@HappyGirl86 I'm fine now, it was so random. Just pains on and off in my boobs belly and back now 🤷🏻‍♀️ they couldn't of made pregnancy and af symptoms different to make it easier could they!

Have you had any other symptoms?

hermionelodge · 26/08/2019 16:46

Hi, I'm a bit late to the party but can I join? I'm 30 and ttc for the first time. I just came off the mini pill (cerazette) a week past Saturday and bow
waiting for my withdrawal bleed! I thought it started last night but after the initial bleed (Sorry, a bit tmi) there was barely any through the night and nothing so far today! Did anyone else experience that? Surely that's not it and I will have a proper withdrawal bleed? I feel this is going to be a long and confusing journey!

HappyGirl86 · 26/08/2019 17:38

Hi @hermionelodge ! Nice to have you hear! Good luck with your journey. I guess that could have been your withdrawal bleed.....it can be so random!
When I came off my pill to have my daughter, I didn't really get a withdrawal bleed, just what seemed like a normal period and then I got pregnant.
This time I'd be off it for 3-4 weeks before I had what I'm hoping was a normal period again.

HappyGirl86 · 26/08/2019 17:39

Hear?! I meant here.....gosh I must be tired!

hermionelodge · 26/08/2019 21:13

Thanks @happygirl. It's just so strange, I still have cramps and have been feeling a bit sick and dizzy all day so I guess this is the symptoms of coming off the pill. Wow that happened really quickly for you last time. I hope I'm as lucky. Wishing you lots of luck this time for a quick BFP!

HappyGirl86 · 26/08/2019 21:42

Thanks @hermionelodge the first time I came off the pill I have to say I had no symptoms! This time it was much harder (4 years later) and I felt so crappy. I had a horrible migraine and also painful cramps.
However some people say hormones can affect you differently if you have already had a child- not sure how true this is.
Makes me think I won't be going back on the pill again!
Fingers crossed for a nice smooth TTC journey for you Smile

MrsSkr · 26/08/2019 21:51

Oh @Destiny25 and @claireb707 dont worry, it doesnt mean it's a no yet.
It's so annoying how pregnancy and af symptoms can be so similar, just likes to play games with our minds!
Welcome @hermionelodge, I cant help as I wasnt on the pill but I'll keep my fingers crossed for you getting your af soon so you can join in the fun!
I'm currently torturing myself, watching One born every minute and bursting into tears every time a baby is born! I don't know why I do it xx

Destiny25 · 27/08/2019 06:53

@MrsSkr tell me about it, I've got the boobs the cramps the backache, I usually get all apart from the boobs, did a test this morning just because it was there n I feel I can see the smallest of lines in a certain angle and a certain squint 😂. I'm just going to wait for the witch to arrive now hopefully she won't keep me waiting.

Destiny25 · 27/08/2019 06:55

@hermionelodge I can't help really as I was on the implant, but I did have sickness, headaches, fatigue and sore boobs for the first 2 weeks coming off that.

CouscousEvaporator · 27/08/2019 07:15

Hi everyone
Can I join? You all seem to share my thoughts!!
I am TTC number 1 in October. I would try sooner but am trying to avoid giving birth at a wedding where I am a bridesmaid 😂
We are just using condoms/natural family planning at the moment and I already feel like I symptom spot even though there’s no chance I am actually prego. 🙄 at least I know to ignore it all now hey?!

I’ve been using opks just to pass the time and figured out I ovulate later than my apps say. So I guess being a keener has its upsides as I feel more prepared now!

I’ve never had sore boobs though - that’s supposed to be a really good sign isn’t it? Fingers crossed!

HappyGirl86 · 27/08/2019 08:14

Hi! @CouscousEvaporator welcome! The more the merrier.
Exciting times! Have you got your bridesmaid dress? What's it like? Smile
My friend got married and her sister was one of the bridesmaids, she ended up being due on the day of the wedding! She had the baby 4 days before the wedding and still came with tiny baby in hand in her bridesmaids. They did go to bed early but who can blame her! This was her second child so she was a bit more clued up, and she had a fairly straightforward birth.
I had an emergency c section so I couldn't have imagined being a bridesmaid 4 days after!!!!

MrsSkr · 27/08/2019 08:22

Oh @Destiny25 that's so exciting! I have a good feeling! Piss off AF...your not welcome!! Do you have a pic.. I love nothing more than scrutinizing other people's tests lol.

Welcome @CouscousEvaporator. You sound very similar to me, there us no way I could be pregnant but still been symptom spotting and even done a couple of tests just for fun. Think using opks is a good idea to track, then you'll be so much more prepared when the time comes xx

HappyGirl86 · 27/08/2019 08:55

Well if this gas/wind isn't related to pregnancy then I'll need to go and see my doctor when AF arrives......I even have IBS and I've never had wind this bad. So weird!

MrsSkr · 27/08/2019 09:00

@HappyGirl86 Wind is definitely a pregnancy symptom! Omg uoubare all going to get your bfps!!!!

MrsSkr · 27/08/2019 09:00

*you are

HappyGirl86 · 27/08/2019 09:18

Is it too early to be a pregnancy symptom though @MrsSkr I don't remember any of this first time around!

MrsSkr · 27/08/2019 09:48

@HappyGirl86 I looked back at my Ovia from my last pregnancy and I had listed Gas, bloating and constipation from 5dpo! Might be coincidence as I'd have thought that too early too but I think it's a hormonal thing rather than a physical thing so maybe? That carried on for me until I needed to get medication to help when I was about 12 weeks pg. When are you testing?

Im feeling pretty pants today tbh. Dont know what's going on. I'm crampy, have backache, I'm knackered. I'm really grumpy today, feel really emotional and irritable. I feel crap cos iv been so grumpy to my poor wee girl. I'm wondering if this could be signs of AF but I thought it a but early, not due until the weekend xx

HappyGirl86 · 27/08/2019 09:51

I sometimes think hormones can play a part in our moods no matter what time of the months @MrsSkr sending hugs.....I hate it when I feel like that! Sometimes it's really hard to snap out of it isn't it. I know the feeling well.
Can you get out in the fresh air? Sometimes it's the last thing you feel like doing but it does make you feel better.
I'm only 8 DPO so think I'd better try and wait until Thursday to test.

MrsSkr · 27/08/2019 10:03

Yeh you're right, just one of those days I'm sure. It is really hard to snap out of it, it sucks! Iv just got my girl down for her nap so think I'll chill for half an hour then go get showered and sorted ready to head out when she wakes up. Shes been asking to go crabbing at the harbour since last week and we still haven't been so might do that.

Hey Thurs isn't long to wait at all! Do you have a FRER? I cant wait to hear how it goes xx

HappyGirl86 · 27/08/2019 10:26

Ahhh that sounds like a nice day, once you're out having fun together I bet you'll feel a bit better. Get yourself some cake or something yummy Smile

I have got an early test ready.....I'm trying not to get my hopes up but it's hard!

Destiny25 · 27/08/2019 12:20

@HappyGirl86 @MrsSkr how you both doing?
I read last night that you have symptoms untill 10dpo as it's your progesterone levels that make you think you have these symptoms etc.
I don't know how true that is tho?

I've been testing with first response (only the one that you can use on the day of your missed period typical me!)

I feel pressure down there so I think AF will be in full swing by the weekend.

HappyGirl86 · 27/08/2019 12:27

Hi @Destiny25 don't lose hope until AF arrives!

I feel so hungry at the moment but again, first cycle since being off the pill, maybe that's a symptom of that.
Still full of gas/wind and a pulled muscle sensation in my lower tummy every now and then. That pulling sensation absolutely reminds me of being pregnant with my daughter although I didn't feel it this early- maybe I'm imagining it.

Destiny25 · 27/08/2019 12:30

@HappyGirl86 I was windy last night haha! All I can remember from my last pregnancy was feeling like AF but then it just never turning up. And constipated but I get that until the day of my period usually.
Maybe your pulled muscle sensation is a sign, when are you due to test?

Luxoire · 27/08/2019 12:47

Hello ladies... I still feel really crappy and tired...the migraines have tailored off now yo a full headache so I've yurmed down the pain killers..but I am KNACKERED STILL!! I dont remember it being this hard with my other 2...age maybe???

@hermionelodge I took cerazette for about 10 yrs before i came off to habe my first and it was the weirdest journey...my pwriofs were always erratic on it so it took about a couple of montha to get periods back to normal..so I'd say if u dont mind when u get pregnant, now it seems you have had your withdrawal bleed just track ur ovulation with opks and dtd as much as possible as u might get a BFP at anytime..good luck. We arw here to help and support as much as possible

@CouscousEvaporator welcome too. How are u feeling?
@HappyGirl86 and @Destiny25 how are u both feeling? Yup hormones are botch lol its amazimg how many of these symptoms BC control cos I never have them thia bad when I am on BC..

How is everyone?
