Hey again guys!!

CD 31 for me and currently now officially 8DPO according to Flo and Ovia 🤷🏼‍♀️ although haven't had a definite positive with OPKs as I didn't test on holiday so guessing I missed it haha typical 🙄

Feeling proper down. Think I'm out. Did BD last night and had bleeding after, slightly pink with cramps. I've still got cramps now 😭 think AF is arriving. Had a bfn this morning 10dpo. Similar thing has happened last two months x

@Hannah1925 hold on on there. It's not over yet. I've had cramps on an off and a bit of vvv light spotting everyday since OV. Everyone's different and you can't tell yet! X

@mumof1hants OH shift changing to all evenings mon to Thur next week. So I need to work around that. We already did CD 6 My plan is do CD 9,11 first then wait until I get my Static smiley and do the day i get it and the 3 days after. If we get that done then I'll be happy that we couldn't of possibly done anymore this month.

Loads of EWCM the past couple of days, very different than usual and a sore lower back this morning! My bbt has been all over the place so not sure on that! Holding out till AF is due to test!

@Hannah1925 fingers crossed indeed! I'm good but just impatient to get back to my stash of internet cheapies!

@Hannah1925 I think ill test again on Sunday. It's so hard to resist though!

So my thermometer will arrive today - any tips for starting temps? Fertile week should start Sunday so i'm going to attempt OPKs from then aswell.

@mumofbun try and be as consistent as possible with your timings of taking it, I leave mine right beside my bed and I take it the moment I wake up before I move around or anything so it can be as accurate as possible

@Yougottabekittenme ok that's a good idea. I was thinking of leaving it next to my bed and phone so my alarm goes off and i do it straight away!

@mumofbun yep that’s exactly what I have, also get an app to track it all on including opks and cm, all thoses things combined should give you good accuracy

@Yougottabekittenme yeah i think there is an app that goes along side the thermometer that does all that too :)

Hi Ladies!

I've not been on here for a week but just thought I'd share my good news and tell everyone... DO NOT TEST EARLY!! Resist the urge.
So last week at 10/11 DPO I decided to take a test early because I'm so impatient. It was a clear bfn not even squinting could find me a line, and I felt absolutely gutted.

I was due on yesterday and nothing happened so when I got back from work today my DH was just pouring me a glass of wine and I thought oh why not maybe I should just text again with a digital. I've got light cramps today so was expecting AF any moment... And today it came up with my BFP!

I've not experienced any symptoms except I've had a headache this last week which is unusual for me. I think it might be all the hormone changes. Not really sure though.

It's obviously very early days but thank you to @Sophieb15 and @mumof1hants who told me about the SMEP - it obviously works!! X

Huge congrats @Emma272 I also think early testing is madness... obviously it's really hard to wait but your period will either come or it won't and I personally find a bfn much much worse than af

I've been testing early for the last 3 months and it just sucks when you get a bfn.

So after 8 months of trying it's probably just luck but the SMEP is to DTD:
CD 8
CD10
And then every other day until you get a positive OPK (I got mine of CD12)

On your positive day they say to DTD 3 days in a row and then leave it a day and one more time. X

I'm not planning on using opk or temping unfortunately so think I will stick with plan of dtd every other day from cd 10 til 10 days after ovulation
God I hope it works this month you must feel so happy x
