Hi ladies this is my first cycle in TTC, and I ovukated on Saturday as I had PEAK Thursday afternoon and Friday afternoon, then negative on Saturday early hours of the morning like 1oclock in the morning. Only 4dpo, me and my partner DTD on Sunday morning and afternoon and Monday morning as we decided to start trying early and so it was a last minute thing. So we might of missed the window... but all I've had is weird cramps but I'm just putting that down to a rise in hormones.

@Gulster How late is af? I think that people continue to keep testing maybe for peace of mind ❤️ But I’m sure everyone is different and don’t actually know because I’ve never even had a sniff at a bfp lol.

I’m assuming this month will be no different but I feel like it’s heading somewhere now I have the lap coming up.

May I join please? What a lovely thread. I'm 35 and TTC my first. Absolutely desperate and have wanted children for at least 10 years but not been with the right man. Finally found my one 3 years ago, taken a while to convince him I'm not letting any younger ;) he's 40.

He's happy to try but not anywhere near as keen as me, so its quite lonely. Been TTC since June 2019 but he says we've only been properly trying for 2 month ( except I'm the one who knows when I am ovulating...😂)

I had a chemical in December which really messed with my head. Feel ok about it now.

I'm due AF on Sunday so it's getting closer. This TWW has felt like FOREVER!!

@Gupster I thought you might have a digital showing weeks. That's why I suggested Saturday. Maybe by then will indicate a number of weeks?! 1-2? But anyway, positive is positive!

@carley321 I know how you feel, I've literally never in my now 40 years, seen two lines on a pregnancy test, not even a squinter!
So yeah, that's me hit the big 4-0. Now officially only entitled to 1 cycle of ivf if I ever lose enough weight to get on the list. Getting a bit scunnered with it all. AF due tomorrow, zero symptoms, yet again. Feel like this has consumed my life for too long, and im a bit worried how its starting to affect me.
Totally hit a mid life crisis. Sorry folks.
On a more positive note, I had a lovely birthday, and we went to Iceland for a few days which was fabulous! I would totally recommend it. We even got to see the northern lights!

I feel you @CNizzle ❤️ For me IVF was the cross roads - if it worked it worked and if it didn't then that was our line in the sand to move on with our lives and get my mental health back. We can't do this to ourselves forever. It's agony 😔 Your wedding must be so close now! 💒 😍 Sounds like you had an amazing time in Iceland too❄😎 I didn't see the northern lights when I went (😏), but I did bump into Bjork on the high Street in Reykjavik outside her club! 🤩😂

Welcome new ladies 👋 This thread has been a massive support over the last 2 years (! 😱) and I don't know what I would have done without you all 💖

We had our 7 week scan this week and, so far, all is well 👍😪 Saw the little heartbeat flickering away and everything 💓😊 DP had to wipe away a few tears too! He's turning into a total softy! 😂

Struggling loads at the moment :(

Took a test yesterday 3 days before af due and BFN. Fairly convinced I'm out this month. I had a nightmare day at work where I had a huge meltdown and I think it was down to the test (just made me more fragile and unable to cope with a tricky situation)

OH isn't really the most supportive, hes not struggling that it's not working, just happy to go with the flow. Hes thinking we aren't really trying properly and where my mental health has been suffering he hasn't been in the mood, he is suffering with his mood too because of how I have been :(

ttc is hard enough without poor mental health thrown in. How am I gonna get through this? Doctor suggested getting tested as it's our 7th month now trying for 1st (he is 40 i am 35).

@Blackbelt so sorry to hear about your struggles. Our situations are similar. I am turning 36 in a month have been trying for 7 months too. DH doesn't struggle as much as I do, I don't know if it's because as women we pretty much shoulder the weight of the tracking, mood swings, tests etc

As for me, yet another curveball was thrown my way at the beginning of this month. I had to have fibroid surgery removal this week, postponing the TTC journey by at least 3 months. I am trying to keep a very positive mindset, although it is very hard.

@CNizzle it’s so disheartening isn’t it. Literally feels like it will never happen. It’s so sad but I literally dream of seeing that extra line! No need to apologise for a crappy day. Thats why we’re here. I’m sorry you feel so shit, your not alone though. I’m sure you will get to where you need to be. Did af show? I am the opposite, I think I’m going crazy because I have new symptoms every month that creep in and make my calm mind crazy! years of that gets draining doesn’t it! Glad you enjoyed your bday, Iceland sounds lovely, any more holidays coming up?

I'm officially PUPO! It went well! We had a short meditation before transfer! Scan showed 10.3mm lining and all looked great!!the embryo is 5AB and she even told me its gender! When she asked if I wanted to know I just bursted into tears! And then she told me! Transfer went smoothly! She then held my hand and said a little prayer. then had a drip, blood test and acupuncture. OTD is 5/03 🙏🏻🙏🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Oh my goodness, BJORK?! @bambionice80 I drunk in love her, saw her at the Hydro not long ago,and seeing her again in the summer at a festival.
wedding is now 4 weeks tomorrow (21st March) 😱😱😱
AF did come this morning, right on cue. One good thing about this is i should just have finished bleeding next month on my wedding day. (Um...Every cloud????) Any later and there could be a whole white dress/bloodbath scenario haha.

Thanks so much for listening to my eternal moans everyone. This little group has been a total lifeline in this journey. I don't have anyone IRL to talk to about ttc properly, a few friends and my sister know what we're going through, but I never open up to them. You girls are just the best 😊

These are my tests (well, I also did two digital tests just to be sure) to show you lovely ladies that it can just take a few days for the hormone to build up and give the BFP that you want, I kept testing as I wanted to make sure it kept getting stronger, I am now happy and will not test anymore. Thank you for all your congratulations and I hope to see plenty more BFPs soon, spreading baby dust to you all 🧚♥️ x
