Fresh off the mini pill today-hoping for BFP Oct/Nov 2019 for a Summer 2020 Baby. NEED A BUDDY?

Off the mini pill (Noriday) today looking for a BFP ideally Oct/Nov 2019 for a Summer 2020 baby - so during the holidays when other kids are on Hols so i don't have to worry about the school run as will most likely have a CS

We will be using condoms but i know anything is possible from when I am off the pill

I'm feeling lots better today, was just having an off day yesterday. Although I am a bit gutted. After feeling so irritable and down yesterday, I got bad cramps and backache last night then just before bed I had some pink spotting and really thought AF had arrived (albeit a week early)
I was so excited to start a new month but nope, nothing today! xx

Well at least I can still find it and you guys

@mrsSkr, don't be too disheartened, same happened to me on Sunday night then there was nothing Monday Tuesday but today AF seems to have arrived! I'm so glad, never thought I'd say that! Hopefully the same will happen for you in the next day or two

At first I was confused by them @dancingqueen03 and thinking they weren't working for me but then all of a sudden I got a positive one and then they made sense haha
I think they are simple really and I was just making it complicated in my head.
If you start using them straight away you can compare then.

Everything I've read (not that much admittedly) says to do opk tests mid day ish (ie not first thing), is it not ideal to do them first thing as I work and don't really want to be fannying around with them in the work loos

I had nothing this morning must of been dodgy tests, so I'm fully prepared for AF this weekend.
I had a sharp stabbing pain yesterday followed by pulling/pinching on my left side I convinced myself it was late implantation 🤦🏻‍♀️😂
It had been doing it all day, but now I'm thinking it's the witch on her way!

That pulling sensation is what I've felt @Destiny25 so it still could be!

@HappyGirl86 whoop whoop I saw the line better on the firat test...congratulations gurl... I'm praying it all goes well for you. Looks like you have set the tone...

My AF turned up last night (2 days earlier than Ovia says) and she ia still here not as heavy as she has been before ap far but she's here...if she last jer normal 5-7 days then hopefully. We can come ofd condoms and juat use my cycle for the nezt 2 months to prevent baby until we are ready?! That'll keep OH happy and can let me concentrate on. Working out cycle and ovulation the next 2/3 months lol every cloud!
Also I normally have bad cramps with AF but so far nothing...the migraine came back yesterday but ia just a dull headache now..so hopefully that is gone too. The tiredness is still lingering though

Ohhh I am excited for us all...

Thanks @Luxoire I felt absolutely shattered since I came off the pill, I mean it's tiring anyway having a 3 year old but it's been something else. Just shows how hormones can affect you!
Would it be the worst if you got pregnant straightaway?

@Happygirl86 no it wouldnt be the worst..which is what i said to DH when he was whinging about the condoms...the only difficulty is that paternity leave is 2 weeks. And my first 2 were EMCS so thia one is likely going to be CS and we have little to no support network here. So the main thing is doing the school and nursery run (2 drop off about 10 mins away from each other and then 10 mins away from home) driving that route for drop offs and pick ups twice a day with a c section wound and a new baby will be excruciating. Where if i had baby in the summer hols I'd have atleast 4 weeks at home to recover before school resumes by which time the middle one will be in reception and they'll both be in same school..so easier all round!.. But it wouldn't be that bad now I am getting prepared for it

@HappyGirl86 the tiredness reminded me of what pregnancy is like...crikey almost off putting..like I'd literally have to sit down every few mins and then I'd literally dose off on the sofa..thank goodness I took this week off work to spend time with the kids..cos it would have been agony lol

My worst pregnancy symptom is heartburn!! Gosh I'm shuddering just thinking about it..lol

I know what you mean @Luxoire I had an emergency c section with my daughter- the recovery is more complicated. Luckily my mum helps me with childcare.

@Luxoire oh god I get heartburn for pms symptoms I hope it’s not worse in pregnancy 😭
I use that method of contraception- condoms only during fertile week, however if your app was wrong at predicting AF isn’t it going to be wrong at predicting ovulation?

That being said if you’re not bothered about conceiving sooner then it doesn’t matter anyway haha

@CouscousEvaporator ohhh deer hopefully you're used to the heartburn or u wont get it in pregnancy mine got so bad i was foing through about 1 bottle of gaviscon every 2 days lol Hahahha

I think my Ovia app was wrong this month because it is the first period since i stopped the pill...tbf my periods have never really been rrgular...my cycles run anywhere from 27 -30 days but that was on the pill...i am hoping to use opks to track ovulation and use condoms only in that fertile week or abstain altogether lol hahaha if not then it wont be so bad getting preggers.

@HappyGirl86 thats great that your mum ia kn hand tl help. My mum works full time in London and we are in bedforshire so she can only take sk much time off. My MIL is abroad and may come for a month but there is no twlling qhen that will be lol..so cant rely on her just plan arpund ourselves and schedules...

I get terrible heartburn most of the time. I've been the doctors before but he didn't seem that bothered. When I had my little girl it was bad as well, nothing seems to help!

@Happygirl86 have u got heartburn now? That and being able to smell my neighbour's dinner 10 doors down are all early pregnancy symptoms for me....eek I'm excited for you
