TTC Baby number 1 - Looking for buddies

Hi Ladies 🙋,

I'm new to the forum so thought I'd look for some TTC buddies.
I'm 30 and TTC baby number 1, I came off the pill beginning of May and had a withdrawal bleed a few days later then got my first AF 4 weeks after that. Last month I sadly had a chemical it was gutting seeing the faint line go but I guess it wasn't my time!
AF arrived on time Sunday so looks like my cycle ranges from 34-35 days.
I'm currently taking pregnacare and using the Ovia app for ovulation, I'm thinking if I don't concieve by month 6 I'll try ovulation sticks. Onward to month 4 I go 🤣

@Hewie30 I thought I’m 14/15 DPO but I don’t use opks or charts, so it might have been later and I misread my own body x 1st day of mc bleed was 21st of August and I counted it as day 1 x cycles are normally 27 days. I’m so confused x

@Gigi318 I'm not too sure... I want to but I don't think it'll be any different from today 😂. I'm tempted to get a different brand other then these cheapies but don't want to waste money! Awh yeah!! I've got everything crossed for you hun 😍💓. Only a few days to go for you!! Eeek!! Wellllll from what I know (Which isn't too much) if it's high it's good news 😉😊. Its when its low AF is preparing to come 🤞.

@nicecupofcoco reaaaally, that sounds similar doesn't it! Your giving me so much hope 🤞😂. Did you test with cheapies too? When did you start to get a line? Yeah my opks have gone dark again for some reason! If you scroll down I posted a photo the other day and it's gone back to high.

@katie1107 That is slightly confusing! I think implantation bleeding can occur up to 14dpo though? Try not to worry after a MC it can send your cycles haywire BUT makes you much more fertile so this could definitely be it!!!! 🤞🤞🤞🤞

@Hewie30 yes the cheapies! About 9dpo I thought I saw a line but I couldn't be sure at all, 10dpo was very similar, really unsure, 11dpo was a shadow and then slowly got darker over the next few days!

@nicecupofcoco Eeeek fingers crossed!! Did you monitor your cervix? I think mines lowered which means AF 😒

@Nicecupofcoco oh this all sounds so promising for Hewie!!!! Yayy!!! Yes Saturday for me, and now the closer I get, I'm getting a bit nervous. Like I'm taking an actual test that I need to get an A on 🤣🙈🤣 but best just get it over with!

@Hewie30 yes maybe try again Thursday or Friday. OR SATURDAY 👯‍♀️ Although I'm sure you'll cave and retest. I'd say stick with the cheapies until AF due or missed and then go for FR? Ahhh I'm hoping so. But then I'm like IS this high for me? Or what 🤣 so I won't check again as driving myself nuts I swear! I think low doesn't always mean AF. When I looked into earlier it says position doesn't matter as much as the feeling - soft vs firm?

@Gigi318 Haha yeah I'll probably still cave and test but I might wait until Thursday. If that lady is right and ovulated at cd19 then I'm due Thursday so that means I'll be due either then or Friday. That's a good idea hun I'll do that!!
Oh really? I always read that it gets lower to prepare for AF but hopefully your right 🤞. I'm trying to remain positive cos I'm pretty sure I saw something on the test

@Hewie30 I did fine she didn't cotton on at all 😅 we sent her the picture of me OH and DSS holding the tests 😂 she ran into the kitchen all shocked and started crying 😍😭 was emotional but the best feeling ever 💞💞 she just has to keep the secret for a few weeks now haha!!

@Gigi318 lots of crying done 😆💞 she's my only full sister so we have such a close bond only 2 years apart

@Hewie30 yes Thursday or Friday sounds good if AF due Weds! Yes I always thought that too but one site said everybody is different. I suppose just like some have wet CM in early preg and others have more creamy! So clever and crazy, isn't it!

I do know how you feel though, with me I wanted to test, but I didn't want to test incase I was disappointed.
You sound a really positive person, it's lovely having you on here to keep everybody so upbeat! Hope we can do the same for you.... Actually no, I hope we don't need to do the same for you, as hopefully you'll get a huge bfp on Saturday morning! What a fantastic weekend that would be for you!

@Hewie30 I do see something on that test but doesn't seem to have colour so it's hard to say if it's a line or evap. Fingers crossed! Are you testing again tomorrow?

@GalaxyGirl24 Congratulations on getting married! Chances are the pre-wedding stress wasn't doing much for your fertility, hopefuly now that you can chill a bit more that BFP will come in no time 😊

@flossy12 I LOOVE avocado on toast. Especially with smoked salmon, though I know you need to limit salmon to twice a week when pregnant - may be tricky in the future as i'm addicted haha

@Makeafamily19 Sorry AF got you! I experienced something similar last cycle - I usually have spotting that becomes full blown period but it did stop for a day before the last period. It's cruel how the body can sometimes taunt us! I've read that IB is not all that common anyway so will try to not get my hopes up in the future with spotting.

@Nicecupofcoco awwwwww babe, thank you. I am ☺️🙈 I just don't see the point in being negative when it makes you worry and feel down, as being positive just makes me feel happy most of the time. Always like to see the good in life. I also find that good things happen when I'm in a good frame of mind too, is that makes sense? Eeeek, are you - goodness I hope so too or I really do think I'm going mad. I woke up this morning and thought oh no only 3 days to go. I'm nervous 🙊 Thank you so much, it really would although I'm sure I'd freak out and not believe it. I just don't want to test too early, get a BFN and be sad when really it could be a BFP a few days or a week later. So still a bit scared Saturday is early 🙈 hope AF doesn't arrive!!!

@Raizelrea yeah I've read that too, the logical part of me knew it was AF but the hopeful part was like 'what if?!' I wish I could just forget I was TTC as every symptom could be AF or PG and I don't want to stress about it.

@Gigi318 haha I think I need your positivity as I'm the opposite, I always think if I get my hopes up too much life will knock me down so I just always expect the worse so I'm not as disappointed, which inevitably I am anyway 🤣

@Makeafamily19 don't worry lovely lady, that's very normal. I think our minds are programmed to automatically do that. My bestie says the same as you - that she's still disappointed anyway with whatever the thing in question is. Sometimes you just feel less worried or anxious when you're positive. I find it really helps 💫

@Gigi318 Don't be nervous, if you think about it, you can only gain - if it says not pregnant you don't lose anything as things will just continue the way they are. And the alternative would obviously be amazing 😀 Fingers crossed for you!

@Makeafamily19 I know I'm the same, I always think about what could go wrong. Planning my wedding was an anxious experience haha!

@Hewie30 Would be lovely to find out on a Friday as then you have the whole weekend to celebrate. I hope the next test will be more conclusive!

Morning all!
Well I am 95% sure af arrived but...it is very, very light - I could have just had a panty liner overnight and it would be just fine. I have no cramps and (WARNING TMI) just now there was about 3cm long tissue/clot?! I do not ever pass clots, I just do not feel like usually during af. Although these are probably changes due to my mc last month. Oh well...there's always next month.
How are you guys? @Hewie30 how are you feeling?

@Gigi318 Thanks hun!! We've completely got this! 🤗. No sign of AF yet which is good!! I'm CD32 today and they've ranged from 33-35 so nervous next few days! 😁. How you feeling? Few more days to go 😍.

@Raizelea Exactly hun, the whole weekend for it to sink in if I get my positive! Fingers crossed it is! 🤞🤞. I have heard that these cheapies can sometimes not show up until your late so if it comes up fabulous, if it doesn't test again if AF is a no show 😁

@Katie1109 Your not out just yet hun, if that's just a one off then your still in the game! 🤞. What was the clot like? Bright red? Or brown colour?
I'm feeling okay thanks hun, trying to remain positive! No sign of AF yet but the next few days would be when I'd come on so hoping it stays away!

@Hewie30 it was very dark red, definitely not brown x I think I am out, the bleeding itself is not pink anymore is bright red although there isn't really much of it. I am using tampax, because I cannot stand the feeling of a pad, and overnight it was not even half full x

@Katie1109 morning babe! Hmm this is a strange one. Maybe it is your body adjusting after the mc. Either way, remember that having AF is healthy and it means your cycle starts again ready for another fantastic chance. Try to relax and just enjoy some downtime while AF is here, so you're energised, excited, and relaxed to DTD 😘

@Hewie30 I'm actually getting nervous too. It's almost go time 😬 I'm CD26 today and cycles are usually 29-30 days for me! Very, very mild cramps still this morning, which is unusual for me. This is day three now of them on and off. Again, a tiny bit nauseous first thing but no headache as of yet. Hurrah 💪🏻 yes, we've got this!!! How are you feeling??

@Gigi318 thanks hun. I know, I am trying to stay positive and absolutely hating the fact that I keep getting my hopes up even though I say I don't. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you x When are you testing? FRER could show something by now, are you not tempted? Lol x

@Katie1109 you're welcome babe. Just try not to panic too much as, remember, it already is what it is - so worrying won't change it. But it's hard not to get your hopes up isn't it 🙈 I'm testing on Saturday, AF due Sunday. I have a CB here an no FR which is why I'm holding off. And no not tempted at all, if anything I'm too scared too 🙊 I swear I'm a lone breed - no one else ever says that on here 🤣
