Today I definitely feel queasy, changing a pooey nappy this morning nearly made me gag and I'm usually pretty unbothered by those sort of things. DH reckons my boobs are bigger too and I've got some cramping going on. If I don't test tomorrow I think I'll try and test on Sunday. Realistically if I am pregnant it would be good to be able to tell my manager before she goes on holiday at the beginning of August, as I work in a higher risk job and would need to duck out of certain duties.

Sophieb15 · 24/07/2019 09:38

@mrssunshinexxx no sign yet thought AF would be here this morning over pains. They feel a bit different to usual and boobs very sore today but I seem to have different symptoms every month and still get AF so I'm not out until she comes.

I never test early and I'm tempted to test. But I wouldn't the earliest I will test is Sunday if AF hasn't come.

With my first I had weird cycles and was off any birth control for 3 years but we weren't actively trying and I had no idea when I ovulated or about EWCM. I was on CD 33(only BD CD 5&7 so still gobsmacked I got a BFP) I used CB digital. But I know that the FRER's are supposed to be the most sensitive.

Boots have a digital too that is supposed to be good but they say not to test with it until after missed period.

Victoriamcm · 24/07/2019 09:39

@mumofbun yeh they do.... And are constantly looking for updates

mumofbun · 24/07/2019 09:48

@Victoriamcm oh that's hard! i was wondering if they were just asking when you were going to try not realising you already were. My sister is a bit the same but not to bad as always asking for updates - she made a comment about hoping there was a baby in there and prodding my stomach once and i just told her straight to leave it. It's hard though because it's probably good to have some support but if they are adding to your stress i would just ask them to back off a little.

I def think i'm out this month, the cramping is getting worse and i'm just feeling generally bleurgh

Sophieb15 · 24/07/2019 09:56

@Victoriamcm @mumofbun Ye are not out until AF arrives. Try stay positive.

My sister just found out she was pregnant Sunday and she had 5 days of cramping on the friday she was doubled over with a hot water bottle!!!! So cramping can mean either Smile

Victoriamcm · 24/07/2019 10:01

@mumofbun @sophieb15 it's hard to keep positive. I'll keep focused on other things I think. Until af arrived or otherwise.

Yeh they mean well but it's intense. Feel like I'm letting people down as they are always awaiting good news

lori2019 · 24/07/2019 10:19

Time for me to exit the July bus. Best of luck to all you waiting on your BFP. Off to August I go... if it doesn't work this month doc is scheduling hysteroscopy for Sept.

Sophieb15 · 24/07/2019 10:41

@Victoriamcm I was like you the first few months but now on Month 6 I'm just like it's literally out of our hands you have a 25% chance of conceiving every month if you BD in your fertile window.

@lori2019 Sorry to hear. Might see you on the Aug bus in a few days.

mrssunshinexxx · 24/07/2019 10:52

@Sophieb15 I have to admit I can't believe I did it but went out and bought cheapies this morning and it was a bfn ... deflated

Sophieb15 · 24/07/2019 10:56

@mrssunshinexxx Are you sure your 13DPO normally they say AF comes 14 days after confirmed O and if not to take a test!! The longest an LP can be is 16 days. Friday would make you 15 DPO?

mrssunshinexxx · 24/07/2019 10:57

@Sophieb15 I'm confused :(

I don't know for certain because I didn't use opk but going from ovulation pains and discharge i am certain is was 11th July or maybe a day either side ..,

OP posts:
mrssunshinexxx · 24/07/2019 11:02

@Sophieb15 what do you thinks going on.. maybe I should use a FR test?

OP posts:
ThatSamIAm · 24/07/2019 11:03

@Sophieb15 cramping pains can definitely be a sign I always think of it as being stretching pains rather than cramping. I think it feels a little different to AF cramps but it's subtle. My first pregnancy my boobs were on fire in the first few weeks too, getting up in the morning was painful and I remember walking around holding them so that they didn't support their own weight as it felt like I had red hot pokers through them!

AmIseeingRight · 24/07/2019 11:06

Reading how long some of you have been trying and the situations you have faced, honestly for everyone who has kept their sanity month after month I salute you!! im going crazy with symptom watching.

this morning I started getting waves of nausea which is new and never happens before AF so I caved, tested (not with FMU) and obviously got a BFN!! TBH it could easily have been due to the heat, being in a hot car! I just want to know!!! Flo App says I'm due Sat (feels like so far away) ConfusedConfusedConfused

Sophieb15 · 24/07/2019 11:29

@AmIseeingRight I had waves of Nausea all day yesterday and I can get it before AF but not to the extent of what I had yesterday. I'm 9 DPO today Had cramping yesterday seem to be ok so far today hoping I don't cramp but boobs way sorer today.

Wait until Sat and if AF stays away test on Sunday with FMU. What cycle is this for you? Is it your first baby?

@ThatSamIAm I dunno I can get PMS a few days before AF is due but normally its bad backache and cramping. Yesterday was weird. More like wind cramps and Nausea no backache. Ok today so far but boobs killing me(which is an AF symptoms for me so I dunno)

@mrssunshinexxx Will you post a pic of you app?

Sophieb15 · 24/07/2019 11:33

@mrssunshinexxx I actually just looked back and saw your pic of your app. What day did your EWCM Start and what day did it end? Did you get a blob hanging out any of the days? Sorry TMI

AmIseeingRight · 24/07/2019 11:58

@Sophieb15 I'm embarrassed to say its only cycle #1 for baby #2, but with my first I was on the pill so no TTC. This is all new to me and I'm already driving myself crazy, I'm also 36 so logically I expect it to take a while plus we only DTD at the start and end of my predicted fertile window, so don't even know why driving myself crazy the chances are so slim! lol

mrssunshinexxx · 24/07/2019 12:03

@Sophieb15 I think 9th and 10th and no blob just wet and clear sorry also TMI!

What are you thinking ? Should I get a more expensive test x

OP posts:
Sophieb15 · 24/07/2019 12:14

@AmIseeingRight I was exactly the same cycle one I thought I'd be the lucky one who got pregnant first month. I'm on #2 aswell my little girl is 4 in Nov so hoping it happens soon as there is already a big gap. This is month 6 for me but my cycles are still a bit all over the place. Before my first I used have 28-34 day cycles now I have been between 26-30 day cycles so I'd say my body still hasn't regulated properly after getting the implant out. I'm on CD 28 today and according to when I Ovulated I'm due Sat.

Don't be embarrassed every month is hard but I think after a few months of it not happening you do mellow out a bit.

Sophieb15 · 24/07/2019 12:17

@mrssunshinexxx was it stretchy? Which day did you have the cramping? Buy a FRER today but don't take it until tomorrow if AF hasn't arrived and use FMU. How long are your cycles normally and what date did AF start last month?

mrssunshinexxx · 24/07/2019 12:42

@Sophieb15 sorry I don't notice t being stretchy..

Cramps were mainly on 11th quite bad most of day and a little bit on 12th

Do you think I should just wait and see if af comes ?

What were you saying about 16 day luteal phase ? Xxx

OP posts:
mumofbun · 24/07/2019 12:44

@sophieb15 @Victoriamcm

I'm finding it hard because pretty much anything that can be a symptom of implantation can also be AF on it's way. Def feeling out of sorts today either way.

@AmIseeingRight Flo says i'm due Saturday too. I didn't think nausea was a usual symptom for me for AF either until i started properly tracking symptoms and seems i get it most months :(

@mrssunshinexxx Just looked back at your app too - so flo predicts your ovulation on CD20 but you think it was the 11th CD 14? I would def be doing some opks or temps in your position as your cycles are longer than average it can be hard to work out. I know you're fairly confident due to EWCM and cramps but i was as well and then when i did the opks and temps together they put my OD as 16 not 13/14 which is what i thought. I think the thing is everyone is different so it's hard to compare but for me i thought the EWCM was happening just the day before ovulation but it was actually a few days before? I haven't had a bfp though so maybe that's all rubbish Confused

mrssunshinexxx · 24/07/2019 12:51

@mumofbun thank you for the reply I appreciate all help x

I am 100% doing opks next month and going to buy the more expensive ones it's just that I want this month to be my month ( stamps feet )

Atleast if I do opks next month and can dtd couple days before and on the day I know I can't do any more I suppose at the moment I'm guessing a little x

AmIseeingRight · 24/07/2019 12:53

Thanks for the reassuring words @Sophieb15 :) My DS just turned 3 so would like to have next one soon, and now that we've decided I just want it to happen! impatient much!. next month no TCC so it will be Sept before we try again. Hmm oh well! lets wait and see. Sunday we should know!

mumofbun · 24/07/2019 12:54

@mrssunshinexxx I just think because everyones visible symptoms can be quite different. For example, i have never ever had a blob hanging out but just see stretchy mucus when i wipe. @sophieb15 obviously does see a blob. Maybe for you, it's not as stretchy and more just wet, or maybe you don't produce as much so it's actually later in your cycle and you haven't noticed. I would recommend the femometer app and then you can do temps and have it analyse your opks too!
