AF/BFP due 17th July

Hello ladies,
I know there are already couple of threads open for aug, but thought would be nice to share the experience with anyone who's due similar time to myself.

AF due 17th Aug
I'm 30 years old
TTC cycle 2
CD 14 (of a average 25/26 day cycles)
I got positive OPK CD 11 through to CD13
We BD CD11 & CD 13
Been taking preconception vitamins & preseed

Convinced myself last cycle was the one by taking every twinge and symptoms as a positive.
This 2ww can drive you crazyHoping not to look into symptoms too much this time.
Anyone else out there just starting their TWW?
Hope to keep each other sane during this time.

I think I will wait until Friday.. I usually use the cheap strips (I have about 30 ha!) but got a couple of first response tests and a clear blue digital test too #obsessed! I will save the digital until I am super sure though x

Testing on Wednesday, 1 day before AF is due. Have got too many cheapies and one digital Clear Blue for emergency proof testing

everyone is doing so well to not test yet! even if it is early I know sometimes the urge is too much lol.

I have had ZERO symtoms for anything.. AF or BFP. so dont know whats going on this month. @Greenwhale I'm the same as you tho I usually get a day or two of spotting then it stops for a few days then AF shows up.

Im just hoping if no BFP this month AF turns up on time-ish as this will have been my longest cycle at nearly 40 days and wanna start a new cycle asap lol

Morning ladies! I've had a metallic taste in my mouth all morning, need to stop googling as it's getting my hopes up!

Trying to be cool, my boyfriend is getting really excited asking when we can test!

Has anyone been checking CM? Mine has been creamy consistency each day xx

In my dream last night I tested and got a very strong BFP. Do you believe in signs? I don't but it was still a nice dream. Let's keep ourselves busy this week to keep mind off testing

@Nova324 I am sooooooo desperate to test !! Wasted a good hour of my life yesterday debating whether to buy a FRER off Amazon as it wouldn't arrive until Weds so the earliest I would be able to use is Thurs so it would stop me testing early, but then decided against it incase I spot/AF arrives in the interim and then the delivery would make me sad haha. Can't keep any in the house routinely as I have no self control....

@SunnySunshine1990 I love how excited your boyfriend is! Mine knows I will find out at some point this week but that's about it! I've heard the metallic taste as a sign but I am always dubious about signs as AF/BFP always sound so similar. My CM is also creamy but I've never monitored it on any other cycle so have no clue what normal is!

@NavyBerry the number of baby dreams I have is crazy! Usually of other people having babies/BFP though and not me so that must have been nice! Fx it's a premonition

How is everyone filling? I have been having cramps that are very much similar to pre-AF. But my temperature is a bit higher than usual. I'm waiting for tomorrow but I'm pretty sure it is too early to show anything: 8 dpo/1 day before AF.

My previous experience was that I got implantation during a quite heavy period so I guess I don't believe in anything

not too bad @NavyBerry I havent really had any symptoms apart from a sore back yesterday andI I was SOOO hungry all day. getting a few spots today so could be AF on her way I guess. I dont think Im due AF til sat so not gonna test until at least then! do you think youll test tomorrow?

haha @Greenwhale have you managed to hold off testing? ive had a few baby dreams too and last week had a dream about a BFP also even in it I was like no way!!! lol

Im on 10dpo and going mad! I'm 29 (just) and ttc for our first. Been trying since January and had one mmc.
I have had cramps the last 2 days but they are quite constant and one sided. Temps still above coverline but I have been sleeping so badly so I'm not really relying on them too much.
I ordered some Frer off Amazon yesterday but going to try and hold off til Af is actually late this time.
The only weird dream I had was where my DH bought a stupid car that was in no way suitable for a baby and I got soooo mad!! Cant remember if I actually had a baby or was just forward planning in the dream :D

@Nova324 I definitely will! But my test is only 20mme. Worried it is not sensitive enough

@NavyBerry did you say you had heavy bleeding last time around your implantation?

I'm now 10 dpo- no real symptoms still except I woke up in a flood of sweat last night, which I've never had happen before. Today I've had some creamy cm which has only started today and this is around the time I'm predicted to implant.

Normally week leading up to AF my boobs are really sore (normally have to hold them down when going over bumps in the car )
Which hasn't happened yet

@Mezza610 last time I discovered I was pregnant in the middle of my next cycle, closer to the ovulation date. Before the af the pregnancy test had been negative. It was truly weird.

@NavyBerry eeek I'm excited for tomorrow for you!! I have no real clue when I ovulated but going to defo test friday and I think I will be roughly around 11 DPO. I've been a crank today, typical for week before AF so we shall see x

ahhhh @NavyBerry excited for you to test.. I wanna test so bad but just know theres no point rn all ive got is vvvv.cheapy ones! so just gonna live through you for that and try hard to wait til the weekend!

@SMiles14 your dream seems pretty good, definitely something that could happen, did you wake up annoyed at him? those dreams are so real sometimes! are you due AF on sat then?

cant believe so many of us are so similar rn Im 28 about to be 29 in less than a month and 10DPO too! Fx we can get some BFPs on this thread!

Yes I'm due on af on Saturday too, i'm going to my friends birthday bbq that day so will either be drowning my sorrows or super giddy and trying to hide it!
I was so mad at him when I woke up, it is honestly something he would do haha it felt so real! 😳

These cramps are doing my head in. Every time I'm tempted to test I remind myself it's £3 down the drain and that usually stops me!

So I sarted spotting today which always happens 2 days before AF (due Thurs) so I'm out and feeling really gutted . Really thought it was finally our month. Bought some FRER last night as well to use on Thurs so feel that I jinxed it.

DP is away for a big trip now until mid-Oct so at least I can step back obsessing with Opk etc for a few cycles I guess which might be a good thing.

Fx for you all to get a BFP!

@SunnySunshine1990 I have cramps, generally AF type feeling so pretty much sure. Although after my initial dispair I did think I suppose it could be implantation as I'm only 9po but still think it's very unlikely, especially when I have such a short luteal phase. Will see what the next few days hold before wasting my expensive tests though. Poor DP is gutted and blaming himself which is making me also sad - why do they instill into our heads as teenagers that all we need to do is to look at a boy to get pregnant!!!

@NavyBerry I've heard many people having cramps before their BFP so don't lose faith yet!

8 dpo, af is due tomorrow. Two tests are crystal clear 😕 still waiting

Hey all - I'm in the same boat as you. Ttc #1, 29, only on cycle 2. AF due tomorrow as I'm on CD 40 and my longest ever has been 41. I have bloody long irregular cycles and it's the worst. BUT I think we dtd a few times around ovulation (accidentally) so crossing everything.

Can I ask - what's the app you're all using that shows your OPK lines??

I use Flo and WomanLog Pro. Prefer the last one.

Welcome @littledinosaurs! I only use Flo and clue but neither read opks for you. Think I might get the clear blue ones if nothing happens in the next couple of cycles though as I'm losing faith but it's just so expensive! Are you planning to test tomorrow?

@NavyBerry sorry it's a bfn but it's still super early! I think the chance of AF arriving tomorrow at 9po must surely be very slim though unless you have a really short LP? Is that normal for you?
