Hi,
I'm on cycle 5 of TTC with first child. I used clear blue advanced ovulation test for the first time last month and have purchased another one to use this month also. I'm on day 7 of this cycle and am planning on starting ovulation testing on day 12 as I ovulated on day 17 last month. I have a pretty regular 27 day cycle (no longer than 29 days).
I know it's still early days but I feel like it's never going to happen. I can't imagine actually getting a positive result. Is anyone else in a similar position and want to be on this journey with me?

@littlelisa34 yeah I know what you mean. I want to know either way now just feels like forever and feel like I'm getting my hopes up and know I'll be disappointed. Both my boobs are hurting now but left one definitely more painful but no more cramping at the moment. Indigestion is a good sign though so fingers crossed!

@tryingforbabyone I know I'm feeling positive one minute and then I have to talk myself out of it because I don't want to get my hopes up too much.. although boob pain in general is good I've not had a great deal of it but it's not something I suffer from really even before AF so that's a negative on my side.. this might be TMI but my CM is more or less none existent which is definitely out of the ordinary had little bits here and there but pretty much nothing.. been reading up loads about that this afternoon and lots of women "dried up" before a BFP but plenty of women said they got increased amounts which to me makes more sense.. so I'm not taking that one as a gospel symptom.. x

@littlelisa34 the wait is the worst! Hopefully not too much longer and you will have that BFP!

@littlelisa34 oh that's interesting! I find the CM symptoms really difficult to follow/understand. I've definitely had a dull ache around my lower back and womb area which I don't usually get. Think we are both due to test around the same time so hopefully we'll both get the best news!!

@tryingforbabyone from what I have read milky white CM is usually the norm if your heading towards a BFP but honestly I've read that many different variations of CM and what to expect I'm not 100% sure myself.. your having some really good symptoms hun 😁 yeah I'm testing next Wednesday unless I get some really strong AF symptoms or AF itself then i will decide on the morning.. when are you testing??x

@littlelisa34 thanks- I’m doing ok just trying to figure out if I have blooming ovulated or not! Whilst the other day I was just saying the cheap sticks work for me it now seems this month they aren’t as seem to be all over the place😂 just DTD every other day and hoping I catch it and if not Im going to move onto the CB ones next month🙄

It seems there is a few of you due AF/ due to test around the same time! I think I’ll be a few days after- my AF is due A week on saturday(24th). It would be fab if we got a few BFP this month! I could do with seeing some good news 😊

@May2311 yeah I couldn't get the hang of the cheapies clearblue has worked for me every month.. sounds like you have a good plan in place for this month though.. yeah it's good to have people with around the same cycle if they get a BFP and you don't it still gives you some hope..
hopefully you'll get yours this month 😀

When is everyone's AF due and when will you be testing? I'm dying to test ASAP but at being 6dpo I know it's too early! It's doing my head in Sad

@MummaR92 6dpo is a tad early but each to there own lol.. my AF is due 16/17th so going to test next Wednesday if nothing by then which I'm hoping and praying there isn't.. you've had some positive symptoms though..

@littlelisa34 fingers crossed for you!! I'm due on 22nd so hopefully it doesn't arrive! Hopefully my symptoms mean something, I've also had heartburn at night when I lay down. It effected me that much that it was worse laying on my side so I had to lay on my back (which I hate).

@MummaR92 thanks 😀 I had indigestion last night when I went to bed that worsened once I layed down but nothing today.. is this your 2nd cycle??

@littlelisa34 oooo hopefully that's a sign for you!! It is technically yeah as I came off the pill in June but I've only had one period since at the end of last month so I don't know if this is classed as my 2nd cycle or not. It slightly confuses me lol! How many cycles are you up to?

@mrssunshinexxx I'm just way too impatient lol! I think the symptom spotting is driving me more mad than anything else right now! I just wish it wasn't similar symptoms to AF! X

@littlelisa34 yeah I've had milky white CF last couple of days but can't work out if that's normal for me tbh. I do feel different this month but not sure f it's more in my head. I'm going to test on Tuesday if I get that far. I never test early or get that far usually so fingers crossed!

@MummaR92 I’m not due till 24th- I’ll test then if AF doesn’t arrive but I’m not feeling hopeful this month.

I tend not to test early as when I first came off the pill and was waiting for first AF to arrive I kept thinking “am I pregnant” doing a test and it was awful seeing the negative even though I knew it was unlikely! Plus it helps me save money on tests- I have 4 FRErs in ready for when I’m late and hopefully the first one I need to use it will be a BFP! Xxx

I was determined not to symptom spot this month🙄 I thought it would stop me obsessing.

Approx 3dpo and already I have cramps in lower abdomen, emotional and feeling rough in general- my mind pops up “ this is it, your pregnant” 😂 Obviously the rationale side of me knows it’s far too early....
