Hi guys,

I’ve done a few threads on here for ttc but this month I am in a new positive state of mind and I am determined to get that BFP!!

I’ve been to the GP today who said my bloods have come back fine for hormones etc and just that I am very low on vit d (which I knew from last check up and have been taking vitamin tabs twice a day) anyway....

She has said there is nothing to suggest any infertility or that I’m not ovulating and that perhaps I am ovulating and not timing it. I was convinced at this appointment I would be prescribed chlomid, but no she said that I just need to come back in 2 months with a new blood test and see from there...

I came away disheartened and a little bit like I’d given up until I thought hold on she said there was no reason to suggest in infertile or have a problem therefore I am fertile and need to work harder! So I got online ordered loads of OPKs, preseed and a basal thermometer.

I also downloaded Sperm Meets Egg and I am determined this month to follow rule by rule. Sorry that was very long! But I am due AF any minute so will be tracking from about day 8 anybody want to do the journey with me??

@VenusStarr that’s great you’ve started. I haven’t used it yet I’m still too early in my cycle and waiting for AC. So are you going to use less next time? Fantastic you feel positive for this month.

I know you said it felt like you was weeing 😂 but did it feel like a good added extra? I want to hurry up and catch up to you guys! Bloody amazon delivery! 😂

I think I definitely have ovulated as my temp has stayed high but Ava says my temp dropped so this should be interesting to see who is right.

@AllHopeAndNoResults you have to wait maximum 10mins to see if your opk is positive although when I had a spike it went positive pretty much immediately but definitely give it a bit more time.

@VenusStarr @Skyla01 Unfortunately I don't have your self discipline with testing lol. My AF is due next weekend (when I'm away in Paris of all weekends) so I'll definitely be taking some tests with me so fingers crossed for all of us!

@AllHopeAndNoResults I think your latest post was responding to me! 😄 I think I might just reduce to 2g and that should do it. It seemed to just spill a bit so didn’t get to have the benefit of the extra. It was much easier to use than I expected though with the applicator. I tried to get my DH to do it for me but he was like “absolutely not” 🤣

@Makingawish yes sorry it was to you! Hmm maybe report back with an update of a less amount 😂 my DP said exactly the same. Is it weird to ask them to do it? I don’t get why, is it a turn off? 😂

Hello. The first day of my last period was 20th May, I found out I was pregnant on the 18th of June but misscarried and past the baby on 2nd July at 6 weeks, i didn’t have no pain & bleed for about 2/3 days. I had a positive ovulation test on 16th of July and had sex on the 14th & 13th of July so two days before ovulation, could I be pregnant again & when should I test? Thank you x

@AllHopeAndNoResults he has done the conceive+ applicators for me before but they’re tiny. He said he’d be scared about hurting me with this one because it’s about the size of a pen and he doesn’t really know the angles and stuff 😄🙈

@Bexss hi, so sorry to hear about your miscarriage 💜 you could probably test as early as now with a FRER but they do of course suggest not doing so until your period is due which will be approximately 2 weeks after you ovulated.

I tested today early got negative :( not looking great. @Maskingawish

@Makingawish they are quite big aren’t they? I’m quite weird about doing it myself I’d prefer someone who can see better to do it 😂

@Bexss I’m sorry for your loss ❤️ But I wouldn’t get into the habit of testing too early. Maybe just wait until you know for sure AF was due and late? Some tests can still be negative this early but I wouldn’t want to get your hopes up. My advice would be to just wait a little longer x

@AllHopeAndNoResults it’s honestly just like putting a tampon in! Use a little bit of the preseed to help and it’s a breeze, honestly! At least you know it’s gone in properly then 😊

Ladies please advise!

Do you think this is the right one? I assumed for them to be in a bigger bag for some reason and the pack says 1 a day and used as a food supplement for adults? Do you think it’s just the same? I thought it was 2 a day?? Any advise or insight would be helpful

@Makingawish I don’t use tampons I’m a bit 😳 with my fange 😂 I’m sure it’ll be fine. Do I insert all the way in? Sorry!!

@tinyole are these the ones you see when you thought about ordering?

@AllHopeAndNoResults not all the way in, about half way. You’ll know when to stop but it should just glide in if you get the angle right.

@Makingawish I’m so worried I’m going to waste it 😂 DP will do it for me he doesn’t take much persuading. Well I’m going to dtd tonight and start taking AC from tomorrow and Saturday is CD10 when I’ll use preseed so I’m officially starting! I’m excited!

@AllHopeNoResults I’d start using preseed every time you DTD from tonight onwards! Good luck with it, or should I say your DP 😂 let me know how you get on. Hope you’ve got a good fan 🥵🥵

@Makingawish do you think? Ok I’ll start using it tonight then! He is going to be pleased 😂 oh we do have a fan. I have visions of my DP reading the instructions with my legs akimbo and the fan fluttering it away 😂 are you on every other day dtd now?

Hi everyone sorry to jump in the thread but I am new to this app and am new to ttc due to loads of problems and I wanted to share my experience in case anyone is going through the same . Also maybe to get some clarity off you guys too. Hope you all don't mind xxx

@dobzyj welcome, of course you can join. What are your plans? SMEP? Do you have any routines? Tell us a bit more, what CD are you on? It’s nice to have another lady on board (even though the circumstances aren’t nice) but you know what I mean 😂 x

@Bexss hey hun sorry for your loss. The ovulation tests only tell you you're about to ovulate, and it can happen up to 36hrs after the test or your body can delay it so unless you're temping or AF comes you can't confirm when you ovulated. I would continue to wait. Hope that's helped. Xxxx

@AllHopeAndNoResults that looks alright babe I looked it up on amazon although the dose is higher than what I was going to order. Is that the dose you wanted? I've attached an image of the ones I was going to order

@AllHopeAndNoResults so excited your getting going either way!! I've got all fingers and toes crossed for you. Got great feelings about this method. I haven't followed it completely but I hope we've done enough

@tinyole thank you! Do you think it is alright then? I was going for the higher dosage as that was the general amount I was seeing I thought I needed more! Perhaps I should be on 400g but I suppose it can’t hurt can it?

I really agree with you in that this method seems to be the best way. I’m sure you are doing enough you certainly are with charting etc and you can’t really do anymore than you have. Plus you have Paris to look forward too so quite rightly you have other things on your mind.

Do you think you will take a test to Paris then? I just wouldn’t want you to feel down and not enjoy it if you get a negative because you could still be testing early even though I also have good feelings for you!!

@AllHopeAndNoResults I just did a search and there's no recommended dosages for fertility as the studies are inconclusive. I would have started at a lower dose and see how you respond but bear in mind that high progesterone can affect fertility negatively as that's what's in the mini but I don't know how much it is compared to the mini pill. Can't be as much I imagine. I dunno no harm in trying 🤷🏾‍♀️
