TTC Baby number 1 - Looking for buddies

Hi Ladies 🙋,

I'm new to the forum so thought I'd look for some TTC buddies.
I'm 30 and TTC baby number 1, I came off the pill beginning of May and had a withdrawal bleed a few days later then got my first AF 4 weeks after that. Last month I sadly had a chemical it was gutting seeing the faint line go but I guess it wasn't my time!
AF arrived on time Sunday so looks like my cycle ranges from 34-35 days.
I'm currently taking pregnacare and using the Ovia app for ovulation, I'm thinking if I don't concieve by month 6 I'll try ovulation sticks. Onward to month 4 I go 🤣

Oh also I'm not sure if you ladies remember me mentioning that my parents had a lot of trouble with TTC, I had a bit of a chat with my mum and she says it was mainly due to a combination of her having a tilted uterus (which I don't have) and my dad having lazy sperm, plus general issues of people not having good nutrition around the time (communist country in the 80s so there was a lack of diverse food groups I guess) - so hopefully none of this should affect me really🤞

Booked myself a reassurance scan for the 28th 👏🏼 a few days before I go on holiday and tell the in-laws 😆 want to make sure everything is ok before we spill the beans

I should be around 7+2 on the date of the scan hope they don't move me back 😅 I have long cycles though so sure they will

@Raizelrea literally don't feel pregnant at all 😅 keep stroking my tummy and feel like I'm pretending my bloat is a little baby podge 😂 apart from that just major tired!!

Just realised we are going away for the weekend with my parents, going to be so hard not to say anything 😬 especially when we go out for tea and I don't drink!

@Hewie30 any updates on your side? Did you do pg test ?

Unfortunately the pg was negative 🙄. Not sure what's going on but going to treat it as ovulation just incase. But will test again when I was going to before this ☺️.

@Hewie30 Sorry to hear that, that is strange! Would you normally have AF by now or is it still due to come?

@flossy12 Ah yes that might be tricky to hide! I suppose you can't stress about it too much, if they figure it out early maybe they were meant to know. That or you'll need to make sure everyone else is too drunk to notice what you're drinking 😄

@Raizelrea yeah we're only out for tea so I'll just try and blah it 😅 they know I don't drink alcohol while I'm eating anyway (just strange like that) so hopefully get away with it!

@Hewie30 I've just done my food shop rushing round to check in 🤣 still see it as positive if your cycle is usually 35 days or so it could still be early. But exactly, test next week again just in case and treat it as ovulation anyway 💖

@raizelea Thanks hun, I'm a bit gutted but still trying to be positive that this could be ovulation so I've dtd twice one yesterday and one day before just incase 🤞. Erm I'd be due on next week on the 20th so even if that was ovulation id only be 8dpo today so still would be early. It's so odd isn't it!!!

@flossy318 Haha bless you hun 🤣🤣🤣, sorry I couldn't bring you better news!! But positive thinking as you say. It could either be too early or late ovulation, either way I've caught ovulation or I'm pregnant 🤷

Sorry it was negative @Hewie30 x But you're not out till AF arrives! Well I'm 11/12 DPO today and had a negative on a cheapie. Due AF on Tuesday. Still really sore boobs and a bit of heartburn this morning. Also I could demolish a McD's meal right now lol !! Especially the cheese bites hahaha...I had really bizzare feeling yesterday which lasted for about 30 seconds, what felt like stitch pain in my left side just below my ribs, anyone had that? I have never felt that before!

@Hewie30 exactly I feel like you've got a win-win sitch there, my love! So hopefully you can wait til next week and retest and AF will stay away!!!

@Katie1109 keep the hope babe, you've still got quite a few more days! Will you test on Tues if no AF? Funny you should say that about McDs - OH met me after food shop and I got a bacon roll 🙈 not had the stitch feeling before, but hopefully someone has!

@katie1109 Thanks hun! Yeah that's exactly it I'm not out just yet and like Gigi said it's a win win situation it's either I've caught ovulation (very late or having a second surge) or my positive hasn't built yet ☺️.

Ahhh I would LOVE a MC ds right now 🤪. Oooo how strange! Hopefully it means something, I've never had it but have had some weird twinges?

@Gigi318 I am hoping, but to be fair I'm expecting my cycle this month being all over the place after mc last month. Although I am almost certain I felt my ovulation around 1-3 Sept x I will test on Tuesday if it does not arrive yes. I just had another one of those stitch pains few minutes ago. Really weird feeling, never had that before in my life! Anyone has any insight into those stitch pains?!

@Hewie30 I know, it's really weird lol. I had another one of those and that makes me wonder...

@Katie1109 Eeek hopefully it means something?! Maybe it's implantation? Keep an eye on your cm too just incase!! ♥️

@Hewie30 If I ovulated between 1-3 Sept I am now 10 - 12 DPO isn't it too late for the implantation? Does implantation feel like a stitch? And surely I wouldn't have it on 2 occasions? Once yesterday afternoon and now ? So confused and building up hope now lol x

@Katie1109 Naaah it's usually between 8 or 9dpo but can happen late up to 12dpo ☺️. I'm not quite sure what it feels like unfortunately but every person on here has says different and that it varies for person to person to you never know! 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤪

@Hewie30 all of us on the McDs hype 🤣 I'm feeling okay but the backache is still here. I though it was better when I first woke up, but no! So I have my b&m fluffy water bottle to comfort me for now 👌🏻

@Katie1109 sometimes it's a good thing for your cycle to be all over the place as you may get a nice surprise. I'm a firm believer that you know your body. I think mine was 3rd too - snap! And lots of these lovely ladies have said they ovulated before apps were saying, so not all concrete! Yay for Tuesday. I now only have 10 days to wait to test so that's good, slowly ticking down! That is bizarre. Is it high up or near womb area? Some say implantation can be 10-14dpo not just from 6. We're all different and if your cycle was slightly off, who knows - may just be a leisurely cluster making its way down 🤣👌🏻🤞🏻
