Any People taking a test August

Hi are there any people trying to conceive and Looking at testing this month? Would be nice to buddy up 😃. I have two boys aged 6 and 7 end recently stopped taking Microgynon (July). Can’t fully remember date of my last period, me and hubby thought we would take a relaxed approach but I am becoming obsessed! I am due on my period any day now but not had a positive test 😩. Not sure if I will have ovulated after being on pill for so long.

Haha me too-every time I pick my phone up! I’m even dreaming about pregnancy tests! I took a rapid response early detection test this morning- was negative. Gonna force myself to not retest until Wednesday if period hasn’t arrived xxx

Hey! I'm also trying this month, I'm currently 6 days late for my period but too scared to take a test! I took a test about 3 days before my period was actually due and it was BFN but I'm still hopeful as it was probably too early! I'm also aware I took a period delayer mid July and it might be affecting my cycle but it never has before I've always come on around the same time even after delaying it. Anyway fingers crossed for you guys too!! I think I might test on Wednesday this week I'll be a full week late by then... Fingers crossed 🤞 xx

I'm testing this month due next week sometime. I keep taking the one step things from amazon as I'm off on holiday on Friday so need to know if drinking is allowed hahah. All BFN at the moment but I still have 7 days to go xx

Hi, hope you don't mind me joining in! I am on first cycle TTC and will be testing in about a week. The wait is torture! Not expecting anything as it's early days TTC for us but I'm also finding myself here a lot!

Oh that is long bless you! Im normally very regular yes but I did delay my period in July for 4 days while I was away I'm trying to keep that in mind but... Even when I've delayed it before I've never been this late so fingers crossed! I'll test on Wednesday
Did you just come off of BC and are you tracking your ovulation?

I came off BC about 2 years ago but it took a year for my period to actually come back at all (depo - never again!). Have used condoms for a year and my cycle is regular now. We have married and done some travelling throughout those 2 years so feel that it's finally the right time. It sounds irrational because it's only cycle 1 but I'm terrified there will be something wrong!

Hello! I'll be testing this month, first month ttc baby number 2. One day late for my period but 2 negative tests so far. Have bought another cheapy to try in the morning as the other tests have been taken during the day. Fingers crossed for everyone! I'm so impatient 😂

Hi everyone. I'm testing this month too. TTC number 1 since May, but my period only came back the end of July so this is our first real month trying. AF is due 27/8 but I'm tempted to test using an early response on Wednesday (partly I'm impatient and partly because it's my birthday and it'd be the best present!) How does everyone cope with the 2WW? It's unbearable!

@jennylouisaa we can be testing partners as due about the same day! Trying to resist the urge to test early though!

@jennylouisaa I'll be 9dpo tomorrow so feel that it may be too soon and I'm a bit worried that if I test I'll just be disappointed! My app says that I ovulated on the 13th but I felt it on the 12th (short stabbing pains which I've been tracking each month) so I'm going by my knowledge of my own body rather than app!

@chelsea987 any sign of AF?

I tested with clear blue but BFN still no sign of my AF 7 days late now. Was having really stretchy sort of pains last night along with heartburn but now I feel like I'm going mental.
Have to wait and see, I'll buy a first response to take over the weekend

@Darell04 I know what you mean about it maybe being too early. I bought a 3 pack of FRER for a tenner online so going to do one tomorrow, one on Saturday and one on the 27th when AF is due!

@ellsbells112 sending positive thoughts! You're not out with a chance until AF.

What is everyone doing regarding things like caffeine/alcohol? I'm not going crazy and binging but I also don't want to put my life on hold so am still enjoying tea and coffee and the occasional glass of wine if I go out to eat or something. Is this bad? Has anyone completely cut it out?

I've cut out caffeine almost entirely, but only really because I get awful heart palpitations! It's my birthday tomorrow and we are going out for dinner and drinks so also wondering what people are doing about alcohol...
