Positive test but I’m bleeding

I started bleeding a week after my period finished today which was weird so I took a test and for the first time in my life, it was positive. Obviously I then immediately took about 40 more tests

I’ve attached my Flo app screen which is accurate and I know I ov’ed on the 5th because I tested.

WTF is going on and why am I bleeding? Am I early miscarrying?

Bleeding is when I wipe and there was a little bit of cramping earlier. My period on the 17th- 20th was completely normal.

Do I need to call 111?

With my 3dc I bled on and off for the first 16 weeks after having sex have u and dp DTD it's quite common but if u are worried ring epu and ask them xx

So this fits with the date I think I conceived and the bleeding has settled down, but how come I had a period?? I’m so confused and don’t want to celebrate

Maybe tmi but was it your normal flow or just spotting.? Sometimes you get spotting (implantation bleeds) which is really common. Also some women continue to have periods throughout pregnancy it's not unheard of. Chin up op they look like very strong positives x

Period was totally normal and bang on time (maybe 2 days early?), heavy for 2 days with lots of cramp and then tailed off like it normally does I didn’t take tests this month or anything because I was so sure I wasn’t pregnant

I was bleeding quite a lot earlier today but it seems to have stopped now although still there when I wipe.

My nan had periods in her second pregnancy for about 5 months I think so wasnt even convinced she was pregnant. My auntie is convinced that she was carrying twins but lost one. But bleeding is quite normal in early pregnancy I know my sister had some in her first pregnancy but phone or see GP if worried. Congratulations if it is a BFP!!! xx

Bleeding isn’t too bad now but the cramping is and it’s one sided so currently at the out of hours GP

Well I’m certainly pregnant. EPU tomorrow for an early scan, OOH GP thinks I’m about 5 and a half weeks by his reckoning

They’ve said I don’t need to panic and they’ve said to take more pregnancy tests between now and Monday. I’m going for an early scan at 9am on Monday morning.

Properly freaked out. Has anyone had bleeding and had a positive outcome?

To be honest, it sounds hopeful in your situation. Some women have bleeding and if you continued with you pregnancy even through your last period, I would be likely to keep my fingers crossed and be quietly excited. Bleeding can be normal for some women in pregnancy.

I think my last period might have been the miscarriage (so 17th - 20th June), the bleeding was heavy for 2 days and then tailed off like a normal period would. Then last nights bleeding was spotting following that?

I don’t see how a pregnancy could have survived the heavy bleeding so soon after conception iyswim.

This pregnancy is so absolutely and profoundly wanted, we’re terrified to be hopeful

I’m hoping it’s because my urine is more diluted but I think I’m clutching at straws. It’s going to be a very long weekend!

I’ve passed a couple of clots today (tmi) they were stringy and brown and one of them had a hard, ligament type thing in it about half an inch long. It was about 2mm thick. I’m terrified that that was the baby

I haven’t bled that much in all and haven’t cramped much today, but it’s not looking good is it?

Still getting BFP’s and clear blue still says 2-3 weeks but I’m losing hope

Ok, so the bottom test is from this morning and the rest are yesterday. The line has definitely gotten darker again, that’s good right??

I had a “period” which lasted about 2 weeks. It was strange, but didn’t even think I was pregnant. I only tested when I was feeling exhausted and nauseous, I was 9 weeks by that point! I’ve got everything crossed for you. I continued to have sporadic bleeding throughout pregnancy and each time I was very worried, but doctors weren’t concerned.

@Norrisskipjack looks really positive!! Yesterday could have been because your pee was diluted

I’m trying not to test today and will test again tomorrow morning and compare line strength again.

Trying to adopt a ‘whatever will be will be’ mindset but it’s hard going. I have no symptoms other than my boobs feel swollen today and all I want to eat is fruit

I can’t know anything until Monday, so it’s a bit like schrodinger’s foetus at the moment.

The bleeding has stopped and from what I can feel my cervix is closed and high, but I’m not sure

Argh. If anyone has some words of wisdom I could really use some
