Decided to set up a thread for ladies due to ovulate some time around the 22nd March. If you're due to OV around this time, come on in!

I find these easier to follow than the big month-long threads.

Thought we could all test at similar times, discuss our crazy symptom spotting, and all the other "fun" around TTC.

You're doubly welcome if you're a POaS addict like me Grin

About me:
33
This will be cycle 5 after TFMR last year.

TTC our first

I've tried conceive plus, preseed, all manner of ovulation kits, etc.

This month I'm going to focus on losing half a stone. I've put a lot of weight on since my TFMR. I think i could be disadvantaging myself. I'm also going to cut down on caffeine throughout the who cycle.

I've also bought the Harvard medical school Fertility Diet book, all backed up with science so I'll let you all know how I get on with it.

Here's a summary if anybody interested: www.urmc.rochester.edu/medialibraries/urmcmedia/fertility-center/education/documents/fertility-diet.pdf

@WildFlower2019 I'm going to save my frer for another day or two

Crazybunnylady123 · 03/04/2019 09:18

@Kinsella
Are you testing Friday or Saturday?
The waiting is hard!

SunStruck · 03/04/2019 09:28

@WildFlower2019 I see it very clearly! Congrats :)

I also tested this morning 8 or 10 DPO (not sure which) and saw a faint faint line! Never been pregnant before so first time ever.

Now worried about chemical (always worried about something right 🙄). When is it 'safe' for chemical you mean, after approx how many weeks?

I was cramping a lot yesterday and the day before yesterday, but nothing today. My temp dropped right down to near coverline and spiked this morning, so I think implementation happened yesterday? Can it be this recent?

WildFlower2019 · 03/04/2019 10:12

@SunStruck congrats on our line! Can you capture it in a picture?

I read that every pregnancy is a chemical pregnancy up to around five or six weeks when the Fetal pole can be detected on an ultrasound and after that, it becomes a clinical pregnancy.

So when people say they've had a chemical pregnancy, they actually mean they've lost a chemical pregnancy.

Sorry to be pedantic!

The good news is the risk of loss/miscarriage goes down every week. By now, we're technically 3 weeks pregnant. In another 3 weeks, the risk starts to dramatically drop. expectingscience.com/2015/08/26/lies-damned-lies-and-miscarriage-statistics/

I'm going to try and set myself little milestones for now. Get through today (when I'd normally start spotting before AF, and get to Friday when AF is properly due, then hopefully each week after that until I can have a scan!)

Good luck. X

@WildFlower2019 oh thanks for explaining! Still difficult to get my head around the weeks (as they say 6 weeks but mean from the first day of your last period right)? My ovulation date was late (CD24 or 26) so technically I must just have conceived (implementation).

I can't post more pics today but please look at the 4 days DPO or 2 days DPO thread, I posted in them this morning with pics :)

WildFlower2019 · 03/04/2019 11:32

@SunStruck no problem. Yes, always counted from the first day of your last period.

I'll have a look at those threads x

Cramps have now gone completely? Very strange? No doubt they will be back in time for AF Saturday ☹️

Kinsella82 · 03/04/2019 11:52

@20TinkerBell20 my cramps have eased a lot too. I am normally such a patient person. Can't believe how head melted I am

SunStruck · 03/04/2019 11:55

@WildFlower2019 when is the earliest time you can have a scan and see something/heartbeat? I'm going to be worried until I can I bet! 🤦🏻‍♀️

WildFlower2019 · 03/04/2019 12:02

I think it's at about 6 weeks (so about 3 weeks from now) x

Was just popping in to see how this thread was going. Congrats @WildFlower2019 !! Great to see that you've got your bfp :) wishing you the happiest, healthiest 9 months.

WildFlower2019 · 03/04/2019 21:27

Aww thank you @Chanel05 😁

I’m definitely out this month. AF arrived 4 days early and made a very painful appearance Sad

Crazybunnylady123 · 04/04/2019 09:32

@tinkerbell I’m sorry at least you know. Fingers crossed this next cycle. XX
I’m testing tomorrow maybe period due tomorrow,

20TinkerBell20 · 04/04/2019 10:06

crazybunnylady123 fingers crossed for you. Keep us updated Smile

Coastaldreamer · 04/04/2019 11:06

Sorry for AF!

Bfn this morning. I've no idea how many DPO I am and I'm on CD29 with varying cycles of 28-36 days in last 6 months. Not feeling positive though 🤷🏽‍♀️ :(

20TinkerBell20 · 04/04/2019 11:26

My last three cycles since coming off the implant have been exactly 31 days long. My periods start with very light cramps on and off for 5-7 days before then two days of spotting before it really starts. This time it’s a 27 day cycle which came on all of a sudden with painful cramps and bright red bleeding within a few hours. I though I was starting to understand my cycles but maybe not Sad

Chh87 · 04/04/2019 11:40

I have still had cramps on and off - I tested yesterday (BFN) and was convinced from my cramps this morning that AF would be here this morning, but now my cramps have disappeared again! I’m totally okay with it not being my month this month as we have only just started trying, but I wish AF would arrive and put me out of my misery, and so I can start getting to grips with my cycle after coming off the pill!

Crazybunnylady123 · 04/04/2019 12:48

Cramps today. Weird blocked ears feeling.
I don’t usually get cramps till I’m actually bleeding. So I’m waiting to see if af starts today.

Kinsella82 · 04/04/2019 19:02

All the cramps are very confusing. I don't normally get them til day before af but I've had them ages now. Af due tomorrow - gonna do frer tomorrow morning and if it's neg I'm giving up on this month.

Crazybunnylady123 · 04/04/2019 19:37

@Kinsella82
I’m doing a frer in the morning.

Kinsella82 · 04/04/2019 19:38

@Crazybunnylady123 good luck!! I'm driven demented so ill be glad to draw a line under this month!!

WildFlower2019 · 04/04/2019 21:25

@Chanel05 how far along are you now? I hope everything is ok?

I'm trying to work out how many weeks ahead of me you are. Are you also due in December or is it November? X

OP posts:
Kinsella82 · 05/04/2019 07:17

Well that's a stark bfn for me with fmu on a frer at 13dpo. Af due today. I am going to try and move on for this month because I have obsessed. Gutted as we really did everything this month and still got it wrong :( I so so so wanted this this month

Paddypaws91 · 05/04/2019 07:37

Sorry @Kinsella82 there really is nothing more disappointing, especially when everything has been timed perfectly.

I find it helps setting short terms goals to try and achieve before the next TWW, it seems to make the TWW come round quicker (does for me anyway).

I've completely screwed up my timings this cycle and ALL the AF symptoms today, so I'll be joining you soon.

Do you mind me asking what cycle you're on?
