One dpo today, ovulation confirmed by positive opk. Started taking Fertilty Support for Her this cycle and hit my peak at 200 on Friday morning and experienced a cramping pain on the left side of my abdomen later that evening (first time I’ve ever had ovulation pain before)! Smile Started cycle 5 this month! BBT is also beginning to climb! Anyone starting their ttw?!! Eagerly waiting to see what will become of this month! Halo

@mummy21l it’s still early for testing, and for some HCG levels rise very slow. I wouldn’t count yourself out yet! Not one bit, may I add! 🙂 AF will tell us all! But yes OPKs definitely help, if I would’ve relied on my app - I would have been thinking I ovulated this month one day earlier than I did! And we all know how important that day is so you can time your ‘baby dancing’ around it to increase your chances significantly!

@Hopeful2020 It can be hard, but don’t let doubts have any place in your heart! They’re NOT allowed and that goes for everybody! 🙂 I know it’s not easy but you were just telling everyone yourself the other day to think positive, that includes you too missy!!!

I totally second that though, it has been so wonderful to have all of you to share with, I think it has helped me feel a little less crazy through this TWW to say the least! 😃 😂
I did not know that about 10 DPO though!
Fingers crossed everything will continue for us all!!!

It just occurred to me today though I am supposed to stop my Fertility Support for Her as soon as I am pregnant. I think I will continue testing tomorrow to be safe! I don’t know what it could do, but I know it’s recommended too, and I don’t want to take any chances! (To be on the safe side.) But my cervix is going into a higher position and feels a lot less firm (very squishy) lol so I was shocked to say the least when checking earlier! 😁

Looks like I’m out this month.
Temps took a massive dip to cover line this morning (10dpo) so just waiting for the inevitable.
Good luck to everyone still in!

Hopeful2020 · 18/06/2019 07:09

@Mymedusa24
Thank you, you are absolutely right - see, its sending me round the bend! Listen to your own advice etc! 😂 It's not over til it's over 🤞 that's interesting about cervix position, I don't really track it apart from for period as I use a cup, but is it firm before your period and supposedly softer if you are pregnant? I just googled and it said firm like your nose or soft like your lips? Hard to tell with mine?

@ELW85
Not necessarily! I am 11 dpo and had a dip almost to cover line yesterday, but back up slightly today. A dip around this time can be due to implantation so you're still in the running! Fingers crossed 🤞

I woke up still feeling quite crampy & achey, feels like period is coming but hopefully not, I wouldn't normally get cramps this early - I'm on cd 24, usually 26-30 days, so only another 6 days to wait.. .

Mymedusa24 · 18/06/2019 10:45

@ELW85
@Hopeful2020

I agree with Hopeful!

🤣 It’s definitely hard not to let it, that’s for sure!

10 DPO today. I’m feeling a little crampy too guys, but my cervix position is still rising, I almost can’t feel it anymore. Is that not weird? Don’t tell me that though! I’m trying to keep my feelings at a comfortable level! 😂
It is hard to track it at first. Nose is firm. Chin is moderate. Lips is soft. You can also check for the height and openness too. (Mine also feels pretty open.)

I’m not sure what to think about my crampy self either though but going to try to wait until I absolutely need to go before I poas this morning. I’ve been getting up having to go to pee five hours into the night. 😑

Hopeful2020 · 18/06/2019 11:16

@Mymedusa24
Ooh are you testing today? Good luck and report back, fingers crossed for you. Still quite early though so even if neg doesn't mean it's game over yet! 🤞
Hmmm I would say mine was average height and chin-like, could mean anything! But I don't usually track it so who knows!

Still quite crampy today but no more blood or spotting, just a slightly pinkish vd.
Not sure if I feel slightly sicky occasionally, could just be psychosomatic!
I've had some unusual for me symptoms this time, so really hoping it's something... If I'm not pg this time I don't know what is going on! 😂🤞

ELW85 · 18/06/2019 11:55

@Mymedusa24 @Hopeful2020 thanks both! I want it to be implantation so much, but at this point I just feel like it’s never going to happen (dramatic, I know!)

Mymedusa24 · 18/06/2019 11:59

@Hopeful2020 I’ve changed my mind again, I will hold on to the good luck though!! 😂 I have enough packets of my Fertility Support for Her to last the next 3 days after today. So I will take my last one Friday and test Saturday when AF is expected. They recommend for you to take it until pregnant, so I really don’t think a few days will make a difference considering like you said, I’ll probably get a negative right now anyways!
But yeah, I would just start checking it to see if it does go any higher! 🙂 Fingers crosses those are good signs though! My stomach feels a little queasy, but nothing like yesterday so far!
Right though?! I really hope it is for you too! I will feel the same! This cycle has been beyond any I’ve had before! 😂

If for any reason nothing does happen this cycle though, I would totally recommend Premama Fertility Support for Her (just something to consider) but it’s a unflavored drink mix that’s totally natural and it has so many benefits from egg quality to ovulatory regulation and more! I will be buying again if no sticky baby this cycle! 🙂

Mymedusa24 · 18/06/2019 12:06

@ELW85 I know it can be tough.. last cycle the day AF arrived after being two days late, I was totally crushed. My hopes had jumped so high! My husband kept asking if I was okay, and I didn’t even want to talk about it. And it’s okay to have a moment, it’s just important to remember to pick yourself back up again, and not let yourself stay there! 🙂

OP posts:
ELW85 · 18/06/2019 13:18

@Mymedusa24 - you’re right. I did a FRER to make sure and it was a BFN (obviously I know if it was an implantation dip, it won’t be detectable for a few days). I guess I just have to see what tomorrow brings, but certainly feeling out at the moment.
I’ll get over it via pizza I guess!

Hopeful2020 · 18/06/2019 13:36

@ELW85
It can feel like that, but it will happen. Fingers crossed for you, hopefully a sign of implantation. How long have you been TTC?

@Mymedusa24
Well done for holding off early test, stay strong! Good to avoid the disappointment of a likely negative just cos it's a bit early yet.
My period did that last time too, 2 days late just to spite me & make it worst as I kept doing tests and getting negatives! Gutting.
Hopefully this freaky cycle stuff means there's something cooking! Excited and hopeful for all of us!
Super crampy today, more in my back. Feel a bit queasy but not sure if that's due to cramps, but I felt really windy and farty yesterday (sorry 🤭) and tummy has been a bit unsettled, swinging between a bit constipated and the other way!
Boobs maybe a little tender & feel a bit fuller/heavier maybe, but that can happen before period anyway.

Ohhhhh I hope so!

ELW85 · 18/06/2019 13:38

@Hopeful2020 - we started ‘casually’ trying in March and properly trying (tracking cycles) since April so this is cycle 3/4 depending on how you look at it.
The book I’m reading basically says if you’re tracking your cycles and haven’t got a BFP in 6 cycles, to get checked out.

Hopeful2020 · 18/06/2019 14:03

@ELW85
Ah ok not too long (although feels like forever I know!)
I'd count from when you started tracking and properly trying so only really month 3. Sure you'll get lucky within 6 months, it'll just happen & surprise you!
Apparently there's only about 25% chance of getting Pg each month even if you do everything at the right time, so it can take a few goes - just timing and luck, but it'll happen.
Take care & think positive! Xx

Mymedusa24 · 18/06/2019 14:05

@ELW85 Yes! They often recommend to test every other day (HCG levels double every 48 - 72 hours after implementation). If you can, I would try to wait to test the next day after tomorrow, but good idea! 😋

6 months though? Most women do get pregnant within 6 months, but I’ve always you want to get checked out after 1 year of trying. You may want to double check that just to be sure! 🙂

@Hopeful2020 Thank you! I wanted too, but it just didn’t feel right. Lol. It can be so difficult! I did the same. But uh huh!!! And I’ve been gassy too, don’t worry! 😂 I was just thinking the same this morning though! My boobs have been tender these past few days, but today they do feel fuller!

Treaclepie19 · 18/06/2019 14:47

Feeling pretty rubbish this afternoon. Hot face, falling asleep, crampy low down and stomach is up and down like mad.
Hoping its symptoms but guessing I'm just overtired.

keanubelieves · 18/06/2019 15:01

@ELW85 try not to get too down, it can be quite depressing when ur so aware of it but it'll happen when it happens. Its frustrating as we're told as teenagers that you can basically look at a boy and get pg Grin I still remember a friend of mine saying it took them 4 months and she was starting to panic and while I know it's horrible when you're in the middle of it, I was a bit Hmm at that. I know ppl who for no reason its taken anywhere from a year to 7 years, even ppl in their early 20s. I like to think that whenever it happens is the perfect time for u and the universe making sure u get exactly the child thats right for u at that time. I've read that it s a year of trying with no joy that u get checked, but if ur over 35 its after 6 months.

Sorry ur feeling rubbish treacle and hope its a good sign!

Still no symptoms really, or nothing out of the ordinary for this part of my cycle. Boobs hurt, very very thursty, bit more tired than usual. Only thing I'm not sure is the same as usual is quite a lot of watery cm but i don't remember if that's usual or not!

keanubelieves · 18/06/2019 15:06

one thing I remember from being pg with ds was a weird 'pulling' feeling in the middle of my stomach, that and feeling really, really knackered were the two most out of the ordinary things for me

Treaclepie19 · 18/06/2019 15:25

Thank you :)
I'm very teary too.

I'm telling myself it's all in my head because every time I've been pregnant I've had no symptoms when I tested.

ELW85 · 18/06/2019 15:40

@Mymedusa24 @keanubelieves
Thanks both - you’ve cheered me up!

I think they say 6 months as the guidance of a year is assuming couples don’t track their cycles. If you do track, it’s 6 months (even under 35) which terrifies me!
I guess all we can do is keep going :)

Yes sorry I think its 6 months before if over 35, I am so that's what I was thinking. It'll happen and will be all the more sweeter when it does. They say part of parenthood is patience so it's kind of preparing us for that!
All the symptoms can be very easy to either imagine or miss, depending which way it goes, and you can convince yourself you're feeling something, or not! And it's difficult as you end up questioning how you're feeling both emotionally and physically,which is why it can feel so mentally draining!

Yep keep going and one day the timing will be just right! But it's hard not to get swept up in it all and try and get on with life and enjoy other things going on, difficult not to feel like your life is on hold.

Thinking of you all, hopeful for all of us!

Having said this I am still questioning everything myself! But I either am or I'm not, nothing I can do about it now but wait and hope. And if not we can try again next month.
Love to you all x

Hopeful2020 · 18/06/2019 16:17

And I'm feeling like a big dirty pizza for dinner too!! 😂

MummyMilla · 18/06/2019 16:49

hi @Mymedusa24 thanks for checking in on everyone! My sore boobs are still here today (!) and cramps/dull ache are changing from a stabby type feeling to something deeper and longer.

I feel as though I am actually going nuts. Everything in me is saying I am pg, but I am also bracing myself for the disappointment again.

@ELW85 we've been trying since Jan/Feb time and so I wonder if I ought to go and see GP if this one isn't sticking. I am 38.5, so defo on the older end of the spectrum and it took a good six months to get pregnant with the boys...which was 7 years ago now!

Hopeful2020 · 18/06/2019 17:03

@MummyMilla
I feel the same, feel sure I am in a lot of ways, but trying to brace myself for disappointment in case not this time.
I think it's a good indicator if you've been pregnant before & the length of time it took.
I'm 35 and thinking if nothing after 6 months then I'd double check.
Hopefully this is your month though 🤞

MummyMilla · 18/06/2019 17:14

@hopeful2020 I hope that it's BOTH of our month! Are you testing on Saturday too? I am trying to time my amazon delivery time to be late Friday so that I am not tempted to do it earlier!!
