I have been TTC #1 for 15 months and had a MC at 8 weeks in February.
I am off to the GP tomorrow to try and get a referral to a reproductive endocrinologist.
Tried every trick and tip and old wives tale in the book to get a bfp!
It would be good to have a group of longer term ttcers to chat to.

Hi everyone been stalking a long time but would like to join in if that's ok? Lots of you sound like you are at a similar stage to us...
TTC DC2 for 16 months. Mmc at Christmas and nothing since. I'm 37 and we are being referred to fertility clinic. My cycles are very short (average 21-22 days) but luteal stage is about 12 days... I ovulate very early in my cycle. Day 3 tests showed fsh of 12.9 and lh 5.5, progesterone was 35.5 on day '21' tests. I've been told by GP this is normal but I'm not sure. DH has to redo SA as test was considered incomplete as they say he didn't get all of it when he says he did. So he will do that in a couple of weeks (can't do this week as it's my FW and I don't want to miss our chance this month) and then the referral will go through.
I'm exhausted by it all... this is a long hard journey!

Hi @dragonmummy17 and welcome. It's great that your progesterone is so high as that indicates you're ovulating, which is the most important thing.

@starkid people are unlikely to ask for more info if you say "a medical issue", so hopefully you'll be OK. I'd say if they were going to ask they'd have done it by now so hopefully you'll be all right!

@PineappleC yes it feels like a lot to give up one month ttc for the hycosy. Luckily we were able to time it for July, when we weren't going to be together anyway for fw. And that meant I could take hay fever tablets so was actually great! It was also nice to take a month off from the disappointment of af. Think of some things it means you can do, and enjoy it!

@starkid ohh I would be so embarrassed. Good thing is that they might not realize the true meaning of that. They'll most likely think you needed it for some medical reason. Besides, not like it's some witch craft and next time you see them, they'll shout "Burn her!" 😂

Was the fact that, although it was (mostly) empty, I hadn;t washed it either, so some poor soul went in and was faced with that when trying to wash their hands 😂😂 for shameeeee

Starkid which ovulation tests do u use? I have been using Clearblue ones but I thought I could only use them with first morning pee and it’s frustrating cos I worry I miss actual ovulation later in the day.

@Unicorn9 I read some study that LH surge rarely happens in the morning and is usually midday. Try to time your tests for later in the day. We've all been known to take our pee receptacles with us places. Just don't forget unwashed ones in the sink like someone we know cough @starkid 😂

@Unicorn9 - I use the internet cheapies, can link to you if you like? Not had a positive yet but definitely should be very soon so am now testing 3 times a day (around 2pm, 6pm and 8.30pm)

@Unicorn9 I sometimes use the clear blue opks and test twice a day after getting a flashing smiley. Usually get my peak around 6pm.

@KatBeCool no I'm not sure what meds. I can't remember the name she said over the phone but I'll be receiving my prescription through the post today or tomorrow. Yes, she's sending through another blood test form which she wants me to do 4 weeks after I've started taking the meds. So least she's keeping on top of it.

Starkid yes plse. It would explain why when I went to get fertility testing done and they said I ovulated even though I had a flashing smiley face on the ovulation test that morning! Thks for info:-)

@Unicorn9 - here you go - I'm pretty certain these are the internet cheapies others often refer to as well on here. They're to be done in the afternoon and/or evening. They're so cheap and come in big packs, that you can get away with doing them more often to be sure. Temping alongside this will truly confirm if you are ovulating, if that's an option for you (it isn't for me unless I buy one of those fancy bracelets). Weird that they said you've already ovulated though!

Starkid they did an ultrasound to check everything was ok and saw that I had ovulated apparently by the blood flow around your follicles or something.mind it didn’t help then cos it was back in June and I’m not pregnant:-( AF also arrived today so just irritable with the world!

Cd25 here, AF due around Wednesday.
Last night I had a massive headache, feeling sick, couldn't get warm. Today i'm feeling really unsettled, bit of nausea but very slight, like nothing is fully settled in my stomach & a bit bloaty, few back twinges too and im convinced my right boob is bigger than usual.

I'm trying not to let my mind run away with me, I know more than likely AF will turn up.
I have some frers coming tonight from amazon - same day delivery! So i'll probably test tomorrow.

MrsChicken89 ... It’s so irritating that pms and early pregnancy symptoms are so similar... hope it’s the latter for you. Sending litany of baby dust:-)

@RosettaR just come back from my appointment. I loved it!! I'm gutted I didn't go sooner. She made me feel so at ease and was so understanding. I'm going once a week. Did you just not like it or didn't feel like it was for you?

@Mrs71 - that's great to hear!!

IUI is done as of this morning! Little crampy but the speculum part was the worst. Onto the TWW. They said to DTD tonight as well.
