TTC first baby

Hi,
I'm on cycle 5 of TTC with first child. I used clear blue advanced ovulation test for the first time last month and have purchased another one to use this month also. I'm on day 7 of this cycle and am planning on starting ovulation testing on day 12 as I ovulated on day 17 last month. I have a pretty regular 27 day cycle (no longer than 29 days).
I know it's still early days but I feel like it's never going to happen. I can't imagine actually getting a positive result. Is anyone else in a similar position and want to be on this journey with me?

@mummar92 Yeah I bet! It's really fustrating when you just want to know but the fact your late is a good sign 😁. You just might take a bit longer for your HCG to rise, some ladies don't get a positive until from a few days to 2 weeks late xx

@Hewie30 yeah I have been reading up and some people like you said don't get a positive until 2 weeks late! I really hope I am! I've had some other symptoms today like feeling really tired, sick at the smell of cheese and onion crisps, gagging when brushing teeth and a full headache so hopefully in the next couple of days I will get my BFP 🤞 xx

@mummar92 Yeah it's surprisingly common for that to happen so it's still positive, especially considering AF hasn't arrived 😁🤞. Oooo those symptoms sound promising too 😍. Hopefully this is it for you! Xx

So last night I had the tiniest and I mean the tiniest bit of pink when I wiped (tmi) and nothing since so I don't know what to think now 🙄

@Mummar92 Try and not panic, some women get bleeding and spotting in early pregnancy, hopefully it's that and not AF ☺️🤞 xx

Anyone else on there next cycle now waiting for ovulation? I'm on CD 7 and going to try preseed and SMEP this month.

@tryingforbabyone I'm on CD8 waiting for ovulation 🙋🤞. Opks are going to arrive Wednesday and Ovia says my fertile window is from 4th September so got some time yet 🙄. When are you due to ovulate xx

@Hewie30 oh lovely we're in this month together then! I'm due on the 6th September according to my Flo app but am going to start my clear blue ovulation tests on the 2nd.

@Hewie30 we're following the SMEP this month so we're going to dtd today as it's day 8

@tryingforbabyone Are yooooou, how does that work? You dtd every other day from CD8 and when you get a positive on opks you dtd 3 days in a row? Xx

@Hewie30 yes that's right every other day then on ovulation day 3 days in a row, Miss a day and then once more and then hopefully you've covered all opportunities!

Id like all you ladies advice. So Ovia has said my window will be 5th-10th September. Yesterday I got cramps and shooting pains so we dtd last night. Today I got more cramps and some ewcm, it sounds like I'm ovulating early possibly? Shall I dtd every other day from tomorrow to be safe? Xx

@Hewie30 yes I'd deffo try every other day just to be on the safe side. Are you using ovulation tests too?

@tryingforbabyone Okay thanks hun 😁. I've ordered them but their not coming until Wednesday by 9pm so I'll be testing from Thursday xx
