Anyone in the TWW???

Hi everyone,

So as the title says is there anyone in the TWW?
DH and I said we would try for number 2 after summer but whoops we've had a couple of slips. I looked at my ovulation app (which has never failed me before to get pregnant) and both times it was in my fertile days.

So here's the confusion.. I apparently was in my fertile days from 8th-13th June.
13th June being the day of ovulation. We DTD 8th June and 11th June. The last couple of days I have had very bad cramps low down. This can't be implantation yet so was it ovulation pains? My CM was snot like some of it thick but also some of it was slippery too sorry TMI!! am so confused, feeling I've missed the boat.
This TWW is stressful. I've never temped or taken OPK's as it's always been quite easy for me to fall pregnant (I've had a lot of miscarriages Sad)
We are lucky enough to have a DD though.
DH is actually quite excited that we could be pregnant but I just don't know and feeling quite impatient!

Love to hear from you guys and your stories too!

Liv x

@Abi58 I am around 5dpo. I've noticed a few things but they're not necessarily pregnancy related, but at the same time could be? If you get my drift. Arghhhh it's so annoying and confusing. Clutching at straws perhaps! Longest TWW ever but this thread is really helping me get through it 😊

Hi @LA89

I know how you feel, my app and ovulation tests are telling me different things. Is it worth investing in the clear blue ovulation tests.

This waiting is killing me.

Quick question how do you all feel about having baths in the TWW? I've read mixed things ? Bath's chill me out lol

@RoRosmama @Abi58 @LA89 @Treaclepie19

Abi58 · 18/06/2019 13:24

@Treaclepie19 ah so similar cd then 🤞🏻 and luck you getting to test sooner😁

@RoRosmama I'll be with you in s few days I'll convince myself it is a symptom but 3dpo I doubt it can be 😩
Although really weirdly and sorry tmi down there I keep feeling tingly 🤷🏻‍♀️ probably nothing but it's odd, sort of like butterflies lol!

@MrsHufflepuffMS I'd say baths are fine! Maybe don't have like a hot tub hit if your worried but even that should be ok it's more that you overhear and can't cool yourself down as efficiently but a bath this early shouldn't affect anything. I'm going to have one this weekend 😁

MrsHufflepuffMS · 18/06/2019 13:31

@Abi58
Thanks, that's good to know. I love my baths.
I don't think there's such think has TMI at this stage :)
I've had like a twinge strain on my left side for days now. Starting to think if it's not a pregnancy related. There might be a problem.

I think I've hit the denial stage. 😅 look up stages of TWW lol.

Treaclepie19 · 18/06/2019 13:52

🙈 I'm falling asleep on the sofa!
A sign? Or just tiredness from an early rising 3yo 😂

AcesHigh666 · 18/06/2019 14:27

I’m 9dpo.

Tested yesterday and was bfn.

I had a massive drop in bbt on 6dpo that rose high the next morning on 7dpo.

Don’t know what to think.

Good luck to all xx

LA89 · 18/06/2019 14:37

@RoRosmama

AHH sounds like we will be testing at the same time. Fingers crossed for 2 BFP for us!

@Abi58 i did have my wd bleed which started Sunday 26th of May and lasted 6 days which is normal for me. Flo app predicted AF due this Sunday the 23rd so I was all geared up to test end of this week but as I only ovulated Thursday/Friday I think I'll have to push that back a week which is making for a super long wait 😔

@MrsHufflepuffMS I'd say definitely worth it. At least for a few months so you get an accurate grip on your cycle and when you ovulate. My Flo app had ovulation 6 days before I actually ovulated according to the CB ovulation kit which I'm assuming must be accurate? The app was saying I wouldn't get pregnant at all by the time I actually ovulated so if I'd relied on that I'd have completely missed my window.

If I don't get my BFP this month I'm definitely going to use them again next month so I know exactly when my fertile window is

Fingers crossed and baby dust to all xxx

MrsHufflepuffMS · 18/06/2019 14:48

@RoRosmama I used the cheap Amazon ovulation sticks this month, just not sure if I should spend the extra extra money on the branded stuff, like clear blue?

MrsHufflepuffMS · 18/06/2019 14:52

@AcesHigh666
Hi welcome, a dip must be a good sign. All we can do is wait. Sometimes, there aren't any signs sometimes there are.
Fingers crossed for you, please join us in going loopy, if you feel the need :) :) :)

SwimmerGirl40 · 18/06/2019 14:57

Yes. AF due on Thursday/Friday.

Is being very highly strung and over sensitive a sign of pregnancy? Or am I just premenstrual? It’s worse than usual this month.

MrsHufflepuffMS · 18/06/2019 15:29

It's definitely a sign. But it could be a sign that you're totally stressed out.

Let us know how Thursday goes, then you can tell us 😁😁🤗

SwimmerGirl40 · 18/06/2019 15:36

I lost my temper with DP on Sunday. Took offence to a message my sister sent and switched my phone off. Snapped at a cold caller.

Also exhausted but I am really busy at work too. Let’s see what Thurs/Fri brings...

Good luck everyone!

SwimmerGirl40 · 18/06/2019 15:57

I am also getting twinges, just to the left of my belly button. Could be wind as I think that’s too high up to be my womb.

The TWW drives me mad as I notice everything.

@MrsHufflepuffMS me too! That sounds promising!! 🤞🏻

Not heard of that I'll have a look 😁

@Treaclepie19 could be either 🤷🏻‍♀️🤞🏻

@AcesHigh666 you can have the dip and it doesn't necessarily mean anything. 🤞🏻 for you though 9dpo is still really early! (And looks like you tested at 8?

@LA89 sounds like you've managed to get your body back on track really quickly! Just add 14 days to the date of ovulation 😁🤞🏻

@SwimmerGirl40 good luck!

RoRosmama · 18/06/2019 17:25

Hello everyone!!! Lots of new people, yay!!!! Please join us in going barmy 😂 @SwimmerGirl40 I was sooooo moody, snappy and intolerant throughout the first and third trimester with DD so I'd say definitely a sign!!!

This evening I have had shooting pains from my belly button going downwards. They were really uncomfortable.

@MrsHufflepuffMS I had a bath this afternoon with DD. Go for it and have a bath, as long as it's not boiling!

How is everyone else feeling this evening? @Treaclepie19 If we don't hear from you we know you are fast asleep on the sofa 😂😂😂

Hi everyone, I didn’t realise having a bath could prevent conception?

I have lost weight whilst TTC as I eat really healthily and don’t drink for two weeks every month..,

RoRosmama · 18/06/2019 17:43

@SwimmerGirl40 I've heard jacuzzis aren't good. The bath thing I'm not sure about I think it's just hot water. I don't really know. @AcesHigh666 9dpo is still super early you are definitely still in with a chance! @Abi58 yay!! We can test together 😊

OP posts:
RoRosmama · 18/06/2019 17:44

@LA89 yes we can test together! 😊

AcesHigh666 · 18/06/2019 17:46

Thanks girls. Tested again today and bfn. Wish I could just wait until 14dpo lol

RoRosmama · 18/06/2019 17:50

@AcesHigh666 it's so hard to wait though isn't it? I feel ya! I always buy tests around 9/10dpo and the disappointment is always there waiting for me. I got a positive on a clear blue digital with DD at 12dpo which even I think is super early. With the miscarriages I didn't get BFP's until at least 14dpo. That's in no way me saying that later testing will lead to a miscarriage. It just happened to me x

@RoRosmama
Good job I only have a standard bath and not a jacuzzi or spa bath. My Sunday wind down usually involves a bath.

MrsHufflepuffMS · 18/06/2019 17:53

@SwimmerGirl40
I've cut pretty much everything out, but I'm sure that's over kill on my part. In regard to a baths, I avoided them pre ovulation because I was worried about the swimmers getting over heated. But based on a lot of research, I think internally we pretty much stay the same temperature. Only problem would be if you have a bath and your slowly raising the temp and its hotter then you think it is. They say avoid things such as jacuzzi when you are pregnant as you get dehydrated quicker?
That's my take on it but I'm probably over thinking it.
@RoRosmamaI I had a bath today and feel much better for it.

Although after like four days I'm STILL getting this spark twinge down on my lower left. I hate not knowing what it is.

Had a long chat with my Mum today and she's still saying when you know you know. Well I thought I knew BEFORE the ovulation test so my woman intuition is clearly broken 🤣

SwimmerGirl40 · 18/06/2019 17:54

So frustrating that early pregnancy and premenstrual symptoms are so similar!

MrsHufflepuffMS · 18/06/2019 17:59

@SummerGirl40 Totally agree, I feel really teary today :(
