Hi guys,

I’ve done a few threads on here for ttc but this month I am in a new positive state of mind and I am determined to get that BFP!!

I’ve been to the GP today who said my bloods have come back fine for hormones etc and just that I am very low on vit d (which I knew from last check up and have been taking vitamin tabs twice a day) anyway....

She has said there is nothing to suggest any infertility or that I’m not ovulating and that perhaps I am ovulating and not timing it. I was convinced at this appointment I would be prescribed chlomid, but no she said that I just need to come back in 2 months with a new blood test and see from there...

I came away disheartened and a little bit like I’d given up until I thought hold on she said there was no reason to suggest in infertile or have a problem therefore I am fertile and need to work harder! So I got online ordered loads of OPKs, preseed and a basal thermometer.

I also downloaded Sperm Meets Egg and I am determined this month to follow rule by rule. Sorry that was very long! But I am due AF any minute so will be tracking from about day 8 anybody want to do the journey with me??

Again sorry for how long that was!!

@AllHopeAndNoResults 100% use preseed! I've used it every single time we've DTD this cycle.

@Makingawish ok great will do! I know I’m acting a bit weird over this opk but I just didn’t think I’d ever hit the positive, I was had in the back of my mind I wasn’t ovulating at all so I’m just a bit excited right now lol

@Makingawish oh don’t get me excited for no reason 😭😭😭😭 I’m uk and that would be a fantastic idea! We’d also have to advocate for SMEP 😂

On a more lighthearted note, what does everyone desire? I know of course a baby but I obviously as you all know have a boy so I really want a girl but I’m drifting to wanting another boy. My ideal would be 2 boys 1 girl. I have more boys names I like which is odd 😂😂

My ideal is 2 dc, 1 of each but I'd love a boy first and that's because DH is an only child with no experience of babies (never even held one!) and I'm from a family of boys so I think the transition would be easier for everyone if it were that way round but I'd also love if I ended up with a girl first because we'd just be double trouble 🤗

Really he has never held a newborn? Aww wouldn’t it be lovely for the first time it would be his own.
Boys in my opinion are easier, if love to have all boys but like you say a girl to have a little mini me would be lush, and I think you can dress girls cuter.
Do you have names? You don’t have to share obviously, but I have loads in my phones notes 😂

@AllHopeAndNoResults a brand deal is the absolute least I'd expect from preseed if I'm honest! I'm north west (near Manchester).

He's never really had an interest in babies before we got together and since telling me he'd never held one we made an agreement that ours would be the first so he purposefully avoids any opportunity now which can be a bit awkward 😄

I also have the lists in my phone! I think my favourites at the minute are Henry for a boy and Nancy for a girl. You?

That’s cute that he avoids them 😂 how long have you been ttc? Manchester is doable we have to find a neutral ground.

Those are lovely names 😍 for a girl we have absolutely decided on Ava-Lily for a boy there’s loads!.....Kobe and Kairo. My little boys name starts with a k so wanted them all k but that slipped with the girls name 😂

I love the name Ava! I also really love Alice but DH is having none of that one. We both quite like Lola. I love really pretty girly names. Well I came off the pill in February and we got married in March which is when I had the breakthrough bleed (I think) and haven't used anything since but the first couple of months I miscalculated ovulation and we'd been using normal lube so I think we screwed up them. It's only been probably this month and 2 before when we've been more regimented with it. What about you?

I’m the same as you really it’s only been this month properly, I haven’t conceived since DS so I always say about 6 years but this month was a real try.

London seems like a very good idea. @Skyla01 how about you?

Umm well I live in north Scotland so... the lake district?!

We'd love 2 kids, ideally one or each. At times it feels like such an unobtainable dream. Can't wait for that BFP to start our family :)

@AllHopeAndNoResults @Skyla01 I'm pretty much in the middle of you both! I'm quite fortunate where I am in relation to transport links.

I think this TWW is so hard when it's for something you want more than anything in the world but it seems so hard to achieve! I lay in bed every night wondering what I'll do if we can't conceive 🙈 I'm terrible but it's all DH and I talk about and I really want it to come true ASAP.

@Makingawish @Skyla01 I know what you mean. Sometimes it seems like it will never happen and sometimes I feel really positive and think it’s only a matter of when now not if. It’s hard to to not drive yourself crazy when you want it so bad.
I imagine myself just doing day to day with a bubba, like if I’m just observing the situation at home and ds and DP are playing around I just imagine having another little one.

I think if I was to voice this irl I’d be told I’m going mad 😂

We will get there ladies it really is only a matter of time!

@AllHopeAndNoResults exactly that!!! We're talking about things next year as if we're going to be expecting/have a baby like not booking any holidays because I won't be able to fly etc. I kind of think it's a good thing though because it gives me drive to succeed and deep down I know there's no reason I shouldn't be able to. Hope DH has no issues either but no indication of that so 🤷‍♀️

@Makingawish I find it too hard to imagine future life with kids, in case it doesn't happen! I don't think I'll be letting my imagination loose until I'm safely in the 2nd trimester. Can't wait for that to happen.

Morning ladies. I'm full of symptoms today. Had some nausea and cramps. Also had some spotting this morning and I thought oh no AF has arrived early! But nothing since so I'm wondering if it could have been implantation? But also a bit worried AF will be arriving in full force soon. I'll just have to wait and see! I've not noticed any spotting in my previous two cycles.

How is everyone else?

I stupidly caved and took a test this morning which was of course BFN because I'm only 8DPO and reviews of the tests are actually awful but then I looked at my apps and I have 3 but they all predict AF as being on 3 separate dates being 10th, 12th or 14th so I have no idea when to even test now!
