Good luck Chat 🤞 and Cleo for harmony results!

tiggerifficmummy · 29/10/2019 23:21

@Russkispy huge congratulations to you! I hope everything goes well for you xx

@Chatbash72 I had all those symptoms just like you and no af until day 40 (really unlike me as 31 was the longest before) and still got bfn then af showed but the fact yours hasn't makes me think you'll be more lucky than me! 🤞🏻🤞🏻 everything crossed for you x

Russkispy · 30/10/2019 07:27

Thank you for your lovely wishes and support!

@Chatbash72 how are you feeling now? Have you tested in the end?

@Cleozeta glad the scan went well! 🤞🏻🤞🏻 for harmony results! Everything will be fine!

How's everyone else doing?

Not much to report here although feeling a bit off , maybe it's nausea creeping up?!
Going for beta on Monday as dad is still here
And need to book an early scan in 3 weeks or so as won't be flying to my clinic for that! Done enough flying for the past few weekends!

hmmm123 · 30/10/2019 07:50

Congratulation @Russkispy

@Cleozeta glad to hear the scan went well. Hope everything goes well with the results

Afm .. my period has just returned after my ectopic 2 months ago. I'm not sure whether we will try again but I'm glad to have the option as I was worrying about it sending me into early menopause! Anyway it's much more painful and heavy than normal but I suppose my body has been through the mill the last few months with the surgery

Good luck to everyone else. I am crossing everything for you and I may well return to actively ttc in the future but at the moment I just need a bit of recovery time

Widdendream77 · 30/10/2019 08:30

So glad scan was good Cleozeta, hope the wait goes quickly. That sounds very frustrating Chatbash, I had a similar situation a couple of years ago just to show sometimes it’s just late ovulation or tests not showing - swore I was pregnant, no af, sense of smell sore boobs etc but no positive so I just kept testing every few days, eventually (can’t remember how many days but think it was about 6week mark) got a positive but a week later bleeding. I do hope it’s a positive for you and it’s late ovulation as the signs sound good and it goes better than it did for me. Hmmm glad af has arrived for you and sorry it’s painful. Look after yourself and recuperate, an ectopic is such a trauma to body and soul.
As for me going through fertile period and Dh seems to sense it and want to dtd, so trying to put him off so we don’t catch until his swimmers are potentially better quality - never thought we’d be here 😂

NicLondon1 · 30/10/2019 11:12

Sorry I'm so late to the party as always, but HURRAY @Russkispy! Amazing news!
And congrats on the scan @Cleozeta
@Chatbash72 sorry it's sounds like an annoying cycle, I had a similar one too recently, I do think it is the body trying to fertilise/implant...

Over here I am on day TEN of the flashing smileys. Driving me nuts! Will I ever ovulate...?!! SIGH.

Cleozeta · 31/10/2019 09:52

Those that have had the harmony test, how long till you got your results? The wait is driving me nuts and it's only been 2 days

Chatbash72 · 31/10/2019 11:33

Day 42!!! Very slight pink after the loo this morning.. but nothing else.. very light cramping but could be stretching.. who knows 🤷‍♀️
Hope everyone else is good 💕💕💕

Realitysucks · 31/10/2019 12:41

@Cleozeta I had mine on a Wednesday and clinic Called me on Tuesday the following week! Good luck!

KristieP2018 · 31/10/2019 16:27

Ohh @Russkispy that’s beautiful xx Everything crossed for you!

Russkispy · 31/10/2019 17:34

@KristieP2018 thank you!
@Cleozeta back in 2016, I got my results after 5 days. And they told me the baby's gender Smile

Cleozeta · 31/10/2019 17:40

Thanks guys! So I reckon it might be Monday maybe then.

We decided not to find out the gender this time Smile

Russkispy · 31/10/2019 18:00

@rubyroot hope you're ok? I know you left the other thread due some poster's comments but checking if you're ok otherwise

Chatbash72 · 01/11/2019 20:27

Ooh no @rubyroot... so glad we are not like that on this thread.. sending hugs

MaryShelley1818 · 01/11/2019 21:31

Congratulations @Russkispy That’s excellent news!!!
Good luck to all the ladies waiting for results/scans too. Xx

Well we have our infertility appointment on Tuesday at the hospital and I can’t decide whether to go or not. I think I’ve pretty much given up tbh, we don’t track ovulation and I’ve stopped taking folic acid. I know that we wouldn’t be eligible for treatment as we already have DS so wondering what’s the point?! They’ll just tell me I’m fat and old and I already know that.
I’m lying next to my beautiful 23mth old little boy who’s softly snoring and has his hand wrapped round my hair and I just love him so much that how can he not be enough.
I’ve taken on more work hours, started a second degree, booked 3 holidays for next year and yet still when a colleague announced her pregnancy yesterday I wanted to scream. Just need to get a grip!

Realitysucks · 02/11/2019 07:18

Hi Ladies hope all of you are well. Had a busy few weeks as house completed last Friday so move day today and all packed up and ready for removals!

Firstly @Russkispy massive congratulations so pleased for you and hope all is still good!

@Cleozeta I’m waiting too for your results I really hope all is ok for you ! I don’t know how you managed not to get the sex we decided to get it then maybe not find out and put in an envelope but I just could not wait lol !

As for me, I’m having a really hard time accepting this pregnancy. I know it sounds stupid after all we have done to get here but I still don’t feel like it’s real. Today I’m 15+5 apparently but I know that can’t be right as I didnt Ovulate till 5th August so I still think Baby was just measuring big. I have a midwife appointment on Wednesday. New GP receptionist was fab and booked it straight away even though my transfer registration hadn’t fully gone through. she was horrified at the thing I told her that had gone on down here and why I was so worried.

Im still convinced something has gone wrong. Stupidly I got one of those apps for the heartbeat. Found it twice and felt reassured. For the past two weeks haven’t been able to find it so convinced there is something wrong with the placenta now.

I’ve also lost weight, about 5llbs but still have a noticeable big bump. I’m not sure what’s going on. Brown circles have now appeared so I suppose that’s a good sign. I just want this move for and to get to Wednesday. I don’t feel any different to be honest a bit less tired and I don’t need to pee so much but that’s about it.

Mjlp · 02/11/2019 09:21

I'm new to this thread. I looked at it last month, because I thought it'd take ages to conceive, as I've just turned 42. However, I've just got my BFP the first time I TTC age 42!!! Grin

My mum also got pregnant with my brother the month she turned 42 45 years ago. Plus she conceive me age 44 and gave birth to me age 45. This was in the days before IVF, so it's definitely possible for women to have babies in their 40s without medical intervention. Back then women knew nothing about FSH & AMH etc, so maybe it was less stressful and easier. I don't know. Anyway, I just wanted to wish everyone lots and lots of luck and baby dust x Flowers

Over 40 TTC - lots of baby dust for us...4!
Chatbash72 · 02/11/2019 13:05

Congratulations @Mjlp
ATM day 44, brown tinged mucus ( sorry tmi)
no pain as such twinges.. not sure I feel preg boobs still full and still constipated 👍 not!!
Will make appointment for the drs on Monday.. am very confused

Chatbash72 · 02/11/2019 13:07

@Realitysucks at 15 you will prob feel less tired as finished placenta growing..
try not to worry, easier said than done I know.. have you felt any kicks?

Realitysucks · 02/11/2019 13:11

@Chatbash72 not sure on kicks, I think I’ve had a couple of flutters but who knows could just be wind 🤣🤣🤣

Rubyroost · 02/11/2019 16:09

Excellent news @russkispy, fingers crossed this one sticks. If it has implanted that is all a good sign I guess and no reason why it shouldnt. I heard you are more likely to have bleeds with IVF. My friend bled and apparently she was told that by medical staff.
I've had my 20 week scan and all was normal as far as they can tell. Apart from the baby has a massive head and stomach. Ah well, guess some babies have to be on the 95th percentile. Shock

Rubyroost · 02/11/2019 16:15

@Russkispy I have to admit I flounced off like a spoilt brat..even deleted my username. Can I blame my hormones or just the fact I was feeling sensitive? I guess I was quite upset at thinking I had offended people by 'minimising their concerns'. Sometimes I like my friends to tell me to stop being a neurotic idiot and it helps not to have people feed my anxiety. I guess not all people feel the same.. Although by no means did I call anyone a neurotic idiot. I just tried to put concerns into perspective. I don't know who I upset either as they changed usernames. Anyhow, I got over it and flounced back. Blush

Rubyroost · 02/11/2019 16:18

@Realitysucks I mistook those first flutters for wind first time round, but as they gradually increased I realised it was first movements. So you never know! My first movements were around 16 weeks last time, this time was 10 1/2 weeks, I know that sounds far too early but I'm certain if it. I had anterior last time and posterior thus time.

Cleozeta · 02/11/2019 16:46

Reality - I feel the same, it just doesn't feel real yet. Although I think deep down I am just trying not to get too attached to the idea until I've had NIPT results back. Then I have to wait until nearly 14 weeks for my 12 week scan. Cuttently 11+1 weeks. I'm hoping I can relax and enjoy things if all comes back clear, but no idea in reality how I'll be!

Realitysucks · 02/11/2019 16:50

@rubyroot I think I’ve definitely felt some turning but it’s so quick you then doubt yourself lol. Usually if I’m getting up off sofa ( so getting a new one!) as I think I squish baby and he goes oi I’m n here lol !
