Hey ladies
I know there's lots of threads out there for this but who's joining me?
I think I'm either 1 or 2 DPO - got a static smiley on a clear blue digital OPK on Wednesday and annoyingly didn't have any IC to test when I did actually O nor am I temping so guessing I O'd either Thursday or Friday.
I am determined NOT to symptom spot but realistically I will 😂

@Izzie1994 hmmmm strange, I have no idea? Surely you wouldn't be ovulating again or very late..

Lizzie, I'm sure I've read that dark lines on ovulation tests -when you're not ovulating- is a sign of pregnancy? Might be worth doing a test.

@Izzie1994 this can be normal before af but also some people use opks to test for pregnancy. Not 100 guaranteed to indicate a pregnancy.

@Izzie1994 OPKs can detect HcG levels too, id do a FRER deffo!

@Izzie1994 I looked back and saw you said you're 10dpo yday which would make you 11 today, no reason why it couldn't be a potential indication of pregnancy, get yourself a frer! X

Thanks for your advice! I'm worried that I'll get a BFN again and I'm fed up of seeing them!

Why oh why is POAS so addictive?!

I am fully aware that I am only 7 or 8dpo today. I'm also aware that there is absolutly no point in testing that early. Also in the middle of a break between IVF transfers. Why would it happen now if it hasn't for 2 years?!

Yet I STILL POAS this morning which of course was a BFN!!

Just, can someone just slap me 😂😂😂

@LouLouB1987 Hiw about we slap each other, I'm exactly the same. Going to have to fight myself in the morning not to test with frer! Don't worry you're not the only one, and yes a bfn at 7/8 dpo indicates nothing yet! X

@maria2bela It's just so hard!! If we can just sit on our hands and resist the urge.... but they are just there in the tempting pink packaging 🙈

I had this awful stabbing pain in my ovary (left side more) in the early hours of this morning and then I swear to god I could taste something metallic today. I know I'm symptom spotting beyond belief but I can't help myself.
I am 7dpo today.
That's so weird you should say that @sao811 Was your pain a dull ache or a sharp pain before?
Have you done a pg test @Izzie1994?
Fx that's a good sign @Herewegoagain89! I've had dull very mild af like cramping since the pain I had overnight but I know I can get this sometimes before af is due to come (like a week before) I think my lt phase is around 12 days normally.

@MrsLBear it was sharp, i remember it because I was driving when it happened and I pulled over because it caught me by surprise! Then had spotting the nexr day so just thought maybe it was my period, turns out it wasn't 😂

@sao811 that's so interesting cos mine was sharp too. I was in bed, asleep and it woke me up -I don't remember it dead clear as I was half asleep but it was sharp and so uncomfortable. I remember thinking omg what is that ok go away I need sleep. I'm really trying NOT to symptom spot but for some reason I vaguely remember having something similar when I had my last BFP. And when I look back on my cycles it was around the same DPO. Wishful thinking - perhaps?

Morning everyone. I've not tested yet, I think I might pop to the shop today and get one to do tomorrow morning. If I'm completely honest, I don't feel pregnant so not sure whether to just wait for AF.
How's everyone else getting on?

@MrsLBear Well it's definitely possible to be getting symptoms around this time potentially because of implantation etc. Looking forward to testing on Sunday but not very hopeful tbh.

@Izzie1994 I'm exactly the same, I feel like AF is on her way 😣

God ladies I caved and tested, got a strange inconclusive test negative and then positive this morning! I'm only 7dpo today.
I've still got hope and I'm going to save my other tests for Sunday!

Ohhhh exciting @Islandermum Why was the test strange? Was the other a clear positive? If so I'd a congrats is in order! X

I took the test last night and I woke up and it was positive! Think i may have been a little silly and cracked open the FRER casing to have a good look inside and I think it may have given me a false positive!

I'm going to assume it's nothing to get excited for but I'll update you in a couple of days when I test again! Fingers crossed for me!

Please may I also have a slap or 3... I'm going bat shit crazy symptom spotting so much I even have prostate cancer aswell now hahaha!! I'm loosing it ladies! Also what is this frer you speak of?

Haha @Elles1980 stop it! You must try and talk yourself out of it! FRERs are First Response pregnancy tests. You can get them at boots, superdrug, Amazon. They are really sensitive and give you the earliest result!
I think I'll likely test tomorrow as I will be 8dpo and hopefully if there is something it will show then but I don't expect anything until around 12dpo!

@Islandermum oooo your only one day ahead of me , I feel like I may have slight period symptoms actually and just hoping not. If I'm not pregnant this month I won't be sad it's another month to prepare for sleepless night and all that jazz, I'm trying to be positive but I annoy myself sometimes lol! Oh I'll have to get one of those then. What is the earliest anyone has tested positive just out of curiosity (asking for my pal pahaha) xx

I'm going mad waiting and im only 5dpo, debating doing my first at 8dpo on Monday, got a FRER and some cheapies off amazon

@elles1980 I think you start being able to get clear positives at around 8dpo!
@sao811 I'm 8dpo tomorrow and I am absolutely testing! I wouldn't blame you but also know I should advise you to wait.

Tbh ladies, I took another test this evening 7dpo obviously not fmu and there is literally the faintest of second lines, so faint I don't think it would show up on a picture. I'm feeling really positive this month, all of my usual cramping has gone away, breasts are getting sore (not normal af symptom for me) and I had a nap on the sofa tonight (last time I did that I was 5 weeks pregnant)...really don't want to get my hopes up too high but I'll keep you all posted.

Thank you everyone for your lovely words and support, it truly means a lot. I think I will need some form of counselling at some point but not just now. Anyway, I'm refusing to test or acknowledge the fact I may be pregnant right now. I'm in absolute denial that I've had a fair few wines tonight on my holidays and I have no means of testing until Monday therefore I will continue my indulgence until then. I know I sound like a monster but honestly with all this am
I/aren't I I just need a break and relax and screw it attitude. Again thank you to everyone who has posted, you are right my daughter had a name and should matter. Her name was Lucy, she had dark hair and looked exactly like her brother, she was beautiful x
