Anybody in their 2WW?

Pretty sure I ovulated yesterday (hopefully!), due AF on 13th May, anybody else starting their 2WW?

(Warning: I am a serial symptom spotter and POAS addict, I have zero willpower 😂)

@MMama18 sounds like you're trying loads of really great things there 👍🏻 if I end up being out this month I think I'll be avoiding all opks and early testing next month too (we say this now!....) I still haven't figured out what's going on this month, AF was due today but frer is negative and had a few tummy cramps this evening so she may well appear tomorrow!

Whilst reading some other threads they seem to mention Agnus castus (think that's how you spell it??) a lot. I've never tried it but there are some positive comments on there so not sure if it's worth looking into? 🤷🏻‍♀️

@MrsG3 oh yeah Agnus Castus worked great for me (may have been a conincidence but who knows) I was taking ages in hope it would help get cycles back to any sort of normality after stopping the pill, 8 months later I tried AC as it is supposed to be good for regulating cycles. Got BFP first month trying it. If you have issues with irregularity then I would definitely recommend. You take it from CD1 until ovulation and then stop (incase you are pregnant) hope that helps! x

@MMama18 sounds like a fanstastic game plan! 💪🏼 if you are not already then you could also try preseed. This may have helped me also...

Thanks @RudyRoo, I think my cycle is all over the place at mo, last 2 have only been 21 days long! This definitely sounds like something worth trying! 😀 Do they sell it in places like Holland and Barrett etc? Must remember not to call it Angus cactus 🤣🤣🤣

I'm not sure what it would do if your cycles are already short. I think most people use it to shorten cycles but you could do some research on what it does to help with already short ones. Don't buy from Holland and Barratt - I did this and then discovered afterwards the dosage was so weak it probably wouldn't have made any difference. (Apparently they changed the strength a couple of years ago) I got this one from amazon. I took one 400mg capsule per day. Yes Agnus Cactus is a bit easier to say at least! 😂

So..... I have a second line. 🤔

For 16dpo, I'd have expected it to be stronger. Don't get me wrong, it is there,it is pink, and you don't have to do any squinting. I'm shocked to say the least.

Does the TWW start from ovulation or from after sex in a fertile period? I'm confused a little

Here we go. Although I can see it, I still inverted it just to be sure.

I keep going back to check it is still there.

Currently waiting to check again to be sure.

@babysox so we measure the TWW in DPO (days past ovulation) so you start the TWW at 1DPO being the day after ovulation

I may be clutching at straws here but if I'm now 1 day late does it have to be fmu? Does it really make that much difference?

Wonder if that's making any difference (I really am clutching at straws now!!) as I haven't used fmu for any of mine. It's been a bit tricky with ds wanting a wee first thing too lol!

Has everyone else had their bfps with fmu?

I had mine this morning with fmu. Then, because I didn't believe it, I did another at lunchtime with 3rd wee of the day (was busting by then as I drink a lot). Still positive.

I've just done a cheap treat 7/8DPO silly!!!! I knew it wouldn't show anything so don't know why I did it!!! Can't wait to try an early one. When I caught with ds1 I use a clear blue weeks indicator one but keep reading about first response? Which is better? Also I am counting when I got a smiley face on opk as the day I ovulated? Is that right?

@MrsG3 I had my BFP with FMU but when I tried again the same afternoon it was the same. I was 15DPO though so no squinters!

Hi @josprout, definitely plenty of time yet to get that bfp 🤞🏻 crossed for you! Can't comment on the tests as all of mine have been negative but I know other people say the frers are really sensitive. Afraid I don't know much about the smiley faces either but I'm sure someone else on here will.

In other news I'm now 2 days late, feeling nauseous, have a bfn and feeling royally cheesed off! Just wish AF would hurry up so I know what's going on now.

@RudyRoo thanks for the info. Think I'm definitely out as even fmu is giving me a bfn (blank, not even a squinter!). Just wish AF would hurry up now so I can start again 😀

@MrsG3 how many DPO are you? Oh, I know that feeling, one cycle I was 45 days waiting for AF to come! So annoying when you want to start over.
I'm good thanks, still doesn't really feel real. Have booked in for private 8 week scan so I'm counting the days til that, hoping it might start to feel real after that!

@RudyRoo the app says 16dpo although it's anyone's guess how accurate that is. Starting to wish I'd tracked things a bit better! My cycles have only been 21 days long so I could be in for a very long wait 🤣

It will definitely feel much more real when you have your scan, nothing like seeing your little one for the first time 💕

@josprout first response early response have the best reputation for testing early, I think the digital ones tend to be less sensitive. The constant smiley face means you’re ovulating in the next 24 hours I believe as it detects the LH surge which happens around 24 hours before egg is released. There’s unfortunately no way to determine exactly the day you ovulated but I’d go with the solid smiley day as the closest estimate
