One dpo today, ovulation confirmed by positive opk. Started taking Fertilty Support for Her this cycle and hit my peak at 200 on Friday morning and experienced a cramping pain on the left side of my abdomen later that evening (first time I’ve ever had ovulation pain before)! Smile Started cycle 5 this month! BBT is also beginning to climb! Anyone starting their ttw?!! Eagerly waiting to see what will become of this month! Halo

Welcome new ladies!
@keanubelieves we're worried about age gap too because our little boy will be 4.5 at the youngest.
We did have A TFMR in December. Obviously we should have had a baby when he was 3.5 but that's not the way it happened :(

Cd13 here and going cuckoo.

lonelyonee · 14/06/2019 18:33

Hey ladies, hope it's okay to join! I'm currently in the same boat. In my tww atm, 7 dpo & my Ovia app is saying 5 days until I can test, although AF not due for 7 days.
Trying to keep busy and not think too much into things, may even wait until AF does/doesn't arrive to test.
What's everyone else doing as far as testing? & any symptoms yet?
I have felt extremely tired the last couple of days, with frequent urination & today I've had awful dry mouth all day.
Thoughts/opinions welcome please! Smile

Hopeful2020 · 14/06/2019 20:12

@keanubelieves
They really are addictive, why is that?!
I read a great article that said don't bother because if it's early you won't believe the result anyway if it's negative and it's unlikely to be positive even if you do turn out to be preggers! And it's a waste of money and you feel down and disappointed with every repeat negative.
Made total sense (but I still did it, but I did hold off for a few more days!) 😂

Hopeful2020 · 14/06/2019 20:16

@lonelyonee
Hi, I'm 7dpo too - period due next weekend, but partner will be away on a stag do, so I've promised to wait and if it doesn't show we'll test next Monday. I'm usually around 28 days so will wait until actually late (assuming I don't crack beforehand and test on Thurs before he goes!)
I have a few symptoms that could be something but also could be nothing and just usual pmt stuff!
The waiting is hard! Best of luck to you x

Hopeful2020 · 14/06/2019 20:19

@Mymedusa24
Haha we've got to have a laugh! The symptom spotting is infuriating but you can't help it! I even annoy myself cos it's so vague and could be nothing! Arghhh! I explained to OH that is hard not to when its in your own body

Mymedusa24 · 14/06/2019 20:23

@lonelyonee Hello and Welcome!
If you do decide to test in 5 days, that’s not too early considering it’s only two days before your expecting AF! I plan to begin testing in two days at 8 DPO Smile (8 days away from AF)

I’ve mainly had small cramps here and there, but I did have a big one yesterday mid day. And I had a very, very small spot of blood when I wiped late in the evening.

We’re all experiencing a lot of different symptoms though to say the least! 😂

Hopeful2020 · 14/06/2019 20:24

I wouldn't worry too much about age gaps ladies, it is what it is and there is not much you can really do about it.
There's 8 years between my daughter and my son (not intentional, new partner) and I was worried how she would cope and how they'd get on, but it's been great - she's very helpful and they play together really well, she loves looking after little bro and he absolutely adores her.
When the next one comes (hopefully 🤞) she'll probably be 11 and the boy would be 3 so the dynamics will shift again, but it will all be fine and work out.
There's always pluses and minuses to everything, whether big age gap or close together, so don't worry xx

Mymedusa24 · 14/06/2019 20:29

@Hopeful2020
We do! And right?!! I keep telling myself the same! I’m having a hard time not saying anything to my OH but at least I’ve got you guys to spill too!!! 😛

lonelyonee · 14/06/2019 21:59

@Mymedusa24 thank you! I know it's not necessarily too early but I don't wanna be too eager. Aw have you? Sounds promising on implantation maybe! Fingers crossed. No cramping or blood for me but this dry mouth is a killer I actually had to google whether it was a pregnancy symptom, turns out it may well be!
@Hopeful2020 sounds like we're on exactly the same cycle! Aww no way, although that would help ensure it's 100% either way when you test if AF doesn't arrive by then. I'm going to try to do the same and wait until at least the Sunday if I can & if AF doesn't show up, but I may get a little restless before then especially if these "symptoms" continue.
Good luck to you both, and to everyone else Smile x

keanubelieves · 14/06/2019 22:15

It's different for everyone, last time I was testing every day and got a bfp exactly on the day af was due, which was I think 9 or 10dpo. Although I actually think I conceived a couple of days earlier than they eventually had me dated as and da was born 2 days before his due date which proved me right lol

Mymedusa24 · 15/06/2019 00:11

@lonelyonee I totally know what you mean, I don’t either! That’s why I set a date to begin testing and been sticking to it! And yes, maybe so!!! ❤️ I was just reading yesterday about that too! I’m on the opposite spectrum though, if anything, I’ve had more saliva! Lol

Update! I thought I had a big cramp yesterday, but I have been cramping majorly today! Did a little search on “6 DPO heavy cramping”, and it may not be pms related. The first two forums I opened regarding ladies experiencing heavy cramping on 6 DPO tested 3 days later and got BFPs’!! 😯 I’m trying to keep my cool, but I’m almost freaking out everybody!

Feeling a bit shaky and sick this morning and really thirsty. Fairly sure I feel like this every month in run up to af but hard not to symptom spot Wink

No idea really when I ov'd, could have have as late as Thurs so am somewhere between 2 and 5 dpo I guess

Mymedusa24 · 15/06/2019 16:06

7 DPO today! We’re half way through this TTW now! 🙂 Breasts are beginning to feel a little tender, and my cramping is like a very dull ache.

How’s everyone else doing?

Hi ladies

So I’m on 9dpo. AF I think is due on Tuesday. I’ve had really bad cramping. I had some brown spotting on 7dpo and 8dpo. Today I have had a lot more blood. But it’s really dark brown not bright red. The cramping has gone quite bad today. I’m so confused whether this is implantation bleeding or my period. How do I know?

Also I did a test this morning but it was negative. But from looking online I’ve read that it’s best to use the afternoon or evening urine not the morning one.

ELW85 · 15/06/2019 16:45

Hi ladies and thanks for the tag @Mymedusa24!

I’m also 7dpo today and have been desperately trying not to look into things but I’ve had sharp twinges in ovary area, heartburn (I never get this) sore boobs and a bit of dull cramping. And my temps are staying high.
I’m trying to look past it all, but AF is due Thursday so I’ll probably not test til then, and save the FRERs!

Hope everyone else is good?

@XjustagirlX - do you measure your temps?

XjustagirlX · 15/06/2019 17:06

@ELW85 no I don’t do my temps. If I’m not pregnant this cycle I will probably start tracking next month

ELW85 · 15/06/2019 17:10

@XjustagirlX - yeah, temps can be tricky to master but they’re a good measure of what’s going on :)
Got everything crossed for you!

Mymedusa24 · 15/06/2019 17:15

@XjustagirlX a lot of people do confuse them, but they say implantation bleeding typically occurs a few days sooner then your expected AF, and that’s how most differentiate between the two. It’ll take a few days for your HCG levels to rise though if it is IB. Other than that, it is common for it to last a few days! Fingers crossed it is!!! Grin

As far as the test goes, there are so many different ones it’d probably be best to follow the directions for the particular one you’re using. I’ve always heard you want to use your first morning urine.

Mymedusa24 · 15/06/2019 17:33

@ELW85 Well hopefully those are all good signs! 🙂 My temps are also staying high. As far as testing goes, I plan to begin tomorrow!

Hi @Mymedusa24 I’m feeling dreadful, really tired, got a stuffy nose now and backache. We’ve been doing DIY all day so it’s been dusty and hard work so it might be that but obvs I’m hoping not!

Mymedusa24 · 15/06/2019 19:21

@CreekyBeaky sounds like a busy day! We’ve been doing work around the house ourselves but I could totally nap too. My nose has been stuffy, but I think it has more to do with allergies than anything else.
Fingers crossed it’s not for you! Smile it’s crazy how we can feel so awful and be so hopeful for all of it! 😂

OP posts:
Hopeful2020 · 15/06/2019 20:06

So hard not to read into everything!
I've had 3 previous pregnancies (1 didn't stay) and I've definitely felt less symptoms each time, maybe as my body is more familiar with it. So using that theory I don't know why I'm even bothering looking for symptoms this time! With my last pregnancy I tested the day period was due and was shocked when positive as had no symptoms at all!
I'm 8/9 dpo today, was crampy a few days ago but settled down now, boobs could be a little tender but could be imagining it. Nothing else.
The other day I was convinced I'd definitely be pregnant, today I've been convinced I'm not! Who knows!
Fingers crossed for us all xx

Hopeful2020 · 15/06/2019 20:08

I've heard use first morning wee if testing before period due, but if testing after period is due or late then can use any time?

Hopeful2020 · 15/06/2019 20:14

I track temps too - mine tend to stay up and then drop down the day I get my period. Hoping it stays up but if it does drop down I guess that's period coming & I'll be out of the game for this month.
Halfway through the 2ww now, getting there 🤞
