I’m hoping for the absolute best for you in this @InDreamland

You have good willpower I’m not peeing on a FRER by now but I understand why you’d be anxious

Mistymeow · 06/06/2019 17:28

@knitkitty that’s lovely to hear, thank you, although I do have my moments of being teary and wondering if I’ll ever have a baby. California is lovely, got lots of stuff planned and I’m feeling very relaxed. Here until the end of the month! Glad to hear you have a scan booked. I don’t think anyone can reassure a pregnant recurrent miscarriage woman until you see a healthy heartbeat on the screen. It’s good you are taking it day by day and you have a scan date to aim for.
@Pop1234 very interesting feedback about Dr Shehata. Thanks for sharing. I wonder if he will say similar to me when I see him next month, or if he will be more curious about my DH and his rare condition.
@InDreamland well there is definitely a line, no denying it. Although I don’t know those tests so am not sure how reliable they are. I think you should use the FRER tomorrow. If that is positive you must not automatically assume you will miscarry, I will stop my holiday specifically to come on here and tell you off Wink

Pop1234 · 06/06/2019 19:36

@moonpeace I think it is a recommendation that he gives to everyone just as a standard. Are you seeing him at Harley street or Epsom?

InDreamland · 06/06/2019 21:51

@Russkispy @AliceRR @Mistymeow thank you. I will use a FRER if I see a proper actual unmistakable line on the IC. I think the IC is more sensitive than a FRER. It's a One Step test.

@Mistymeow lovely to hear you're enjoying your holiday. Hopefully you'll come back all refreshed.

AliceRR · 06/06/2019 23:02

Let us know how it goes @InDreamland

I’m thinking I need to be more positive about TTC and everything. I’m thinking the worst, assuming it won’t happen again for us, but the odds are on our side so hopefully it will happen in the near future and in the meantime I will try to make the most of the time DH and I have together, lie ins and maybe try to do some of the things that will not be so easy when we have a family 🤷🏻‍♀️ It could take time to conceive again (and it may not happen). Either way I want to enjoy my life and not waste so much time stressing and obsessing. I just thought I’d share in case any of you can relate. I know some of you have been TTC much longer than I have but “the worst” has happened for us once and it’s difficult not to worry about everything.

rubyroot · 06/06/2019 23:53

Hi all. Sorry to read some of your sad stories- I haven’t quite read the whole thread yet, but I will get there. This baby making is so hard. I’m 40 1 Mmc 9 weeks, 1 18 month boy and 1 tfmr in sept. 2nd cycle of ttc and BFP. For me the ‘conceiving’ seems not to be the hard bit, it’s the rest that follows. So joining for support and to support others. x Trying not to think I’m pregnant- if you know what I mean.

KnitKitty · 07/06/2019 07:32

@InDreamland Oooh! That DOES look like a line!!! My IC was even vaguer than that the same day I got my blazing positive on FRER! Fingers and toes crossed! Keep up updated!

InDreamland · 07/06/2019 07:33

@AliceRR I will (next post will be this morning's tests ........and yes I opened a FRER). I agree it is important to try and enjoy your life. After 4 years of TTC and getting nothing I decided to just go have fun and a year later I was pregnant, ok so we lost the baby but we got pregnant. Fx you get your rainbow very very soon.

@rubyroot sorry for your losses. You're in the right place for support, all the ladies here are so lovely.

InDreamland · 07/06/2019 07:36

Right, my tests this morning. Took the same IC type and got a more noticeable pink line so cracked open a FRER. This is the result using same sample. There is definitely a pink line on the FRER too but is very very faint but definitely a line. I think?

I'm 10 or 11 DPO. AF due Monday I think.

InDreamland · 07/06/2019 07:43

Thanks @KnitKitty. It's so hard to take a decent photo of faint lines. The ones this morning are faint but unmistakable at same time. Definitely pink lines on IC and FRER but nothing on the little dip stick IC but that one is 25mlu whereas IC stick and FRER are more sensitive.

InDreamland · 07/06/2019 07:48

Sorry for all the posts. Is this one better? I'm super anxious now. Why did I test?

KnitKitty · 07/06/2019 07:54

@InDreamland I used the little dip-stick one which was INCREDIBLY faint and then an FRER which was definitely positive. Looks like your other IC is a bit more sensitive than the dip-stick and seems to be picking up the same amount of HCG as the FRER. There's no mistaking that there is a line there! I have absolutely everything crossed for you.

Pop1234 · 07/06/2019 07:54

@InDreamland definitely a BFP! Fingers crossed this is going to be your rainbow 🌈 🤞

Bluebelltulip · 07/06/2019 07:58

@InDreamland I can definitely see faint lines which as you aren't due till Monday is good. Hopefully early next week you can get a darker line. Wishing you the best of luck.

Russkispy · 07/06/2019 08:03

@InDreamland definitely lines in all tests. Tentative congratulations! Everything crossed for you!

InDreamland · 07/06/2019 08:42

@KnitKitty @Pop1234 @Bluebelltulip @Russkispy thank you. I think after the terrible news on Tuesday I just don't believe this will result in our rainbow. The results mean that this is more likely than not to turn into loss #3. Given AF is due Monday I think I need to wait to see if next week I get a proper clear line rather than these faint ones. Must try focus on other things (like that's going to happen).

I'm so sorry I've been so selfish this morning filling up the thread with my anxiety.

Hope you're all okay today and the pregnant ladies are having lots of morning sickness x

KnitKitty · 07/06/2019 09:08

@InDreamland Stay strong. It's early days. I understand you not feeling hopeful, but miracles DO happen. We can do all your hoping for you for now. Big hugs xxx

Beaglemum93 · 07/06/2019 10:37

@InDreamland tentative congratulations! Fingers crossed for you that this is the one. Third time lucky - that's what I keep trying to tell myself!

AliceRR · 07/06/2019 11:18

@InDreamland Thank you. Those are all positives so I really hope it sticks for you 🤞 xx

Treaclepie19 · 07/06/2019 11:40

@InDreamland you're not being selfish!
We're all here to support each other.
Will be keeping everything crossed for you.

Mistymeow · 07/06/2019 16:10

@indreamland this is exactly why the thread exists so please don’t feel you are being selfish! Definite pink lines and I am tentatively excited for you. The strip tests have hardly any dye in them but I can still see something on it. I think you are wise to wait until Monday if you can, because by that time you should get a clearer line. You need that reassurance. So take it one day at a time and good luck!
@alicerr I think we can all relate to your post. It’s very easy to get obsessed with ttc after a loss but it’s very detrimental to your mental health and can cause delayed ovulation and further stress. After my last loss I’ve focussed on mindfulness which is helping. I hope you’re feeling ok.
@rubyroot sorry to hear of your losses. Glad you are currently pregnant but understand your worry. There are a few ladies on this thread in early pregnancy who are also very anxious.

InDreamland · 07/06/2019 18:42

@KnitKitty @Beaglemum93 @AliceRR @Treaclepie19 @Mistymeow thank you. All the ladies here really are the best. Amazing how a bunch of strangers can be so amazingly supportive.

So I think the anxiety is getting to me. Had a headache all day. I thought I was dehydrated but have drunk 2 litres so can't be that now.

Fancy a curry though for dinner.

hayleyfx · 07/06/2019 18:43

@InDreamland that’s definitely a line! I’m so excited for you. Keeping everything crossed. Good luck!

@Boboelephant I had no idea you were pregnant... and with twins!! How amazing. I’m so happy for you, I know all the struggles you went through and you totally deserve this. I’m glad all is going well. Such lovely news x

Thanks everyone 🥰 had another scan today as I couldn’t help myself 🤣 baby now measuring 6+6, 8-9mm and little heartbeat still there 😁 next scan is in 1 and a half weeks.

Mistymeow · 07/06/2019 18:44

@indreamland the headache is likely to be hormonal.

EAT THE CURRY!!
