Fresh off the mini pill today-hoping for BFP Oct/Nov 2019 for a Summer 2020 Baby. NEED A BUDDY?

Off the mini pill (Noriday) today looking for a BFP ideally Oct/Nov 2019 for a Summer 2020 baby - so during the holidays when other kids are on Hols so i don't have to worry about the school run as will most likely have a CS

We will be using condoms but i know anything is possible from when I am off the pill

Morning everyone! How are you all? Hope all well, sorry I haven't been following since being away. I did see the need for one BIG CONGRATULATIONS though @doubl great news on your bfp. Where is everyone else? Anyone nearing testing time?
In all honesty, if had a major wobble. Couple of days before holiday my anxiety got really bad, imagining all sorts of terrible things that could go wrong while we were away (was our first holiday abroad with our dd) then I start thinking maybe im not ready for another baby, so much so I actually started hoping I wouldn't get pg this month. So now I'm really confused, a bit scared but now I'm back, I think a tiny bit hopeful again, really dont know how I feel.

I think I'm 9 or 10dpo. I got my positive opk but then stopped testing so didnt get a neg one and kept getting ewcm for a few days after so jot sure when I actually ov. We only dtd once but I think I prob ov 2 or 3 days after that so jot sure on my chances. I suppose time will tell xx

@MrsSkr I'm totally with you on having a wobble! I keep going from "I NEED another child" to " I'm finally starting to get some of my life back, do I really want to go through all that again". Hope your holiday goes okay, how old is DD? I just took my one year old DS away and it really wasn't to back; top tip - take reins!x

@MrsSkr I think we'd all be lying if we say we domt all have a wobble...i temd to have about 2 or 3 a day lol....in my head I tell myself all the reasons why another would be a hassle..but then part of me feela 3 would comolete my family! So ur not alome hun. Hugs...glad you are back though xxx

I am in my fertile period...i have gone from nothing on my ppl to a colour on my test line just now even thought it is strong enough to be a positive but maybe a positive will come with this evening's test or tomorrow perhaps?! We dtd Thursday then last night ..hoping for tonight or tomorrow or Tuesday and i thi k that will cover my fertile period and ovulation day..then after that its a waiting game

Still nothing from me, still negative still, still no AF, still got some marbles left in me tho!
I've just had a word with myself, AF will come sooner or later no point stressing over it, and now really isn't the time as we are moving in with my parents next week for a few month for one last push on our mortgage, so I'm actually hoping AF comes. All the things we go thru aye.

Hi guys! I hope I can sneak in here and join in the chat as we are now trying for our first baby!

I came off the minipill (cerazette) at the end of August and had one normal-ish period at the end of September. I have found the withdrawal symptoms coming off the pill to be brutal so far, and had definitely not missed the painfully sore boobs that I seem to get before my period starts!

Based on symptoms and timings I think I'm ovulating this weekend so have been trying to get DH to DTD each day! Fingers crossed!

@Destiny25 aww thanks hun...have ypur periods been regular? Could you maybe be having a longer cycle?

@Konbanwa welcome hun...the more the merrier! I think we'll both be testing round about same time as I'm in my fertile window now...so should start my 2ww from weds!
I know right!! Withdrawal symptoms are a bitch...i had nausea, migraines..the works! My DH is convinced this is his last so is even considering a vasectomy so I wont have to use B.C. again

@Luxoire YES! The withdrawal symptoms are evil, plus the fact that I hadn't even had a period for about 5 years (thanks cerazette!), my first cycle was awful. I have been feeling quite sorry for myself with how much my body seems to be going haywire!

This will be my first TWW and I'm already wishing the time away! Ha!

Might go and invest in some first response tests next weekend but I don't want to tempt myself into testing too early!

@Kiki275 Thank you, I'm so glad in not the only one. I dont understand, I was so ready and so excited then all of a sudden my anxiety went through the roof and I'm actually terrified incase I am pregnant! We are back from holiday now, got back yesterday but just got home tonight as we live 6 hours from the airport so stayed there last night. My dd is almost 3, she had the best time, just loved every second of it! @Luxoire Thank you too, I'm sure it was just a wobble and I'll be fine once I get back to our normal routine. So I have no pg tests at home so just used my last opk... this is the result. I know it's not the same but have read that opks can pick up pregnancy too. I think I'm around 10dpo roughly...what are your opinions? I'm undecided whether to get a test tomorrow (probably will) or wait for my missed period. xxx

@Destiny25 I'm still in the same position, day 35 and no AF. Never ever been late, never missed a period except whilst on the pill or pregnant, cycles have always returned to normal straight away previously... So confused. What day are you on?

@MrsSkr Hey lady, the wobbles are nerve wracking aren't they? I think completely normal though! It's a huge thing to bring another child into your family, but your daughter will adapt just fine, and after a while you won't be able to imagine your life any other way. Glad you had a lovely holiday! I can't advise on the opk. I have no idea how that works sorry!

I'm on cd34, my longest cycles have lasted up to 32.
Negative tests so I don't believe I'm pregnant, she'll probably show her face this week I'm hoping.
Have you tested?

Hi @Konbanwa looks like were around the same time too.

My Af should finish any day and my app says I am fertile from Saturday, extra bonus my daughter is away for the weekend at her aunties, so I think a date night this weekend with the Dh.

Going to start doing the ovalation tests but really need to sit down and give the leaflet a read through.

@Destiny25 I'm in same boat, 4 neg tests but currently on cd32, opk test said I ovulated on day 10
Currently got very light brown spotting

@destiny25 I last tested Saturday morning which would have been day 33, so no chance of a false negative surely? I don't know what to do, or how long to just keep waiting? I'm going to watch my cm and get some ovulation sticks I think. Something has got to become obvious sooner or later I guess!

@Zm2019 Hey! Yes it looks like we might be testing around the same time.

I tried to use my first opk this morning but I messed up because I didn't have a pot/cup. Ended up failing at the first attempt 😂 I'm going to take it as a sign that I'm not ready for OPKs at the moment! 😅

Based on my symptom checking (cvm and soreness of boobs) and cycle timings I think I'm coming out of my fertile window now so should be testing around w/c 21st! Eeeeeep!

@MrsSkr i have read the same with pregnancy tests on opk..not sure how accurate they are though - maybe wait till you get a pregnancy test? or order some cheapies on Amazon next/same day delivery?.. glad you're ok hun, i know it is just a wobble - i had one this morning lol STANDARD. I am hoping once i get my BFP they will go away cos i will just realise one way or another baby is on the way - no turning back - lol i guess now the option of NOT GETTING PREGNANT is not helping lol

Thanks girls, just tested and bfn here. Surprisingly I was a little disappointed. Still time though, no sign of AF either. Looks very close @Luxoire! I'd say that could be positive tonight or tomorrow xx

Thanks hun...well my test this evening about 6pm seems lighter ...wonder if ovulation is past now? I will see what tomorrow's test says

@Luxoire The second test definitely looks lighter so your peak may have already been.

I finally got the hang of an opk tonight and had a v faint second line which matched where I think I am in my cycle! Hopefully I caught it at the right time! 🤞

Looks like we are all having fun with opks god they scare the life out of me so frustrating trying to understand/ guess if it's positive or not

So this week I though I was in the tww, just looking at my Flo app it's only predicted me a 24 day cycle 🧐 the last 2 periods since off the pill have been 28 days and 3 days long.. so it's strange it's saying I'm so low on a cycle this time .. I'm worried Iv missed my ovulation now!! Guess all I can do is wait o should be due Saturday/Sunday this week ( secretly hoping af doesn't arrive me and oh have a date weekend booked 🙈)

@dancingqueen03 thats funny..some apps ask u to recalculate ypur cycle and dates once u enter new info...my Ovia app asks me if i want to update based on any new info..if i don't click yes it stays same...so make sure ur app updates itself or u do it manually...xx

@konbanwa well done hun..they are tricky...following my thoights above i vlicked yes and Ovia recalculated my cycle showing i ovulated at the weekend which would have been in line with my cm...but not my opks...ohhh I give up...feel like ive missed my ovulation this month...will try to dtd onnce and then my 2ww starts...its hard and I'm not even in a great mood...#crankyhormonalwoman

@Luxoire That sounds super confusing! Hopefully you manage to catch it in time and that your OPKs and ovia tracking start to match up!

How are you finding Ovia? I'm trying to decide between that and Flo but haven't yet taken the plunge on either...

Currently cd33, 23 DPO, 9 days late according to my app (got peak ovulation day 10)
4 preg tests spaced out over last week or so have been neg
I've just had 3 days of very light brown spotting
Been consistently doing my temp throughout and today's has dropped a lot although they had consistently been going up since ovulation
I have no idea what's going on anymore 😢
