It’s time for a new thread for a lovely bunch of ladies supporting each other through our TTC efforts, possible IVF plans, possible alternative life journeys and adventures with or without babies after the age of 35. Think that about sums it up Grin

@BambiOnIce80 @79andnotout @CNizzle @VenusStarr @QuantumGirl @Carley321 @Wannabemum38 @Russkispy @Kescilly @Laney79 @Weathergirl1 @Pinkywoo @birdbybird

I’ve included everyone who has posted on the last four pages of the previous thread. Hope that’s o.k as I know some of you have graduated to another thread, but still like to check in and apologies if i’ve missed anyone.

Lots of luck to everyone at whatever stage we’re at 💕

@wannabemum38 wow blazing positive! Ideally you'd be wanting to DTD this evening, but I wouldn't rule out tomorrow as being too late - just make sure you pounce on him as soon as he arrives 👍

I tended to get two days of positive results so I would keep testing tomorrow. You also might not ovulate off the back of this peak - sometimes our bodies gear up for it but don't release an egg and then you get another peak a few days later. The only way to confirm ovulation is after the fact with BBT rise. Good luck for tomorrow 🤞🍀

@Weathergirl1 Thanks. Pretty surprised to see a positive so soon really. Ah well what will be will be. And yes pouncing on him I will most certainly be doing. Wink

@Weathergirl1 hope you don't mind me asking but do you think my chart shows enough of a rise for ovulation to have occurred? We've just been referred back to the fertility clinic and I'm not optimistic about anything happening before then; my temps and heart rate seem to be pretty low which is making me suspect that I haven't ovulated this cycle...?

I'm miscarrying as I'm typing this. Started with a dull pain in my back earlier on. Came home and bleeding started. Red. With clots. Very bad back pain. No cramps. It was too good to be true, this natural conception. I've never miscarried naturally. Don't even know what to expect and scared of it 😢😢😢 thank you for all your support!

@Russkispy so sorry for your loss. The world really doesn't feel fair sometimes.

My miscarriage was natural at c7 weeks. I know everyone's experience will be different but for me the first few hours were very heavy and painful until I passed the pregnancy tissues, then it settled down to be like a relatively heavy period that went on for a week or so. I found a hot water bottle and paracetamol really helped, but the emotional side was far worse than the physical. It took me around two weeks to stop bleeding completely, and three weeks to get a negative test. Hopefully your experience will be quicker and your body will start to recover sooner rather than later. The biggest mistake I made was to go straight back to work after just a day off. I wasn't ready emotionally and I really regret not giving myself the time and space to grieve properly.
I hope that you have plenty of love and support around you, and that your rainbow follows soon xx

No need to thank me @Russkispy. Keep us posted with how you are doing, and most importantly look after yourself. If you're uncertain at all then please take yourself to A and E or your early pregnancy unit xx

@Avocuddles I'm not sure really. It looks like you're above what would be your coverline to me which would indicate ovulation, but as I used Natural Cycles to track my temperatures, it did all that stuff for me - what app are you using?

Just saw your update @Russkispy - I'm so sorry to hear that - take care of yourself 💐💐

@Russkispy So sorry to hear that.
Every MC is different. I lost one at 9 weeks and had bleeding and really bad pains which the doctors said were like contractions. I didnt lose all of the baby and so had to have an operation but thats not always the case. Paracetamol and heat definitely and ring 111.

Hello hope its OK to join you ladies.

I'm 37, 38 next month. Have been trying for a baby since January 18 ( 7 pregnancies and 7 miscarriages). I'm currently 2dpo and hoping this is my month. Recently had tests with rmc and have been told my AMH level is low ( egg reserves) so feeling like my time is running out.

Baby dust to everyone xx

I'm so, so sorry @Russkispy 😔 It's so unfair. Look after yourself ❤️

Definitely a lovely BFP OPK you've got yourself there @wannabemum38 👍 What @Weathergirl1 said, really - very annoying to not know exactly when we ovulate after the surge! Temping does help with that, but 🤞🏻 you'll be upduffed first time lucky and not have to think about joining us tempers (it's helpful, but also just another thing to obsess over! 🌡️🙄).

If you want to tag someone @Lf803, you need to put the '@' symbol in front of the username you want 😉 Crystal's is a new one one me, I have to admit. Good luck with your extra CB OPK's 🍀

Looks like you ov'd on the 1st to me @Avocuddles. Your temps aren't too disimalar to mine. I read that there only needs to be a temp rise of 0.3/0.4°C to confirm ovulation, so it looks like your app has probably got it right - low temp on the 31st with it starting to rise (due to having ovulated) on the 1st. I'd show you mine for this month, but it's a total mess due to a combination of having a bit of a cold and quite a bit of booze due to parents visiting during FW 🍸😬 I can still see between the OPK's and the temping though that I probably ov'd on the 1st too 👍

Welcome @Lilimum7 💐 It sounds like you've been through a hell of a lot since starting to TTC 😔 Doesn't sound like your AMH is having any effect on you getting pregnant, so that's got to be a positive thing (I think AMH is more helpful to find out how well we'll respond to IVF drugs). I'm getting mine checked at the end of September to assess if it's worth going ahead with IVF or not (fun times! 😏). I hope you've got lots of things planned to keep yourself busy through your TWW?x

@BambiOnIce80 so it looks like you're right with the assumption of having ovulated on the first.... only 9DPO so super early but there's definitely a squinter of a line here....? Far too early to know if it'll stick but will test again in a couple of days and see how it gets on.... feeling pretty scared after my miscarriage but fingers crossed....

Thank you ladies. Spent a bit of time on the toilet yesterday and felt quite a bit of clots slipped out. No cramps. Had a hot water bottle on my back and a couple of paracetamol. Slept heavily without any pain. It feels like a heavy period. Is there anything else to expect in terms of shedding clots? Etc just don’t know how this works! In fact I'm at work now, working in a small local hospital. Thought if anything goes bad/painful I'll get a doctor from here. Got paracetamol and hot water bottle with me. Physically and emotionally I'm ok. Spoke with my coordinator from fertility clinic last night, and feeling ok. I have my plan B once things are back to normal here

So my LH surge/peak was definitely yesterday is right down today tested same time pretty much no fluids for 4 hours. Might mean I didn't ovulate at all or already ovulated but think this month is probably going to be a waste of time never mind.

So sorry to read your news @Russkispy x sending much love & hugs.
Apologies for my break in service! Just been a bit snowed under, mum's up in Glasgow, and is in full-on wedding planning mode. Jeezo, I've been engaged 3 weeks! Think we're thinking about early next year... I've waited 17 years for the ring, I dont really want to wait too much longer. But in the back of my mind, I'm constantly thinking "but will I be pregnant by then?" I'm really torn. Any advice?

Been to EPU earlier and it looks like I passed the sac and the rest on Friday night as it wasn’t present on the scan. Still got blood clots but will pass soon, was told. To rescan in 10 days. No tummy cramps but just pain in my lower back and still bleeding. Oh well. Upwards and onwards and towards donor egg cycle. Not quitting just yet!

Evening everyone. Hope you all doing ok?i am giving smep a whirl this month so wish me luck!

@wannabemum38 I have a bfp OPK almost every month the the day after negative... then a few days later I have another bfp with ewcm and a few symptoms. It’s strange but I get the increase before the actual positive. Could the same have happened to you?

Hello @CNizzle wedding planning sounds fun 💍 very exciting. I would just go for it! If you are pregnant by then I’m sure the day will be that bit more special and if not you get to enjoy a good old booze up while looking fabulous in your dress 😍. I’m personally sick of putting everything on hold... but please tell me to put a sock in it if I am speaking out of turn 😊.

@Russkispy I’m so sorry. I’m glad your not feeling defeated and have a plan to move forward ❤️ You are one strong cookie x

@Carley321 I guess it's possible. Though my opk tests got darker as week went on so I think it was a surge and ovulated yesterday. My partner managed to get here despite the horrendous train issues that happened and so I guess now I'm on the TWW. I had a bit of CF after we DTD once so I'm hoping that's a good sign

@Carley321 good luck with smep 🤞 what cd are you?

@CNizzle I'd probably book the wedding too. So exciting! I loved planning our wedding. Feel free to share your ideas here :)

Good luck in your tww @wannabemum38 🤞

@Avocuddles how are you today? Are you retesting? It's strange how our ttc journeys have been similar. Hope you got good news this morning.

@BambiOnIce80 @79andnotout @PixieN hope you're all well xx

I'm 5 weeks today. Struggling a lot with anxiety, just trying to reassure myself that I can't control any of this, whatever is meant to be will happen. Taking each hour as it comes at the moment 🙏 xx

Morning all, hope you have good weeks ahead.

@VenusStarr tested again this morning and definitely a stronger line. Based on OPKs I'll be at 4 weeks on Wednesday so will test again then with my final FRER and also a digital clearblue that I've resisted using so far, and admit to myself that I'm pregnant.... I'm quite calm at the moment because I'm in the mindset of waiting for AF to arrive (would have been due today based on 12 day luteal phase), but imagine the terror will set in over the coming days.
