@thumper59 hope the nausea passes, it will all seem real once you have had your scan 😀

@Hannah192 I use OPKs along with the Glow app as you can take pictures of your results, I find that really useful!

@DayDreamer1707 we are in Scotland, just outside of Edinburgh, its above 4 degrees so that counts as nice right? 😂Im CD10 with FW starting tomorrow so we are pretty close, last month didn't OV until CD19 and Glow is predicting it next Thursday so hopefully the OH is perkier then lol! Your OH sounds like the dream, we need to get well and truly on it this weekend!

FlapJackered · 01/03/2019 13:53

@TrashKitten10 actually I will be 31 end of this month 😩 ...so Age 31 Cycle 9. Thanks lovely x

starkid · 01/03/2019 13:54

@FlapJackered - good to hear from you Smile I've continued touting the soya isoflavone info since you've been gone! Think there's a few of us trying them this cycle xx

@GemmaXOX - wow, continuous AF for 6 years sounds horrendous! This will all seem so weird after that 😂

GemmaXOX · 01/03/2019 14:01

@Starkid It was! haha, I was one of the unlucky ones, some of my friends have no AF whatsoever on the Implant! Very thankful to be off it now.

FlapJackered · 01/03/2019 14:22

@starkid good job!! I will be back on them cycle 10 for sure. Hopefully they work! Are you going to try them again?

DayDreamer1707 · 01/03/2019 14:31

@Lozzlepop you are a little further up north than me, I am in Lancashire and its 8degrees, so I suppose it is cracking the flags for this time of year. Think I should ovulate around Tuesday so we can enter the TWW together and slowly lose our minds ha!

starkid · 01/03/2019 14:34

@FlapJackered - yeah I'm doing cd3-7 this time, starting today. Only side effects from this morning's so far is a constantly jittery leg and feeling a bit distracted/twitchy 😂

BabySquid · 01/03/2019 14:37

So the dr rang me back about the MC in sept, the specialist says that because I was pregnant then, that they won't see me till sept this year. So she's also cancelled my bloods as they'd only need to do them again in sept if I'm still not pregnant by then. So I'm no further than I was yesterday I suppose, other than knowing the dr isn't worried about anything after copping a feel of my squidgy belly haha 😂 trying to stay positive, decided to stop putting my life on hold too so I'm going back to the gym no matter what week it is.
@starkid @FlapJackered I'm also on the soy's (you just reminded me to take today's so thanks for mentioning them!) let's see if I get the hype and get the decorating done in 5 mins flat 😂

KatBeCool · 01/03/2019 16:03

@BabySquid it's like they're losing something by trying to help you. I don't like your "specialist". Hopefully SI work for you, and extra B6 after you ovulate, and might as well eat the yams too. SI are helping you ovulate but clearly you were ovulating before to get pregnant, so other side is keeping it and progesterone is one of the key things, so maybe B6 will help?

starkid · 01/03/2019 16:11

@KatBeCool - Sorry to jump in, I bought 10mg B6 tablets. Still taking my seven seas trying for a baby tablets every day, and now started the soya iso's again, but would you suggest taking the extra B6 in the luteal phase rather than before ovulation?

LokiCat · 01/03/2019 16:20

@BabySquid bit annoying that they cancelled your blood test. Guess it's good that they aren't worried about any problems. Fingers crossed you will get pregnant again soon.

Good luck to you all starting your new cycles! ❤️🤞🏽

So glad it's Friday - I've got a long weekend and don't go back into work until Wednesday (did a work from home day on Tuesday after my scan, just incase I get bad news..!).

Any plans for the weekend?? I'm going to be spending my Saturday afternoon at soft play for my nephews birthday - don't know how much I'll enjoy that! 🙈

LokiCat · 01/03/2019 16:21

Forgot to ask, what folic acid tablets are you guys taking, if any? GP stressed that to me when I saw her two weeks ago. I've been taking the Superdrug's ones as they were recommend a lot on another thread..

KatBeCool · 01/03/2019 16:30

@starkid I asked Dr Google lol. Sounds like you need to take it all the time, and not just B6 but together with B12, so maybe B-complex is a better pill choice. The dose for B12 should never exceed 100 mg per day. I read people take 50 mg before ovulation and 100 mg after. When you do get pregnant, you have to wean off very slowly through 12 weeks or it might cause a drop in progesterone.
Looks like it's more popular than I originally thought, many success stories.

@FlapJackered I think that might interest you too.

starkid · 01/03/2019 16:49

@KatBeCool - Hm yes I have an oral B12 spray I sometimes use as well as it being partially included in my seven seas tablets (I ought to take it all the time anyway due to having had bowel surgery).
Ok that's fine then, I took a B6 today so will carry on the rest of the cycle :)
It's all so interesting! And weird, how for some it all just comes together with no trying or tweaking or planning...

starkid · 01/03/2019 16:51

@LokiCat - mine's included in my 'Seven Seas Trying for A Baby' tablets I'm on. Might change to the Pregnacare ones once these run out though, as they seem to have higher dosages of the other vitamins than my current ones, and a lot more included too

LokiCat · 01/03/2019 17:37

Okay I was going to hold off waiting to POAS until tomorrow... but are my eyes playing tricks on me??? I've been staring at it for so long!

TTC FIRST BABY - Thread 14!
OhMarnie · 01/03/2019 17:54

@LokiCat I can see a line!! I would say be cautious as mine was a false positive but yours I think is a lot clearer and looks like it has colour whereas mine was just grey. Did it come up within the time limit?

orangeloo · 01/03/2019 18:13

@LokiCat yes I can see a line! Be cautious like @OhMarnie said but there is def something there! FX for you!

Officially on cycle 3 now cd1. Renewed hope and pleased to move on. hope OH will be back in the country in time for OV but not getting my hopes up incase. The next cycle won't be far behind.

LokiCat · 01/03/2019 18:13

@OhMarnie yeah, I am trying not to get too excited as I know false positives are possible, unfortunately. I don't think I actually believe it, to be completely honest.. It did come up in the time limit. I quickly went to Superdrugs before it closed to get a FRER to test in the morning. Good thing DH isn't here, he would have wondered why I left the house so fast!

LokiCat · 01/03/2019 18:14

Thanks @orangeloo! I'm going to try and keep calm till I test in the morning 🤞🏽 not sure if I should say anything to DH when he gets home..

LikeTheFruit · 01/03/2019 18:30

@Lozzlepop oh we live very near to you! The warming weather was nice while it lasted.

@LokiCat I think I can see a pink line too, fingers crossed for the FRER in the morning.

orangeloo · 01/03/2019 18:37

@LokiCat ooh that's a tough one about DH I'm not sure what I'd do, you might not be able to keep it in 😀. Fx for you tomo X

Lozzlepop · 01/03/2019 18:57

@DayDreamer1707 yaaaay we can be almost cycle buddies together and symptom spot like maniacs

@LokiCat oh how exciting, fingers crossed for the FRER tomorrow

@BabySquid sorry youvarw back to square one hun that must be frustrating

@LikeTheFruit we are in Dunfermline, what about you? It was indeed, quite a difference to this time last year 😂

LikeTheFruit · 01/03/2019 18:59

@Lozzlepop we're in Edinburgh. I know, got a Facebook reminder about the snow last year, today. Can't believe how different it is this year!

MrsMcNtobe · 01/03/2019 19:32

@likethefruit @lozzlepop yay Scottish friends! I’m glasgow 🙂
