@AliceRR my AF is due Saturday or Sunday x
I use cbfm it's a very expensive version of the connect (think I was robbed) but I'm the same I use easy@home strips (and the premom app) as well as FF. If I relied on cb I'd be a day out every time. I get my first blazing positive in the afternoon but don't get a peak until the next morning with cbfm so I could miss ovulation completely if I didn't use multiple tests. By the way give premom a go it reads your strip tests for you

@InDreamland I'm finding this wait really hard after last months cp. But to be honest I'm not hopeful I've no symptoms at all. With all my previous pregnancies around 9dpo I start to feel hungover (not sick but you know that weird not quite right feeling), even with the cp's. But not this cycle, in fact I feel quite well ( who would have thought that I would be praying to feel crap).

I too am surrounded by pregnant women, my hair dresser, customers in my shop, next door neighbour, close cousin, its impossible to get away even for just one day. I don't have I'll feelings towards them, more of a deep longing to be in their shoes. It's a constant reminder of what it seems I'm incapable of doing x

@Lilimum7 I know which CB monitor you mean. They are expensive. I go the connect for quite a good price on amazon but still a lot more expensive than CB and I think it’s not good at all that they didn’t pick up ov alone. I don’t feel pregnant at all. I don’t feel 100% well but I think I’m not well hence discussion about mumps yesterday! Are you going to test tomorrow? I don’t even feel like testing atm. I’m sure it’d be a BFN x

AliceRR · 03/06/2019 18:23

Sorry meant the CB connect I have is still a lot more expensive than One Step. I really think it shouldn’t tell you to use fmu. If the issue is to test twice a day then the instructions / app should say that! x

Hi ladies, I'm taking a back seat from obsessing over TTC for a while. I'm ovulating at the moment but much more laid back than previous months.

My GP has referred me to the recurrent miscarriage clinic (I lost twins at 19 weeks in January due to placental abruption then had a CP in March and again in May). My appointment is the 5th August which I thought was pretty quick. Can anyone who has been through the RMC tell me what I might expect, please?

Pop1234 · 03/06/2019 21:13

A bit off topic but Love island has started tonight. Hoping my addiction to it is going to hold me off googling stuff at night time for the next 6 weeks. Anyone else watching it?

MrsLBear · 03/06/2019 21:17

@Pop1234 haha I feel you! But yet I'm sat here on my phone trying to resist analysing my fertility apps 😂😂

InDreamland · 03/06/2019 21:29

@Lilimum7 maybe if you are pregnant and feel different to previous pregnancies then it will also turn out differently and be a successful one? Trying to put a positive on it. I do get the comparing to previous pregnancies, I did it with my second one, I kinda knew I was pregnant before I even tested. Also though suspected I'd lose that one too because of the stronger pulling sensations I had compared to the first.

Interesting convo about the OPKs, this cycle I used my CB digital alongside ICs and both showed the surge at the same time and the build up to the surge too so I'm pretty confident my CB digital is accurate.

So my CB digital OPK and IC detected the LH surge late (midnight) Sunday night going into Monday morning. When would you start testing? My LP is normally 12 days.

@Squiff70 good news that your appointment has come through quickly.

@Pop1234 sorry but I can't stand Love Island. Enjoy it though, good if it's a welcome distraction.

Lilimum7 · 03/06/2019 22:34

@InDreamland I thought the cb digital opk were used with fmu as well?
@AliceRR yes think I will test just to prove to myself that I'm not pregnant and I can stop obsessing over it.

Definitely symptom free so not at all confident

Just checking in after a long weekend!

I'm CD6 and I've decided to try something else other than one step this month so bough easy@home and downloaded Premom app. What OPKs is everyone else using? I've decided to stay away from CB after reading this thread and the issues it causes - for the cost it seems mad it's so far out!

InDreamland · 03/06/2019 23:04

@Lilimum7 I test with FMU until I get flashing smiley then twice a day until I get static smiley (once with FMU and then just before I go to bed). I normally get the surge detected and static smiley in the evening.

Frillyfarmer · 03/06/2019 23:07

@Pop1234 I feel exactly the same. I didn't want to get sucked into the mindlessness of LoveIsland but right now it's just the distraction I need.

InDreamland · 03/06/2019 23:11

@Frillyfarmer I find the CB digital OPK pretty accurate for me. This month I also used MomMed from Amazon and that gave a blazing peak using the same sample I got the static smiley on the CB.

Lilimum7 · 03/06/2019 23:13

@Frillyfarmer I use them hun along side cbfm

@InDreamland that's interesting you should say that cos the last 2 cycles I used the cb and the first one it obvs didn't work and we DTD on the day of the static smiley so this month I used IC opks alongside and they showed a peak the afternoon before the morning of the static on cb. So maybe I should start doing it twice daily once I get my flashing cos I peak later in the day/evening too. I think the previous month I missed the boat entirely as we DTD the night of my static and I think I already ovulated that day or like within an hour of DTD. I remember the first time I got a static smiley I nearly wet myself and no I'm like 😒

MrsLBear · 04/06/2019 06:55

@Lilimum7 what app is that? Loving that you can add photos!

InDreamland · 04/06/2019 07:53

@MrsLBear I remember reading somewhere that once you get the flashing smiley you should test twice a day which I think is the same with the ICs.

Stupidly tested this morning at 7 or 8 DPO. Didn't expect to see a line and of course I was right - although for a moment tried to convince myself there was a squinter when it's really stark white. Thankfully I have ICs that I can waste which satisfies my urge to POAS. I was going to try hold out until Friday. Epic fail!

Russkispy · 04/06/2019 07:55

Think I'm CD33 if to count d&c as cd1 and still no AF. Don't even know when to expect it 🤔

InDreamland · 04/06/2019 08:15

@Russkispy I'd give it a couple more days and then contact GP. Have you done HPT to make sure there's no residual HCG and rule out possible retained products? How are you otherwise? Been thinking about you as you've been through hell.

Lilimum7 · 04/06/2019 08:21

@MrsLBear it's called premom it's fantastic it means you can watch progression and not have to keep the sticks. Also the numbers is fantastic.

As for me tested this morning with frer, it was so white it glowed bfn for me. Now just to wait for the witch to turn up.

Russkispy · 04/06/2019 08:50

Thank you @InDreamland. I was bleeding/discharging for just over 2 weeks after d@c. And 3 weeks after D&C my HCG was 32. And we started DTD every 2 days 4 days after bleeding/brown discharge stopped. haven't done HPT, nor have I been tracking OV. Think it's just taking a bit longer to get first AF after the procedure. Waiting game continues....

Novasky1 · 04/06/2019 10:18

@Russkispy I had my d&C on April 26th, got a +opk 3 weeks after that, tested over the weekend and i got a bfp, so i didnt get any af in between, early days so very nervous with every tinge i feel so worried, fingers crossed for you.

Russkispy · 04/06/2019 10:49

@Novasky1 tentative congratulations! Hope it works out for you! Is it your first? How old are you?! I seem to be an ancient on this thread 😱 of tender 43 haha

Novasky1 · 04/06/2019 10:57

@Russkispy thank you. I'm 38 this month! I have a 15month old DD at home, haha, you are definitely not ancient! Are you TTC your 1st? Are you tempted to test?

Russkispy · 04/06/2019 11:01

I'm quite proud of my age and still TTC. It's my choice, my decision and the rest can just bugger off! Grin my DD was conceived with IUI and will be 2 this Sunday. Can't quite believe it! Not temped at all. Whatever happens Smile
