One dpo today, ovulation confirmed by positive opk. Started taking Fertilty Support for Her this cycle and hit my peak at 200 on Friday morning and experienced a cramping pain on the left side of my abdomen later that evening (first time I’ve ever had ovulation pain before)! Smile Started cycle 5 this month! BBT is also beginning to climb! Anyone starting their ttw?!! Eagerly waiting to see what will become of this month! Halo

@Mymedusa24 I’ve been having some cramps too. It’s very hard to not read into every little things. I’ve broken out in spots today too! At 39 years old! I look like a teenager 😂

NinaPS · 13/06/2019 12:59

Hi ladies I hope you don't mind me joining.
This is my first cycle TTC baby #1 after a loss 2 years ago. I'm currently 3dpo or atleast I think I am (I've not been using OPKs) I don't know whether this is in my head but I feel very windy 🙈 and lots of gurgling noises with mild to moderate cramping on right hand side. I feel I'm being irrational as surely it's to early for symptoms as implantation would not have occurred yet 😭 anyone else having 'symptoms'?
Baby dust and positivity to all ❤️

XjustagirlX · 13/06/2019 13:26

So I’ve just had what I think is implantation bleeding. I’m 7dpo and it was very brown. I don’t think it’s my period as that would be more red (sorry TMI).

Mymedusa24 · 13/06/2019 14:06

@CreekyBeaky I know! Every time I get a cramp - my mind tries to wonder but that’s funny! 😂

@NinaPS Hello! I’m really sorry to hear that, but I hope everything goes well for y’all this cycle! It would be hard to say with no confirmation of when you did ovulate, I would wait for to test to help you be sure!!! 🙂

I’ve had some cramps in my abdomen!

@XjustagirlX Fingers crossed it is implantation bleeding for you!!! 😃

@Mymedusa24 I'm going to try and hold of till atleast what I think will be 12dpo, but I'm sure I crack before then 🙈 I'm so impatient

Mymedusa24 · 14/06/2019 05:06

@NinaPS well if you do, just don’t let yourself get discouraged (in the event that you don’t get your BFP)! You always run the risk of getting a BFN when testing early, but positive or negative, it’s always best to wait for that first missed period to confirm!!! (And I don’t say that to make you nervous, but to only encourage you to be cautious.) Smile Our first cycle trying I tested really early, and got a BFP, but the baby didn’t stick, and AF arrived the day she was to be expected.

It can definitely be hard to wait the time to pass though, and I think I can speak for all of us when I say that! Lol, but that’s what we’ve got one another for. We’re all in this together!!! Smile

@Mymedusa24 I must say I never realised how common CPs were until I started TTC and looking into it, and for that reason taking an early pregnancy test does worry me. In my head though if I test a little earlier and see it's a BFN I can prepare myself for AF instead of being surprised by it. I already feel so stressed about the whole thing I wish I could just relax about it

Mymedusa24 · 14/06/2019 13:57

@NinaPS I did not either.. but maybe have your other half hide the tests and do your best to wait. Pre-occupy yourself as much as you can in the mean time, or test like you want too, and just tell yourself you will be okay no matter what. I always remind myself next month will be here before I know it, and we’ll get to try again!

Try to stay positive though! Because when it does happen, it will be all more than worth it!!! ❤️

Joining! First month of ttc our 2nd, I'm over 35 and DP is 41 so I feel like the odds are more against us than they were when we had ds 3 yrs ago - determined not to get too obsessed lol

Not using opks but think I ov'd earlier in the week. Hard to tell though as boobs didn't start hurting until yesterday (normally a clear ov sign for me). Current cd22 and af due around 24th june. DP has been away for work the last few days tho so if ov was later than I thought we've probs missed it Sad

MummyMilla · 14/06/2019 14:18

I am on major symptom spotting this month! Cramps were super strong ahead of ovulating (Sunday) and tbh, boobs haven't stopped being tender. I am feeing quietly optimistic that this month could be THE month, but probably won't be. I am on cycle 6, TTC baby #3 - big gap though as DS2 is almost 6!

keanubelieves · 14/06/2019 14:27

@MummyMilla is that an intentional gap or down to circumstance? im feeling anxious even about a 4 year gap (if we can get pg in the next year)

MummyMilla · 14/06/2019 14:30

@keanubelieves a bit of both! We have an 8 year old too. Our youngest has additional needs (we're currently awaiting an autism diagnosis) and so we've got back and forth for a few years now about whether it's wise to have another! We've decided that it'll be OK - plus the boys have been nagging non-stop for a baby brother or sister.

So now we just need to make it happen! aaaaaaargh, no pressure!

Hopeful2020 · 14/06/2019 14:33

Hello, can I join too please?! 😂

I'm 7 dpo on our second month ttc baby#3!
Both mine were unexpected (planned but not tried for) so this part is all new to me, I thought I would be calmer about it!
The 2 week wait is maddening!
I've been tracking with natural cycles for over a year using basal body temp and ovulation tests.

Trying not to symptom spot too much, but had some random imtermittent cramping the past few days and I'm not sure if my boobs feel slightly tender, and been up in the night for a wee the past 3 nights which I never normally need to.
Going to wait til next Mon 24th to test if no period by then.
Hopeful but apprehensive that we'll get lucky this month, I'm 35 so need to crack on!

Best of luck to you all x

keanubelieves · 14/06/2019 14:34

@MummyMilla good luck! sounds like it was probably a tough decision at points, hope it works out for you Smile

ds has also been going on about a baby sibling, dunno where he's got the idea from lol

keanubelieves · 14/06/2019 14:36

hi @Hopeful2020

35 too here and really feeling my age now, i know others are older and i have loads of mum friends who didnt even start til there 40s but it feels like more pressure than it did 3 years ago!!

keanubelieves · 14/06/2019 14:37

getting twinges in my abdomen but know from a year of being off the pill (using condoms/withdrawal) that it doesn't mean anything! seem to get all sorts of random pains in that area since having a baby, lol!! or maybe i just didn't notice b4

MummyMilla · 14/06/2019 14:41

keanubelieves thank you. Yes, been a tricky one to call based on slightly higher chances of having another with autism (and that's notwithstanding how hard it can sometimes be at home parenting a child with additional needs).

I too am old - was 38 in January...so really need something to stick soon!

keanubelieves · 14/06/2019 14:43

Mummy i sympathise, my newphew is autistic and its the reason my DB and SIL won't have any more, he's an amazing child but it would be too much with more

Hopeful2020 · 14/06/2019 14:56

Hi @keanubelieves
It's tough isn't it, I was 25 and 33 when I had my others, and trying to remind myself that fertility only declines at 35, it doesn't jump off a cliff!!
My mum had me at 40 and I think it seems to be easier to get PG subsequent times generally, so I'm sure it'll happen.
Difficult not to be hyper aware of every little twinge! I feel like it might be more of a possibility this month than it was last time - I keep swinging between thinking I definitely will be, then thinking definitely not! 😂🤞

6 DPO today! (CD 24)
Had a big cramp mid day yesterday.
Very, very small spot of blood when I wiped yesterday late in the evening.
@Hopeful2020 I have been waking up needing to use the bathroom the past few nights which is out of the norm for me too!
This morning, I was gagging trying to brush my teeth (has happened time & time again in a few cycles for me, but first day this cycle)! Lol

Fingers crossed for everyone! Smile

keanubelieves · 14/06/2019 15:10

Tnx @Mymedusa24! Hope those are hopeful signs for you!

Wish going to the bathroom every night wasn't normal for me these days Grin

Hopeful2020 · 14/06/2019 15:31

@Mymedusa24 Hopefully that all sounds promising! 🤞
Difficult not to read into every little thing!

I was more disappointed last month than I'd expected to be, I'd had a few signs but it all stopped at 10dpo - still didn't stop me testing like a mad woman! Then each test was a disappointment cos I knew it had been too soon.
So I'm going to try & be strong this time and wait until I'm actually late if no show.
From previous pregnancies sometimes I've had zero signs at all and still been + so you never really know!
Lovely to have an outlet to share all this though, I'm not sure my partner gets it! He just keeps saying well just have to wait & see, it's either a yes or no. No shit Sherlock, obviously, but it's not always that easy!! 😂

keanubelieves · 14/06/2019 15:39

yeah im' not even going to get tests this time, i remember how addictive poas was!!

Mymedusa24 · 14/06/2019 16:04

I really hope so, thank y’all! 🙂

@Keanubelieves And oh my goodness! Lol

@Hopeful2020 You just had me cracking up!!! 😂 My husband would say the same, but I’m going to try to surprise him! 😃
It really is hard not to symptom spot though!
