Oh I hope you are ok @wannabemum38 I get anxiety too, so I can understand how you feel. Try not to put too much pressure on yourself about needing to get a job, maybe that's why you felt so anxious?
Have you tried meditation? I find it really helps me. I follow guided ones on an app called Breethe.

Well my ovulation sticks today have been light again......I had hoped they were getting darker. Really weird. Trying not to over think it.

wannabemum38 · 13/08/2019 18:28

@HappyGirl86 Yes I do meditation regularly but nothing was working last night dont understand it things have been so good lately. I have just chilled today applied for some more part time jobs and mediated and just relaxed. Hopefully tonight wont be the same.

Thats annoying about your ov sticks is it possible you missed the surge?

Blossomingflower94 · 13/08/2019 19:27

@wannabemum38 I think sometimes everything can be so overwhelming its difficult to keep perspective. Focusing on your up and coming trip could be helpful but I know if its me, no matter what i've got to look forward to I just can't shake 'the feeling' ... so difficult to describe!! Hope you've felt better today!

HappyGirl86 · 13/08/2019 19:29

I don't think I've missed the surge as I was testing every day, sometimes twice a day. According to my app I'm not into my fertile period yet until Thursday so will just keep testing and see

Blossomingflower94 · 13/08/2019 20:33

@Luxoire Let us know how you get on :)

MrsSkr · 14/08/2019 00:05

Hi everyone 😊
@HappyGirl86 those were definitely getting darker! I see they got lighter again today though? Did you do them at the same time of day? I dont know if it matters the same as using fmu in preg tests? I did use them last time around but never really knew what I was doing, just peed and hoped for the best Haha! I'd keep testing and see what happens over the coming days, and maybe just dtd anyway?

@wannabemum38 what a special time to get your bfp! I have every confidence it will happen for you, you'd never forget that trip!!
I'm really sorry about your anxiety attack, I really hope you are feeling better. I have anxiety troubles too and it can be awful. Look after yourself.

@Luxoire thank you, I got on well last night. Getting it out went better than expected (I couldnt really remember last time and was thinking the worst) Iv been having some cramps today, mainly mild but occasionally quite sore but no bleeding yet so shall just need to wait. You can get pregnant without a withdrawal bleed/period from mirena but I dont want to do that so looking forward to getting on track. I agree, I had to get the mirena as treatment for endometriosis so I was glad to be rid of those symptoms but there does come a point when you just want to have cycles and feel 'normal'.

Xx

HappyGirl86 · 14/08/2019 09:00

I'm glad it's went ok @MrsSkr friends have said it's much easier getting it out than having it fitted. I know what you mean about wanting everything to settle and have normal periods, I felt like that when I came off the pill. As much as I hate periods, it's nice to see my body is working normally haha

I'm doing the sticks roughly the same time- one in the morning and one in the evening. I heard that the hormone is usually higher in an evening.
I'm still DTD anyway, and according to my app my most fertile period starts tomorrow, so will see if that changes anything.
Just been googling and some people say the sticks never showed positive for them but they still got pregnant so that's reassuring anyway. I didn't use them when I had my daughter- I was lucky to get pregnant first month trying and I just DTD in my fertile period.
Not sure I'll be so lucky to get pregnant that quickly again!

Luxoire · 14/08/2019 14:01

@Destiny25 strange indeed ...hmmm hopefully it is just readjusting to the withdrawal of the hormones, let me know how it goes...that would drive me mad getting all those symptoms and no postive test or AF to show for it ahahahah

@wannabemum38 awww hun I am sorry to hear about your anxierty. Do you feel you may be putting too much pressure on yourself or worrying too much? Easier said than done though can you try to relax and maybe try meditation suggested here? and I am sure your DP will be ok with paying the rent for a while until you are fit to some some kind of work

@MrsSkr ohh i am glad it went ok and IT IS OUT!! now all we have to look forward withdrawal symptoms and then the much celebrated period! let me know how you get on

@Blossomingflower94 well interestingly my app says i am at my most fertile now with ovulation on CD14 which is Friday. I have just done and OB test stick and i thought i could see the faintest line - but I maybe imagining it...i willtry another one tomorrow - we are going away tomorrow so i probably wont have time to test again till evening or Friday lol - once i have smuggled my test sticks into the bag and room.

Usually my discharge changes (sorry for TMI) to a clear stretchy one and I have still not had that. I may amend my app (if possible)

WHAT APP IS EVERYONE USING? RECOMMENDS? xx

Luxoire · 14/08/2019 14:22

Actually I was imagining the line...there is NOTHING showing on thereConfused 2 days to ovulation and nothing is showing!

@Luxoire I am using OVIA app. It says my fertile period starts tomorrow and still no positive ovulation stick and no egg white discharge. Trying not to get worried, but I am a little

wannabemum38 · 14/08/2019 14:40

@MrsSkr Yea it would be a special trip indeed. The question is can I hold out til then to test lol had pelvic pains on left side last two days and back ache and been doing positive meditation to think positively we will see.. no anxiety last night listened to my usual meditation YouTube video and feel asleep before it finished.

@Luxoire Yes probably putting pressure on myself in all areas. I'm older than my DP only by three years but he understands time is not on my side and it will probably take a while to get pregnant. Plus got the job hunt and house hunt ongoing too it's all happening! Going to need this trip next week.

I use Ovia have done for ages to track periods and now to conceive it's pretty accurate only out by a day for my ovulation this month also downloaded premom to track my opk tests

Blossomingflower94 · 14/08/2019 15:04

@luxoire bizarre. That's why you have to do them twice a day I suppose. I'm on CD6 and just done my first one with a faint line showing. On nights for the next two nights so will have to remember to test 🤣 fingers crossed I don't spike early ovulation or shifts will mess up this month!

Enjoy your getaway ☺️

Blossomingflower94 · 14/08/2019 15:05

Also @luxoire download the premom app and you can log photos of your opk's x

HappyGirl86 · 14/08/2019 15:09

@wannabemum38 where does ovia tell you when you are expected to ovulate? Mine just has a "fertile period" but not a specific day for ovulation.

wannabemum38 · 14/08/2019 15:51

@HappyGirl86 there should be a fertility forecast and during your fertile period it gives a fertility score which on your most fertile day goes up to 10.
I've posted a screenshot of what mine looks like now if that helps.

wannabemum38 · 14/08/2019 15:55

@HappyGirl86 I then presume on the highest fertile day I will ovulate but I got my positive opk test a day earlier than my high fertility score but if you log that in it then adjusts the chart. It's only a rough guide anyway cos everyone ovulated at different cycle days. I started testing on cd10 I think at start of my fertile period according to Ovia and got my positive opk on cd14

HappyGirl86 · 14/08/2019 16:34

Ahh it makes sense now! Thanks!!!

Chaosonthehorizon · 14/08/2019 17:37

Hoping for number 3 this month, also two CS’s so far and so far will be a 3.5 yr gap between 2 and 3

Chaosonthehorizon · 14/08/2019 17:44

Planning to use CB OPK’s (so expensive but only ones in local shop), says to test from CD7 for my length of cycle! Better bloody work!

Luxoire · 14/08/2019 17:49

@HappyGirl86 and @wannabemum38 i am totally downloading Ovia app now and transferring my info now...thanks ladies

@Chaosonthehorizon hahhaha sounds just like my situation...expect thwre will be just under 4yrs between my 2 and 3rd if my plan works lol

@Luxoire we are only a day difference!
It's a good app so far.

Hello! @dancingqueen03 nice to have you here. I got a period as I was about to go into my 4th week after stopping it. I was also on the mini pill. My friend got her period after about 4 weeks too. So hopefully yours will be on it's way soon! How have you found it? I felt rubbish when I came off mine, but when I came off it a few years ago to have my daughter, I didn't get any side effects so it must vary!

Chaosonthehorizon · 14/08/2019 18:53

luxoire are you worried about the little one being left out. Four CS not an option, even if DH keen!
