Awwwww, you are truly lovely @Carley321😍 AF did indeed turn up on Thursday night, so we've got our appointment tomorrow to get this show on the road! Just want to get on with it now after all this waiting!

Yes they started last Monday. I’m having one every other day. Not really getting much from the ladies doing them. First day CD8 was all fine and nothing to report, then CD10 didn’t say much at all apart from there’s a few little ones around and that I have something that looks like a polyp. Then CD12 no polyp or anything could be seen and 1 dominant follicle measuring 12mm. Then today very quiet and all I got Was not Much has changed since Friday. So with my crazy brain that’s sent me in to a spin. Now I’m adamant that yet again something isn’t working as it should be 😕 these set backs are so so hard.

That's interesting that they're scanning you every other day @Carley321 🤓 Does that make today CD15? The way I take it from them saying "not much has changed" today is that you haven't ovulate yet, but you must be getting close 🤞🤞🤞 I'd get DingTD if I were you! 🍀🍀🍀

@BambiOnIce80 Really? I thought that follicles needed to be much bigger than that to become healthy enough? I’m not really familiar with it all. Dr google is all I have lol and he said they should be doubling by the day after a certain point (which I’ve passed). Yes CD 15 and apart from the 25 day cycle I had recently I’ve been having around 30/31 day cycles. My positive opk has usually been around CD17/18.

So it’s all confused me a little this month. I don’t think my Anxiety is coping to great with the lack of communication 🙈. Says me when you are about to start your own new and exciting (but all be it, stressful) journey 💗

So, I am officially on the run up to IVF! 🎉🥳🎉🥳 Took my first pill today (got to take it for just over 2 weeks and then the injections start 💊 💉), had my AFC (14, so not too bad at all 👍) and practice transfer and all was good in the hood 🤓 Feels really counterintuitive going back on the pill after about 12 years, but it's definitely preferable to an extra 2 weeks of jabs! 😄

I haven’t got an appointment yet 😕. I understand the nhs is a wonderful thing. But it can really get to you when there’s a wait after a wait after a wait 🙈.

I don’t even know how to feel over it all anymore, I often think would I want there to be something (that can be fixed to be found) so I have an explanation to my infertility... or would knowing all is well (apart from The tube) make me a new women and I can get on with I stress free 🙈. I don’t know. It’s all no fun and games isn’t it.

Wow @BambiOnIce80 I can’t believe how quickly this time has come around. I’m very excited for you, 2 weeks takes you to Christmas so that will go quickly, I’m sure. How are you feeling over it all?

I'm feeling alright about it at the moment @Carley321, thanks 😊 Slightly miffed that we can't drink from this point forward and there's Christmas to get through, but what're you gonna do?! 🤷‍♀️

It's a tough one re: finding out the cause and how to deal with it v's everything's fine but you still can't get pregnant 🤔 I remember when I first got investigated and everything was coming back as normal my initial reaction was "great! What a relief 😪"... but then when they can't find a problem then they can't fix it - it's a bitch of a catch 22! 😏 I hope you get an appointment through to go over it all very soon 🤞🤞🤞

I had another ACS appointment. I'm officially (on my nhs record) elligible for ivf referral, except im 9kg too heavy. Although I have been losing slowly & steadily. I've not got any more appointments though. Got to call & make an appointment when I reach the required weight. Feeling quite mixed about this , had a bit of a cry on the way home. Feels quite unachievable just now, but it's something to aim for. Doctor did say not to give up hope of a natural conception (Aye, cos that's gonna happen!) . Hopefully I'll get it off before the wedding anyway.

@BambiOnIce80 oh really... no drinking over Xmas? 😱 but 🤞 it will all be worth it. You’d think they’d advise to as a relaxant lol 🤣. I’d need to I think.

It is tough but I can’t stop thinking that if I have low ovarian reserve etc the. Ivf may not even be an option 🙁 which is the killer right now. Not that I’ve done any research or spoke to anyone mind. This is all my own findings.

I’m pretty sure I’m having an anovulatory cycle though. No symptoms relating to previous months and no postive opks or static smileys, Only flashing. So maybe the anxiety of it all has stopped it in some way?

If I am having that cycle, what’s the norm... will af still show? Sooner later? I’m such a control freak I swear lol.

Hi @CNizzle great news about the referral. Not great about making you wait until you lose weight. But I’m sure you will get it done, you are doing well so far aren’t you, you will get there 👊.

Maybe we can share because I’ve been told it might be helpful to actually gain some weight 🙈🙄. Which I’m also struggling with x

So sorry that the ACS appointment was upsetting @CNizzle 💙 As you say, you've been losing weight steadily (and therefore healthily, I'd say) and you'll hopefully be there by the time your wedding comes around 💒 What are the waiting lists like in the Weege? I'm hoping they're short and sweet and you'll be starting your IVF in the spring 🤞🤞🤞😉

I know @Carley321 - the booze ban couldn't have come at a worse bloody time of year, could it?!?! 😏 However, I was out Friday and Saturday night and successfully managed to avoid temptation 🥂🚫👍 That's a full week of no booze so far... And I'm sadly aware that this makes me sound like I'm a bit too fond of alcohol! 😬 On the worrying about your ovarian reserve front, could you just pay to have your AMH bloods done and get it over and done with? It'll hopefully give you some peace of mind and stop you stressing about that one 🤞

He's good thanks, can't believe it's been 8 weeks already. It's been a bit of a nightmare with tongue tie, oral thrush, reflux and not sleeping more than two hours at a time , but now the reflux is improving it's getting easier (and slightly less tiring!).

@BambiOnIce80 the whole scan thing has upset me so much along with being passed from person to person when trying to make appointments to find out next steps. We ended up ringing our private clinic to have a look over things. He was absolutely lovely and just going there gives me a sense of calm. He sat down discussed everything and went through some options... just advised that we wait for the lap before going ahead with any. He also did a AMH blood test there and then so I’m just so anxious waiting to here from that 🙏. But I can’t big the doctor up enough, he was so kind and understanding - he didn’t even charge us for the test or appointment.

Well done on the 1 week mark 👍👏. I completely understand how hard this must have been 🤣. How are things Going with you? Where are you at now?

I'm one week down on the microgynon front with 10 days left to go before starting a week of buserelin injections to finish the down-regging process 💉 Trying to stay as zen as possible, which I have to say hasn't been too difficult due to just having to take the pill so far 💊 😊 Let's see if I'm quite so zen in another 10 days without even 1 lovely, lovely Christmasy gin and tonic! 🍸😢🍸😉

I’m o.k thanks @BambiOnIce80 11+3 weeks and have my 12 week scan next week before Xmas. Feeling a bit nervous as I had some pink-tinged discharge earlier, but hoping all is o.k. I had some spotting around 9 weeks and my midwife sent me for a scan which was fine and we saw the heartbeat. It feels like the worry and anxiety never ends no matter what stage you’re at 😣

I didn’t take the pill, just the buserelin injections which wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be - thought I’d hate injecting myself, but it just became part of the whole bedtime routine. Not drinking was hard, but strangely I haven’t missed it since becoming pregnant 🤷‍♀️ I’ve also gone off tea! I went out with some mates a few days ago and ordered non-alcoholic Bellinis which tasted really strong. It was 2 for the price of one. Good job, I checked they were mocktails as the barman had given me alcoholic ones by mistake! I’ve managed to find some lovely non-alcoholic mulled wine and will get some Nosecco for Xmas. Not quite the same though lol 😝

@CNizzle slow and steady weight loss sounds good, but understand how frustrating it must be that it’s another step to get through before Ivf starts. It may not feel like it, but you’ll do it!

@Carley321 Glad you had a decent Dr at your appointment. Things are progressing for you too

@Pinkywoo I can’t believe your baby is 8 weeks old already - that’s gone so fast!

On the subject of ovarian reserve, I’m sure I read that egg quality was more important than low reserve as you’ll only need one decent egg (unless you’re planning on having more than one!?) x

Aw 12 weeks 😍 exciting. But completely understand your nerves. The worry really never ends 🙈. If it’s any help I have a few friends which spotted throughout the first 12 weeks and all has been fine ☺️ I’ll be thinking of you.

On another note. Can anyone help me on this an-ovulatory cycle? Will af still show? early, late? we have booked time away over xmas around it all. bloody typical lol.

I've had a couple of annovulatory cycles @Carley321 and AF was about a week late on both occasions for me. Pretty sure it will wildly vary though. If she doesn't show on time, maybe do a HPT to be sure there's not another reason 😉🤞🏻

@BambiOnIce80 I’m hoping that’s all this is 🤞 just the odd one. The scan has kind of proven I’m not preggo and also shown that ov defo hasn’t happened and would I be right by saying... won’t know? So if it’s late it’s just to acre with my Xmas plans 😡😡. Typical!
