I'm so sorry to read your posts @Mumlili8 my heart goes out to you

strawberrye · 25/08/2019 07:36

Hi penguins, sorry to read of more losses and those of you struggling with people being insensitive.

@mumlili8 I am so, so sorry for what you are going through. It's so unbelievably cruel. Have you considered a Tommy's referral? I know you used progesterone from BFP this time but a lot of your very early losses sound like mine - when I saw Prof Quenby at Coventry she said it sounded like low progesterone but taking it from BFP wouldn't be enough and recommended I take it from 7dpo to allow the lining to support implantation. I've no idea whether that was what helped or not but after almost 2 years TTC and my losses, this pregnancy was conceived first month on Professor Quenby's plan. Might be a total coincidence but might not. I really don't want to come across as that smug pregnant woman who wades in offering unsolicited advice (so please forgive me if I do) but I truly believe she could help you. She can also offer the NK testing that Dr Shehata does and I'm inclined to trust her more than Dr S who sounds like a bit of a cowboy sometimes. I'm sure they could look into the possibility of Ashermans syndrome too. I'm not really religious but I want to pray for you, you so deserve to have some good news after everything you've been through. Sending lots of love.

Aaah sod it, more spotting yesterday and today. Had hoped it was post coital as managed to dtd yesterday afternoon on what I thought was cd 16, which is still in my potentially fertile period as my cycles are usually long. But crampy this morning and spotting is heavier so not much hope of it being anything other than PCOS playing games with me again and handing me a super short cycle instead. Sigh. Back to square one.

fnej01 · 25/08/2019 11:01

@Mumlili8 @strawberrye because of NK cells I also started progesterone at 7 dpo to support implantation. It might have been entirely coincidental but this was the strongest positives I have had. I think you have to be careful with dosage if you start early tho as it can be a contraception on too high dose. I was 200mg x 2 a day. X

I've been a poas addict this week 🙈 feel like a crazy woman lol.
Can anyone see a wee faint line on this frer? Used fmu. Don't know if I'm just squinting at it for too long x

Can totally see a VVV faint line on that @FirstTimeMama91 but aren't they sometimes a bit known for super faint lines never though? I know that POAS addiction feeling. Fingers crossed for you.

So 5dpo and bleeding.... pretty sure it's too heavy for implantation though? We did have unprotected sex though, despite us saying we would want until at least Sep/Oct 🤦‍♀️

FirstTimeMama91 · 25/08/2019 17:18

@TwittleBee yep 🙈🙈 I'll do another one in the morning lol. Awk hopefully it's an implantation bleed for you fx 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Noisysparrows · 25/08/2019 20:24

@TwittleBee come and join me in the confused.com corner with the random bleeding. I hope yours is implantation (if that's what you want!). It's tailed off a bit here but still a bit of brown spotting, no idea what to think tbh. Don't want to start being hopeful just to be disappointed.

@FirstTimeMama91 it looks hopeful but not a definite yes or no, I've not found FRER particularly bad for squinters though and I've wee'd on a LOT of them in my time. Fingers crossed tomorrow gives you a happy result x

TwittleBee · 25/08/2019 21:48

I'd be over the moon but a complete anxious wreck if it does turn out to be IB @Noisysparrows but doubt it is as been having to change both tampon and pad hourly now as it's so heavy. So confused! Really hoping yours is IB, has to be hopeful with it tailing off.

Noisysparrows · 27/08/2019 09:31

@TwittleBee how are you? did it turn into full AF or are you still in weird bleeding limbo?

Spotting seems to have tailed off here. Don't want to set myself up for disappointment by being too hopeful at this point though...

@FirstTimeMama91 any developments?

TwittleBee · 27/08/2019 09:47

Well actually without being TMI @Noisysparrows I'm currently sitting on the toilet because I'm bleeding so much, in quite a bit of pain too. Wondering if maybe this should be a call to the doctors now.

Does sound hopeful for you but totally understand not wanting to let yourself get hopeful.

Noisysparrows · 27/08/2019 10:01

Oh gosh @TwittleBee poor you. Absolutely call 111, it doesn't sound normal and you should probably get checked out especially given recent c/s. Hope you can be seen quickly xxx

ReeReeR · 27/08/2019 11:18

Hope you’re ok @TwittleBee Agree you should call the doctor as it sounds like heavy bleeding x

FirstTimeMama91 · 27/08/2019 19:03

ReeReeR · 27/08/2019 20:23

How are you doing @TwittleBee?

Noisysparrows · 27/08/2019 21:42

@TwittleBee hope you're ok xx

Congrats @FirstTimeMama91, that's lovely news! Hope it's good and sticky this time. No news here, just twiddling my thumbs waiting to see if spotting stops or AF arrives. Will test in a few days if it does stop but not feeling hopeful on that front!

FirstTimeMama91 · 28/08/2019 07:45

@Noisysparrows Awk my fingers are crossed for you 🙏🏻🤞🏻 hopefully you get good news x

TwittleBee · 28/08/2019 10:20

Ah tentative congrats FirstTimeMama ! FX for you!

Yes so I've got bloomin Pelvic Inflammatory Disease again. Had this post birth with DS1 too

ReeReeR · 28/08/2019 13:04

That’s annoying @TwittleBee Will that affect you TTC?

Noisysparrows · 28/08/2019 13:08

Oh bugger @TwittleBee. Poor you, how are you feeling? Hope you've got some super strength antibiotics and it doesn't take too long to recover. Sending love xx

TwittleBee · 28/08/2019 13:08

If i left it then it causes infertility ReeReeR ! So relieved I have the antibiotics to get it sorted quickly now. Shouldnt effect me if it clears up, we dont really want to start trying properly until Nov/Dec anyway.

How are you doing today?

ReeReeR · 28/08/2019 19:26

Good you caught it then and hopefully it clears up quickly. I’m ok, thanks, a bit up and down but maybe just tired from first week at work and have tomorrow off.

Hope everyone else is ok.

Pegase · 28/08/2019 23:05

Sorry to hear that @TwittleBee - that's all you need!

Congratulations @FirstTimeMama91 🌈

Mumlili8 · 28/08/2019 23:30

So AF/mc lasted for 3 days then stopped for a day and now bleeding again. Have any of you ladies ever had this. Also my temps are higher now than before AF/mc, it did drop down below cover line the same day the bleeding started. So I tested to make sure but bfn on frer. I'm not sure what to think.
I also made my very first green drink today and I have to say not a fan. Do any of you ladies do green drinks and what ingredients do you use?

Noisysparrows · 29/08/2019 07:55

@Mumlili8 I often have a couple of days bleeding and then nothing and then more bleeding in a normal period and it definitely happened post mc this time too. No idea the cause but as I'm polycystic it's reasonable to assume slightly wonky hormones, which would be understandable for you as well post cp.

I do drink vegetable smoothies, if that's what you mean? Or is this a specific TTC greens drink? Mine are protein powder, courgette, spinach, yoghurt and water usually. Sometimes egg white or a banana too if I've been hitting the weights a lot! I don't add any greens supplements like spirulina or wheatgrass because they taste vile, I used to mix them with apple juice and take them like a shot though but I'm not committed enough to do that any more!

Have now been spotting for 5 days +, I broke and did a test yesterday afternoon and bfn (although wasted my time squinting at the evap for a while, but even my concentrated efforts couldn't make it a proper line Grin). So no luck for me this month and no idea where I might be in a cycle, it's only a bit of pink/red on wiping (sorry tmi) so not enough bleeding to be a proper AF and nor was it last time, no clue if I'm even ovulating. So freaking frustrating.
