AF/BFP due 17th July

Hello ladies,
I know there are already couple of threads open for aug, but thought would be nice to share the experience with anyone who's due similar time to myself.

AF due 17th Aug
I'm 30 years old
TTC cycle 2
CD 14 (of a average 25/26 day cycles)
I got positive OPK CD 11 through to CD13
We BD CD11 & CD 13
Been taking preconception vitamins & preseed

Convinced myself last cycle was the one by taking every twinge and symptoms as a positive.
This 2ww can drive you crazyHoping not to look into symptoms too much this time.
Anyone else out there just starting their TWW?
Hope to keep each other sane during this time.

@navyberry please don't get too worried about a short luteal phase. I got myself worked up mine was too short (9-12days) but clearly seems to be possible! And you have all good signs

@nova324 poor DP has had to go into a big meeting all morning. God knows what is going through his head! I feel that there is little point in me being in work - how am I supposed to be productive after this news!?!

I have got shingles! Went to the drs with a painful rash and feeling sick and hot and that's what it is! Soooo painful and it's right at the top of my thigh at the back so sitting hurts! Humph! Apparently stress brings it on so trying to chill today.
So I guess all my temps are null and void! No spotting or cramping since Tuesday. We shall see....

@SMiles14 oh noooo Shingles!!!! I hope you feel okay and are resting up at home. As it's a virus is there even much they can do?
On a positive though, you've had no cramps etc and only 2 days to go so fingers crossed that's positive!

@Greenwhale thank you! Curled up on the sofa on the side that doesn't hurt! They gave me anti virals so hopefully that will work soon. Caught it fairly early so should be ok soon. I didn't even know shingles was still a thing!

Hmmm I think I'm out ladies, started spotting today and just feel like af is on her way...
Never mind, will hopefully be fully recovered and well in time for my next fw.

Ahh @SMiles14 shingles sounds awful! Hope you make a full recovery soon
And I hope AF is not on her way to you!

Ive had a strange pulling and tingling sensation on my right hand side, thought it could possibly be implantation but not sure and thought there may have been some spotting with it so will just have to wait and see.

Not getting my hopes up, going to test tomorrow and will keep going until AF or BFP!x

@SMiles14 and @SunnySunshine1990 you aren't out until AF arrives! I had both spotting and cramps (and acne, grumpiness, general preAF symptoms) so you never know x

No really symptoms as of yet... 12 dpo....but have a feeling this isn't my month but not counting myself out till AF shows up. Will test on Saturday if no signs by then.
How are all you ladies getting on? Anyone tested or planning to test tomorrow?

Got a BFP this morning...!!! Am in shock. Going to test again in a few days because I don't quite believe it!

@littledinosaurs that's is amazing!!! Congratulations! wow! Just two cycles and you got there! How are you feeling? Have you told your DP?

@SunnySunshine1990 don't give your hopes up until af is here. What is your dpo?

I tested again today and I'm either starting seeing things or there is a hint of a line. Not enough to take a picture. Actually there was smth on all three cheap tests I did 😅10 dpo, no af and still a lot of feeling pregnant)))

Thank you @NavyBerry. Yes, DH keeps saying "I'm going to be a dad" and grinning and I keep saying "there's a long way to go" and grinning. We are v v lucky (in this instance - not usually, it has to be said!) and I just hope it continues.

I have sore boobs and have for a while but also feel mildly crampy like my period is coming. 🤷‍♀️

Fingers crossed for you all. I hope that line appears properly Navy.

Actually AF has come. So I'm out and I'm hoping these 'lines' don't appear at all. The least I want is a pregnancy with a heavy 'period' resulting in another miscarriage. It happened to me in May. I don't want to sound stupid but this is my real phobia now. Fingers crossed those lines were my imagination

My af has come full force today so back to cd1. My body obviously isn't in a good way so I'm not surprised!
Good luck to those with BFPS and I'll see the rest of you on the September bus! (Although hopefully not too many of you!)

Awk no @NavyBerry that's horrible. Sorry about your MC and it's totally normal to worry about that kinda thing doesnt make you stupid!

So guys I did a test this morning and I THINK its positive.. just dont really know whether to believe it tho cause it was a cheapy from poundland. Plan today is try not to drink too much and test again after work! Depending on that I'll buy a FRER eeek!!

@Nova324 ahh that's a beautiful positive test!!! Congratulations! what about getting a digital one? You won't have any doubts when you see it written in stone very happy for you! For how long have you been trying?

@SunnySunshine1990 some people don't get a BFP until way past 14dpo so don't count yourself out yet!

@littledinosaurs @nova324 huge congratulations!!! Both very strong positives! So lovely to hear your DPs excitement it made me chuckle! Good luck holding it together today! I work in healthcare and thankfully have a full book of patients today so it has kept me distracted and busy but yesterday was a different matter!

thanks girlies! I still just dont trust that test tho so trying not to get my hopes up. going to run out on my lunch and check for a FRER or digital that I can take later / tomorrow AM. do you need to take them with FMU?

but I'm hoping that first test is right!

It doesn't say you HAVE to take it with FMU but it's probably best if you can. Most likely to have the strongest line.
