful for this month but I don't want to hope too much 🤦🏾‍♀️ it's always disappointing when AF comes.

@GalaxyGirl24 I got married last month too. Where did you go on honeymoon? So I'm not even sure to count my first 2 cycles as I was so stressed about the wedding. On honeymoon I thought I got a faint line (DH could see it too but thought it was too faint to be real) and it then disappeared, I had so many symptoms I was convinced. Not sure if it was a chemical or just a faulty test.

@Katie1109 sorry about AF. Sometimes we get odd periods, or it could be from the MC. I had the same thing last month with some weird tissue/ clot (it was massive!). I think we just over analyse them so much during this time, who knows?! At least your cycle is now reset ready for your BFP next month. Take care and treat yourself today.

I'm going to the drs tonight about increasing my b12 injections. Also going to ask about short periods. Mine are only ever 1- 2 days max but regular every 25 days (hoping that's the most important thing!).

@Hewie30 gosh no I'm not any way scared 😅 not yet anyway! It just makes me emotional knowing that is going to be me and OH next year 🤞🏻🤞🏻 all goes well x

@Gigi318 well sounds fine to me! I'm feeling fine just really tired, not having many symptoms worries me so much but I'm just trying to keep calm until our private scan next weekend x

@Makeafamily19 I went to Mauritius! Congratulations on your recent marriage also!! I genuinely thought I was PG while I was out there as I was so so late (5 days late) and I'm never late! Always like clockwork but it wasn't to be, and someone told me that different time zones can mess you up. As you say, I wonder whether I can count a couple of my cycles and have been thinking whether I miss out the cycle after coming off the pill as it's said it can take a month or so to fully metabolise and leave your body...and whether last month should be a miss due to stress and flying?....let me know what the docs say re periods as mine are regular usually but recently since stopping the pill they have been mega short! Like 1-2/3 days same as you!

@Gigi318 Good luck for Saturday testing!!! I hope you get a BFP! How long have you been trying? (Sorry if you've already told me this!)
I've got 6 days until I can test but have been super emotional, creamy CM which usually I'm drier towards AF and slightly sore boobs but all these could be bloody AF coming.

@Gigi318 hi! Are you due AF on Sunday? I am, just started having some light pink CM when I wipe and have a funny feeling....(I know it's maybe tempting fate, but I may as well enjoy the feeling until hopes might get dashed 😆)
I'm on holiday until tomorrow and trying hard not to crumble and test before Sunday 😬

@flossy12 That's really good your not!! I used to be but now I'm not, I think cos I want my positive so badly whenever I get it I'll just be grateful 😂.

@Hewie30 totally missed your reply earlier as we messaged at the same time 🤣 yes! Last month I was nervous to do it but we weren't ttc then and I was just freaked out we had accidentally dtd over fertile time 🙈 thank you and I hope you're right. I think my random teary moment made me panic that it's PMS - but still get fluttery feeling and twinges which is all abnormal for me, so 🤞🏻that's amazing! Sounds all good to me and the sickness cramps is very much like me - but I feel better when I eat. Bless us!

@flossy12 that sounds so lovely! Eeeek I am so excited for you! I'm sure that everything is fine. But also my cramps are less crampy as such and more twinges today so I do get what you mean, it makes you wonder. But relax and enjoy it chick!

I'm feeling well! Just got some pink spotting and hoping it's not AF starting. I don't think it is, but only time will tell I guess!
How are you? Have the baby thoughts consumed your holiday yet? 🙈
My OH is being very balancing, just keeps saying it's 50/50 and if it's not this month, we can look forward to next month...which is very true 😍

@croissantmonster fingers crossed for you it's IB and not AF especially if its just when you wipe 🤞🏻 that is all very true, he sounds like a wise man. I'm not away chick, sorry I thought you were? 🙈 I've got all confused! Hopefully it's baby brain 😏🙋‍♀️👏🏻

Christ I'm only 3dpo and already very distracted, I'm struggling work, not wishing my life away by any means but wish next weekend would hurry up (not helped by going on holiday next Saturday too 😎😎😂😂)

@Gigi318, maybe Friday as we are in airport hotel Friday night for morning flight Saturday.

@claireb707 yes Friday sounds fantastic. Only 9 days to go. You've got this. And as these ladies will tell you, I am the queen of waiting to test. 12dpo and not even tempted 😂😂😂 so I can keep you sane 😘

Hi all x well my af is now in full flow so that’s me 100% this month. Glass of wine to relax tonight and moving on. I’ll keep checking for updates from you guys @Hewie30 and @Gigi318

@gigi318 Haha yeah I noticed that too 😂😂. That's a good sign you still have the twinges! How strange!! Mine seems to vary so one day I'll feel sick and better when I eat but last night when I made dinner it made me feel really sick. Although this has happened before and I came on so not taking that as a early sign. Mood swings can be either AF or early pregnancy due to the hormones 😁

@Katie1109 Ah noooo do one AF 🤨. I'm sorry hun but positive thinking, dust yourself off relax and prepare for baby making duties ❤️. We'll keep you updated!

@Hewie30 yes me too - some days sicker than others and cramps leas today but back to smaller twinges and fluttering! Are you still getting that? Any backache? It was so odd I'm back to my usual self now hehe!! Hoping for a little poppy seed and not AF 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Hewie30 yeah my mentality is just 'don't be scared until you have to be' 😅 so until I'm in that room 10cm dilated 😅😂

@Gigi318 yeah I had some cramps in the first few weeks thought AF was gearing up a few days early which never happens but it wasn't 😅 think it might have been implantation 🤷🏼‍♀️
