Decided to set up a thread for ladies due to ovulate some time around the 22nd March. If you're due to OV around this time, come on in!

I find these easier to follow than the big month-long threads.

Thought we could all test at similar times, discuss our crazy symptom spotting, and all the other "fun" around TTC.

You're doubly welcome if you're a POaS addict like me Grin

About me:
33
This will be cycle 5 after TFMR last year.

TTC our first

I've tried conceive plus, preseed, all manner of ovulation kits, etc.

This month I'm going to focus on losing half a stone. I've put a lot of weight on since my TFMR. I think i could be disadvantaging myself. I'm also going to cut down on caffeine throughout the who cycle.

I've also bought the Harvard medical school Fertility Diet book, all backed up with science so I'll let you all know how I get on with it.

Here's a summary if anybody interested: www.urmc.rochester.edu/medialibraries/urmcmedia/fertility-center/education/documents/fertility-diet.pdf

@WildFlower2019 according to my lmp I am 8+3 but I had an early scan last week which dates me at 7+4 today so I'm due on 18th November. What's your edd? Are you having any symptoms yet?

Kinsella82 · 05/04/2019 09:03

Sorry @Loti92 :(

Coastaldreamer · 05/04/2019 09:09

Sorry for BFNs ladies. I know exactly how you feel in just wanting to see that second line :((

I'm on cd30 and not due till Sunday according to Flo and clue and just going to wait for AF now as I want to start afresh next month. I was desperate for a 2019 baby but deffo looks like that isn't happening and we move to cycle 3. I know it is so so early in the grand scheme of things but can't help feeling shit about it?! Is that just me?!

DH said it's so early for us and let's just enjoy the process and not stress and logically that makes so much sense but when you want it so much why does logic seem so far fetched?!

Wishing you all a happy Friday and great weekend ahead x

Kinsella82 · 05/04/2019 09:11

@Coastaldreamer I'm the same. And I can't even vent properly to my husband because I promised I wouldn't get so obsessed! I will tell him I'm disappointed of course but I feel more than disappointed it that makes sense. I was so sure this would be our month and to we'd have a Christmas baby

WildFlower2019 · 05/04/2019 09:17

Sorry to everyone who has had BFNs or AF arrive. I know it's heartbreaking xx

@Chanel05 about a month after you if this is a sticky bean! Fingers crossed! AF properly due today but I normally have 3 days of spotting before this, and nothing so far!

Ran out of FRERs but the lines on my cheapies are getting stronger every day.

Did you pay privately for an early scan? The only place that does it in my city just happens to be a five minute drive from my house and in the same building as my doctor and dentist! Only problem is, it's £90! DH wants to book it though.

I'm sure the date thing will resolve itself. I've heard that millimetres can make all the difference in their measurements and at this stage, dates can be out. I'm sure I've seen lots of similar threads on here about dates being out at early scans x

Hello. BFN for me this morning. I’m really upset even though I told myself I wouldn’t let it bother me.
Sorry to everyone else who got BFN as well! X

Chanel05 · 05/04/2019 10:21

@WildFlower2019 how many dpo did you get a bfp? Yes I did pay privately, I think it was £89 but well worth the money imp.

WildFlower2019 · 05/04/2019 12:58

@Chanel05 tested negative at 9dpo with a frer but knew I would, what a waste 🙄. Positive at 10dpo. (attached pics of 10,11,12dpo)

Internet cheapies only just starting to give me a half decent line. I had a hint on one yesterday. (Attached those too, 10,11,12,13dpo)

I think I've decided to pay for the private scan. Did you tell your family after the scan or are you waiting until your nhs scan at 12w?

I was thinking if I have a scan at 8w and everything is ok, I'll tell our parents. Everyone else at 12-13 weeks. I'm just wary after our experience before, having to TFMR at 13 weeks. I guess I can't wait until 20 weeks as we have a big family wedding the week before!

@Loti92 I'm pleased the test pics helped. I was a bit worried about sharing them, truth be told. I don't want to upset anybody! Xx

I also think the top two are the wrong way round. It was a quick pic I snapped for DH x

@WildFlower2019
@Chanel05

Congrats on your BPFs!!

Do you usually get PMS before AF, like stomach cramps, sore boobs etc? Did you get them this time before your bpf too??

I tested yday with bfn but got less cramps than I normally get before AF and I'm due on Sunday. Waiting at least a week now to test I think if AF Doesn't come as I'm on cd30 but sometimes my cycles can go upto 36 so maybe I have a longer cycle this time and I ovulated later 🤷🏽‍♀️

Thanks x

WildFlower2019 · 05/04/2019 14:51

Hi @Coastaldreamer yes I do and yes I did. Both times I have had positives x

Namely sore breasts, migraine/headache, period-like cramps and mood swings x

WildFlower2019 · 05/04/2019 14:51

Also, good luck!

Chh87 · 05/04/2019 19:52

I tested again today because AF was due - BFN! So I’m giving up this month and enjoying a nice glass of wine. Have a good weekend everyone

Coastaldreamer · 06/04/2019 12:29

CD31 (normally can be anything between 28-35 days)and I'm feeling crampy like AF is coming. I had kinda accepted it but this afternoon I did an OPK and got a faint second line. Do you think that means anything? X

Chanel05 · 06/04/2019 19:02

@WildFlower2019 that's good progression so far! I've told 4 family members so far. Going for another scan next Saturday when I will be 8+5 then I will tell remaining close family.

Kinsella82 · 07/04/2019 07:39

Woke up to AF this morning
I was expecting it Fri or Sat so it's not that far off.
I had given up on getting the bfp this month but there's still that little bit of hope that clings on until AF arrives. I had no cramps leading up to it in the last couple of days

Michellebops · 07/04/2019 07:50

@Kinsella82 I'm out too.

Af arrived yesterday bang on.

Thank goodness I only wasted one test this month.

I'm not on b12 tablets for a b12 deficiency which I read can cause temporary infertility so fingers crossed the tablets do their job and next month is my month.
