TTC first baby

Hi,
I'm on cycle 5 of TTC with first child. I used clear blue advanced ovulation test for the first time last month and have purchased another one to use this month also. I'm on day 7 of this cycle and am planning on starting ovulation testing on day 12 as I ovulated on day 17 last month. I have a pretty regular 27 day cycle (no longer than 29 days).
I know it's still early days but I feel like it's never going to happen. I can't imagine actually getting a positive result. Is anyone else in a similar position and want to be on this journey with me?

I'm good thanks hun, had a dream last night I got a positive on a frer which was gutting waking up BUT just waiting for my fertile cycle to hurry up 🤣 xx

@Hewie30 yeah he is a good one.. we've been together 15 years and he's waited for this moment for years.. still in a little shock but it's sunk in a little more toady..

I'm really not feeling positive about it all now the day AF is supposed to be here and I've still got a negative test. Not even a hint of a line! I guess I'll just have to wait and see if she arrives and then go from there!

@littlelisa34 Awh that's good it's sinking in 😍. Have you ordered some frers or are you just going to wait for the appt now? Oh my god yeah definitely is! I actually find this part worse then the 2ww 😂. I'm going to stop pregnacare tonight too to see if I come on earlier this month and next month 🤞 xx

@mummar92 Awh hun keep positive! Some ladies don't get their positive until their late, some don't until even a week or so late. Your still in this 🤞🤞🤞🤞 xx

@Hewie30 hi hun. Still spotting, really not a lot. Literally few drops overnight. I haven't tested though. I've got first response arriving today and may test tomorrow or Saturday with FMU x I see you mentioned pregnacare, I'm also on it x

@katie1109 That's really positive that you haven't come on properly and it's still spotting. Definatly could be that your just spotting a bit during early pregnancy 🤞🤞. Let us know what the frer says ❤️. Are you too? How are you finding it? I thought it was okay but a few ladies have said that it's extended their cycles so I'm going to stop it to see if this month and next month it makes them shorter 🤞 xx

Hi @Hewie30. I came around to the though it's af now, so if it isn't I will be surprised, but hopefully not too down if tomorrow or Saturday its a bfn. I don't really feel any different on pregnacare. But considering my cycles were 27 days long every time and this one, if I assume my bleeding is af, was 31 days, it may be up to the tablets x I think I'd rather have longer cycles and make sure I take the appropriate vitamins, so I won't be stopping it x are you taking pregnacare conception?

@Katie1109 That's a sensible way of thinking hun but hopefully you'll still get your positive. The test yesterday was definitely positive 🤞. Is this month the first month your taking the pregnacare? Yeah the conception ones, I've been taking them before I came off the pill so it's hard for me to know if it's actually my cycle length or if it's the tablets. I'm tempted to just take folic acid or seven seas if it turns out pregnacare is extending it. My worry is it extending my cycles im missing ovulation xx

@Hewie30 I started taking pregnacare half way through the last cycle and the whole of this one, so I'm not sure whether this is what extends it or not to be fair. I'll keep you posted when I do the test maybe tomorrow morning x

@Hewie30 yeah I'm going to get some tomorrow and start testing every few days from Saturday/Sunday.. hopefully you'll be like me and stop taking it and get your BFP the next cycle 😁😁xx

@katie1109 Most definatly a positive hun!! 😍😍😍😍. Call up your doctor's and say you got a positive pregnancy test but your spotting and see if they'll refer you to early pregnancy unit just to be safe 😘. AF cramping is normal 🙂. Congratulations hun 🤗 xx

Thank you! I’m just trying not to be over excited yet, it may still just be a CP. I called the doctor and was told to test over the weekend, watch the spotting which to them sounds like just normal spotting - there really isn’t that much at all now. I’ll give them a ring after the weekend if it’s still positive. At the moment it’s still faint x

@katie1109 Good stuff hun, it doesn't sound like their too concerned which is great 😊🤗. Keep positive, hopefully baby is a sticky one 🤞. Honestly hun I had a chemical a few months ago and my line was much fainter then that 😘, positive thinking xx

@Katie1109 I've had cramps all day Hun and I'm not overly concerned from everything I've been told and read it's perfectly normal and a lot of women get spotting early on.. touch wood test again in a couple of days and hopefully it will be a lot darker.. fingers crossed for you hun🤞xx

Morning ladies, so I'm officially 1 day late which is a good sign however I'm still getting negative tests which is a bad sign! Its driving me mad!!
