Decided to set up a thread for ladies due to ovulate some time around the 22nd March. If you're due to OV around this time, come on in!

I find these easier to follow than the big month-long threads.

Thought we could all test at similar times, discuss our crazy symptom spotting, and all the other "fun" around TTC.

You're doubly welcome if you're a POaS addict like me Grin

About me:
33
This will be cycle 5 after TFMR last year.

TTC our first

I've tried conceive plus, preseed, all manner of ovulation kits, etc.

This month I'm going to focus on losing half a stone. I've put a lot of weight on since my TFMR. I think i could be disadvantaging myself. I'm also going to cut down on caffeine throughout the who cycle.

I've also bought the Harvard medical school Fertility Diet book, all backed up with science so I'll let you all know how I get on with it.

Here's a summary if anybody interested: www.urmc.rochester.edu/medialibraries/urmcmedia/fertility-center/education/documents/fertility-diet.pdf

Wow....I have mental heartburn!! Dp looking at me and smiling!!! Trying not to think about it too much but it’s not working.
I never have heartburn. Feel a little sick now.
I’m thinking how silly I’m going to look when I get a bfn.

Anon7501 · 28/03/2019 15:28

Any of you girls chart? How are your charts looking today? I had a slight dip but remaining positive :)

Gah, horrific PMS today. Tired and tetchy. I can’t tell how much is hormones and how much is annoyance at the fact that I know AF is definitely on the way!

deathbycats · 28/03/2019 17:57

@crazychemist what DPO are you? I'm 7-8 (provided that I ovulated a week ago today, had +OPK a week yesterday) and trying not to get too caught up in the symptoms now because I know that there's more likelihood of them being normal menstrual symptoms, even though it's not due for another 7 days.

Anon7501 · 28/03/2019 22:21

Does anyone else get serverly constipated during 2ww?

Michellebops · 29/03/2019 06:40

@Anon7501 I'm the complete opposite 🙈💩

Robbo93 · 29/03/2019 06:58

7DPO and I welcome stomach cramps alongside nausea ... gah 😭

deathbycats · 29/03/2019 07:30

Your cautionary tale in not testing early - my 8-9dpo BFN 😅

Okay so I woke up with nausea and stomach cramps.. they disappeared within the hour and now when I've just wiped there was a little blood.. pinkish in colour atm but afraid AF is on her way :( x

deathbycats · 29/03/2019 08:18

Keep an eye on it Robbo. At 7dpo that’s the right timing for an implantation bleed - especially if it’s pink and doesn’t go red.

crazychemist · 29/03/2019 09:18

@Robbo93, seconding @deathbycats, 7dpo is perfect timing for an implantation bleed. Implantation bleeds are typically pink/pale brown rather than red, relatively small amount and stop after half a dayish (can be two days for some ladies). If bleeding stops before going full flow, then you should test in 4 days (which will be day 25 I think) as by this time if you are preggers you’d have HCG (although obvs if you wait a bit longer the levels would be higher, but personally I wouldn’t be able to wait!)
Fingers crossed for you!!!

crazychemist · 29/03/2019 09:22

@deathbycats pretty sure I OVd earlier than expected (my cycles aren’t. Completely regular) so I think I’m probably 16dpo by now. Symptoms very much premenstrual rather than pregnancy, I don’t feel anything like I did when I was expecting DD1.
(Besides, between DD1 sleeping badly and MIL visiting and being horrifically nosy and staying up at night, our timing was not ideal!)

crazychemist · 29/03/2019 09:26

@Anon7501, yep, frequently constipated at about day 25. Bloated and horrible usually. It’s caused by progesterone that is released by the egg. It’s makes your lining nice and thick in preparation for implantation, but also causes the muscle in your bowels to relax so everything slows down and doesn’t pass as easily.

(Probably more detail than you wanted. It cheers me up sometimes because at least I know I ovulated that month or I wouldn’t have the progesterone!)

Anon7501 · 29/03/2019 09:48

@crazychemist yea have been badly constipated all week and bloated, its driving my crazy but at the same time i dont care because i am happy my body is doing what it should lol 🤷‍♀️.

However on wednesday my bm were quite loose and that night i had a dip in my chart, i wonder is it connected.

Kinsella82 · 29/03/2019 11:21

I feel like I've every symptom going! Still only 6dpo. Time has slowed right down!

Robbo93 · 29/03/2019 12:48

Still pinkish for me atm. It's CD28 for me but don't think I ovulated til CD21/22 according to my clearblue smiley face on CD20. Been fine on the 💩 side of things until today where I've had to really strain. Sorry TMI x

Kinsella82 · 29/03/2019 13:31

Sounds promising @Robbo93

lori2019 · 29/03/2019 13:42

Ladies, can I join you?
According to my opk I ovulated on 23/24th.

Yesterday I had some spotting, not enough to stain a pad, just when I wiped, it lasted a few hours then stopped. Same again for a couple of hours today. It's definitely from there as I used a tampon.

It would seem to early for a implant bleed and I've never had a 10day early period before. I do have a very bloated belly & cramps so not sure if it is the start of AF - it's the stopping & starting that has me very confused.

Paddypaws91 · 30/03/2019 07:14

Hi again @WildFlower2019 and fellow threaders 👋

I'm back after a little break from MN. After the last cycle, I had a late and very heavy, painful, clotty and short period, I was having to change pads every 5 minutes at one point!! I also suffered a bereavement the very same day that started.

Feel in a stronger place now and I find these threads so supportive. Hope it's okay to join (I know it's a little late in the day).

According to my app, I ovulated on 24th March, however, 3 days later I had spotting and Mittelschmerz pain, so think I actually ovulated on 27th March.

I haven't used Preseed this cycle, I wasn't actively monitoring my FW, just sort of went with the flow, so no high hopes for this cycle (cycle 4), but you never know!

Just going through the thread now and reading all your stories 👀😜
Anybody planning on testing soon?

crazychemist · 30/03/2019 13:51

Hi @paddypaws91. Sorry to hear about your bereavement.

AF finally showed up (phew, I was starting to get worried I was going to have another double length cycle!) so back to day 1 Grin Now time for large numbers of Biscuit and maybe some Wine

Robbo93 · 30/03/2019 13:56

@crazychemist oh no! How unfortunate.. you should have put money on it after-all!! X

crazychemist · 30/03/2019 14:38

What about you @Robbo93? I’m sure we’re all waiting to hear how your symptoms are getting on? Did the spotting stop?

Robbo93 · 30/03/2019 15:05

@crazychemist went red yesterday evening when I finally managed to get no2 out.. then one wee after was pink.. then nothing all evening or early morning... now back to faint pink..

Literally just started to have twinging/light cramps in downstairs department so I still think AF is gonna show!!

WildFlower2019 · 30/03/2019 20:34

Hello again @Paddypaws91 - lovely to see you back here. I am glad you're feeling stronger x x

I'm 8dpo tomorrow but convincing myself I should do a test.

I literally know it's stupid and that 9dpo is the most common implantation day and I'm officially gaga.

I think I've at the very least talked myself down from wasting a FRER. I've compromised to only use an IC.

Confused

I currently don’t have any tests but I’ve convinced my self there is no point as it won’t be this month. 7dpo today and feel like I should be noticing something by now!!
